I know that I can use a video as a cover picture, bur is there any change too use a picture for that ????

Might need a little more information here. Are you trying to obtain screen captures? If all you're wanting to do is take stills from your videos then the answer is yes, you can but you'll have to transfer your videos from your iPhone to your computer first (unless you can find an APP on the iTunes store to help you to do it on your iPhone).
There are a few ways to do it. The first is that you can use the button on your keyboard called "Prt Scr" or "Print Screen". This takes a shot of your screen which you can then "paste" into a program like paint, or photoshop or even Word to then save as a jpeg image. When using this option a good trick is to use "Alt" + "Prt Scr" to only capture the current window rather than your entire desktop.

Also, some DVD programs have this function in built in them so it's a good idea to explore what's already installed on your computer.

This is usually due to the app not allowing video to airplay for nebulous rights reasons.

Is it possible to use Lightroom with multiple computers that are not networked?

I am new to Lightroom although I have been a professional photographer for over 15 years. Currently, I use the software that came with my camera to process my RAW files, Digital Professional Pro by Canon for a Mark II 5D.
I have been evaluating the lasest version of Lightroom to consider purchasing it. So far, I love the expanded ability for image adjustments and enhancements. However, in my current workflow, I need to be able to save the adjustments to be able to transfer the files to another computer. Is this possible with Lightroom? With Digital Pro, I can tweak a RAW file and it will save the adjustments no matter what computer I open the image file on. I need to be able to duplicate this process in order to convey to our production department how I want an image adjusted and cropped.
I downloaded the trail version on two computers, then imported images into Lightroom. Made adjustments, then copied the images to a flash drive.Uploaded images from flash drive to my laptop, then re-imported the images into Lightroom and the adjustments were not saved.

After some research, my answer lies in the XMP file. Whenever I make adjustments to the image, I can save my adjustments by creating an XMP file (CTRL S). It writes it back to the original image folder so when I burn the folder to hand off the files to my production team, the xmp parleys my image adjustments. They in turn can make adjustments and send them back to me, if needed. Just took awhile to find the information because even though I am kicking the tires on LR4, it was a LR1 video that gave me the infomation.

yes. This is called the Cutaway Feature.

Here is the thing I want to know :
Let's say I have a UDF (ex : U_SalesType) that is generally used in Sales Module (and also appear in every Sales Forms).
Then I want to create a formatted search in Sales Quotation and Sales Order with a condition related to the value from the UDF U_SalesType.
Is it possible just to write the formatted search query globally : SELECT * FROM TABLE WHERE Field=$[$U_SalesType.0.0] so I can use this formatted search query either in Sales Quotation or Sales Order
Instead of : creating 2 different queries only to define the condition (the WHERE clause) regarding to each Sales Form (OQUT or ORDR) as below :
-In Sales Quotation : SELECT * FROM TABLE WHERE Field=$[OQUT.U_SalesType.0.0]
-In Sales Order : SELECT * FROM TABLE WHERE Field=$[ORDR.U_SalesType.0.0]

Dear Flo,
Welcome you post on the forum.
It is not possible to use $[$U_UDFField.0.0\]. It is not in correct format.
You can use either $[$Item.column.type\] or $[table.field.type\].
Unless you can find the UDF's column info in the form, you have to create FMS by different table name on each form.
If you always create order from quotation, you only need one FMS on quotation.

It's possible to use a hot spot connection but its not recommended. The connection isn't reliable.

Only my pictures transferred from camera not the videos why

I finally set up my camera to transfer with wifi and it only transferred the pictures not the videos....why? (Model: powershot sx510 hs wi-fi)

Is your transfer software set up to look for video as well as photos? Usually video and photos are in two separate folders on the memory card, so you'll need to make sure the software knows where to look for the videos.
What software are you using for the transfer? What operating system is the computer?

it is, but not as straightforward as with standard graphs.
As a starting point take a look at the example shipped with LV: Modified Smith Plot with Zooming.vi; you find it in picture examples.

I got my Macbook Air (Mid 2013 model) last month and I want to record my acoustic-electric guitar on Garageband (which came with the Air).
I don't want to buy a guitar that has a USB. I have a cable with a 3.5 mm headphone jack on both ends like the one pictured here on this website http://www.bestdealaz.com/item.php?id=628 (i didn't buy it from this site though).
I connected a 6.3 mm guitar adapter (http://www.ebay.com/bhp/headphone-guitar-adapter) to this cable. Then I connected one end of the cable to my guitar and the other end to the Headphone/Microphone jack on the left side of the MBA.
I saw how other people were saying to go to System Preferences / Sound and then change audio output to audio input.
I can't do that. I tried.

When using a personal dropbox account, is it possible to use the mapped drive without downloading all my dropbox files to my hard drive as well?

When using a personal (not business) dropbox account on my mac book pro, is it possible to use the mapped drive only? Currently I have dropbox mapped to my computer but it is also saving a redundant copy of the data on my hard drive. My goal is to pull, edit and save files on the mapped drive only without having a redundant back up of all my dropbox files on my computer wasting valuable storage space. Any advice out there? Both of those are linking to the 'local copy' of Dropbox. It is not a true 'network' drive as far as I can see (it still requires the local copy on the PC).
Another video suggests using another service to mount the Dropbox, but that is not using Dropbox anymore, it is going through Otixo…

Dropbox does not provide easy to use URL's to mount as a network disk so I don't think this is possible on OS X.

You may need to examine the Windows computers carefully - if they have Dropbox installed & running then all the files are stored on the local machine in addition to the 'mapped drive'.
It looks to me like people are 'redirecting' the local copy to appear like a remote disk just so they can address that path on other machines - each PC is being setup the same. You could create aliases on OS X, but it doesn't help move files off the machine.
Hopefully someone else will contradict me, but I don't think this is how Dropbox works.

I bought the T8000-Notebook with BIOS-Version 8.30. Now I want to upgrade my harddisk to a 80 GB device. Is this possible and is it afterwards possible to use the whole 80 GB or does the mainboard only detect less than the 80 GB?
Is it only possible to build in a harddisk from Toshiba or can I also take a harddisk from an other manufacturer?
Do I have to make a BIOS-Update?
