Is it really possible to connect a iPod Nano to a itrip etc?

I heard that it is possible to connect the nano to the iRiver aft-100 fm transmitter.
I this true?
have somebody tried it?
if it works just fine, i will buy one!

Any FM tranmitter will work with the nano as long as it doesn't require the headphone remote port which the nano doesn't have. The iTrip requires this port.

No special configuration is required, just put your PS3 to look for the router and its done.

  • Connecting two ipod nanos

it is possible to connect two ipod nanos to the PC to transfer music or videos from one to one???
    i have ipod nano 4G
and my friend has ipod nano 3G
    waiting your reply.

You can connect two iPods to the one computer, yes. However, you can't take files from an iPod and put it on another computer or iPod normally. There are some programs that allow you to take the files off an iPod and put them on a computer, but I don't think you can transfer directly from iPod to iPod.
To connect the two iPods to the one PC, you need the connector cable for both of them - one cable will not do. The cable is white, and it has a USB and an iPod connector. It's the cable you use to connect the iPod to your PC normally. Put both of the cables in a different USB slot, and you're set.
If one of the iPods is not 'registered' to the correct computer, you can click the 'Cancel' button and keep the iPod plugged in. I hope you understand what I mean.
I've never used a program to get files from the iPod to a PC, but I know of a couple. Here's a list of a few names I know :
    Xilisoft iPod Rip
    iPodCopy
    4Media iPod to PC
You can find those three on Cnet's Download website (http://www.download.com). They're all for Windows - I never checked if you have a Mac. I don't think any of them are free, but I didn't check.

  • Can I connect my Ipod Nano to my sound system with amplifier

Is it possible to connect my Ipod nano to my sound system which has an amplifier. If so any problem will occur to my ipod nano.

The usual way of doing this is to buy the universal dock, then use the line out jack on the dock to connect to your amp via a cable that has a mini jack (like the one on your headphones) at one end and 2 RCA phono plugs at the other end (to connect to line in sockets on your amp).
You can do this direct from the headphone socket on the iPod instead of buying the dock, but personally I don't think the sound quality is as good this way.

  • Is it possible to find the serial of the last connected device (iPod Nano) in itunes?

Is it possible to find the serial of the last connected device (iPod Nano) in itunes? Was stolen, trying to get info on my device.

iTunes will only show the serial number for iOS devices backed up using iTunes (and the iPod nano is not an iOS device). For alternative ways to find the serial number, see:
    On your iPod packaging
If you still have the original packaging for your iPod, you can find your serial number on the barcode label that's affixed to the packaging.
On your iPod invoice or receipt
Some retailers may include the serial number of your iPod on the receipt.
    Online at My Support Profile
If you used your Apple ID to register or purchase your iPod, you may find the serial number listed in My Support Profile (available in the United States and Canada). Log in with your Apple ID and find your iPod in the My Products box on the main page:
From iPod: How to find the serial number.

Hello, is it possible to connect a iPod shuffle 4 to a car BMW ? What kind of cables do I need ?

Is there an AUX port?  If so, you can by the necessary auxillary cable.  It won't work with the USB port connection.

  • Is it possible to connect your ipod touch to a computer that doesn't have iTunes installed on it?

My computer that I usually use has recently died and I cannot access my iTunes.
Is it possible to connect my ipod touch to a computer that does not have iTunes just so that I can get my content off my ipod?

    Hello,
    What you mean by content?
But anyways you will need to install iTunes to the other computer for syncing/backuping etc.
Just download and install on the other computer.
And if it's not a HDD problem with you old computer you can maybe get back even some backups if you had.
    Hope it helps,

  • Is it possible to dock an ipod nano 7?

Is it possible to dock an ipod nano 7?

It was disturbing to find out the new and expensive nano was incompatable with all older ipod connectors, and also that there was no direct solution -- no apple dock that has a lightning connector.
I bought a docking station ($60+) and a 30 to lightning converter ($30+), both from Apple.  It all looks fine and pretty, and the ipod7 nano charges, but it doesn't play.  There is a loud humming sound -- as if no connection from these standard apple parts. Obviously, the Apple 30 to lightning converter doesn't really work.
The design of the nano-7 is also awkward -- although one would like to plug in the audio cable to the nano, because the lightning connector and the audio jack are on the same side, but there is not enough room between the dock and the device to plug in the cable.  I suppose I can spend another $30 on some version of a cable that has a right-hand connection.
A final problem is that when the nano-7 volume is turned up, it disorts when played through an ordinary stereo.  Must be overloading the output or input.
All in all, engineering of the nano-7 could be more ergonomic and also better thought through. Not what one would expect from a very expensive device, in the 7th version, from Apple.  Perhaps got pushed out before it was really done.

  • Is there any way to connect an iPod nano (Fifth Generation) to an older Mac

I am looking to get a new iPod nano to replace my Mum's Third Generation iPod. However, she has an older iMac G4 with USB 1.1 ports. Is it possible to make the iPod nano work on this machine? Is it possible to get an adaptor to connect the device to either the FireWire or Ethernet port? Or can the iPod be fooled into thinking the USB 1.1 port is actually a USB 2.0 port? She really doesn't care if syncing is slow.

There are no adaptors to convert from USB to Firewire.
Syncing might not only be slow, it could time out so you may need to manually manage the music on her computer and load a small set of songs at a time. You probably will not be able to load movies, etc. and even photos could cause a time out.
Is your Mum's old iMac possibly running Panther (10.3.9). If it is she won't be able to use the 5th Gen Nano at all.

  • TS1363 on connecting my ipod nano it is recognised by my computor but not in i.tunes?

For some reason when connecting my ipod nano to my computor, it is recognised by my computor, but not by itunes. I have followed the procedures
under the apple help , troubleshooting etc.which did not resolve the issue. Norton security have investigated the problem which included deleting the program
which made no difference.I can only assume the problem is a faulty ipod ir a problem with I tunes. Any ideas please.

Which procedures or Apple support documents have you already looked at?  It would help us narrow down what other possible solutions/troubleshooting to offer.

  • I have created an iTunes account on my current computer for my daughters ipod touch and tried connecting my ipod nano and it won't sync and says that it is associated with another iTunes library so how do I merge the two libraries?

I have created an iTunes account on my current computer for my daughters ipod touch and tried connecting my ipod nano and it won't sync and says that it is associated with another iTunes library so how do I merge the two libraries?

    You do not merge libraries.
iDevices sync to one and only one computer.
If you want a single library, you manually move the content from one library to another... all content will still be associated with the Apple ID it was acquired with.

I can't connect my iPod nano 6th gen to iTunes 11.1. It keeps saying 'it could not be identified properly". I've tried all the steps on troubleshooting page but nothing's successful. Anybody got some help?

I found I had the same problem so I uninstalled iTunes, Apple Mobile Device Support, and Apple Application Support and then redownloaded the latest version of iTunes which reinstalled everything I uninstalled and I was able to sync my 1st Gen iPad and my 3rd Generation Nano with iTunes 11.1
