  • Phone calling with dial pad BIG issue!

So today I finally called a phone number by using the dial pad. The problem I am having is when I dial (555-555-5555) and hit send the phone rings the last phone number called (like using redial). So I end call and the dial pad returns, I then have to dial (555-555-5555) again to get the phone to call the right number. This has happened with several different phone numbers.  I have Android version 4.0.2 and this can be reproduced. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have a fix?
    Thanks

Problem solved. It's relatied to Connector. Changed to type of dialing, solved.
    Thanks.

  • Is it safe to charge iPhone 5 in the car?

I just got the new iPhone 5 in white!! And I'm wondering if it is safe to charge it in your car. I've had android Phones in the past that had major battery issues and sprint thought that maybe it stemmed from the fact that I would charge them in my car. Granted I also used really cheap car chargers In the past with those android phones. it seems like thats one product apple itself doesn't make, so I'm wondering if it would be safe, and what brand of charger would you recommend, if any at all, thanks! liz
On another note, has anyone Experienced problems sending picture mail through MMS, mine just won't do it.

    likely they were just guessing
when it comes to charging then the only! thing that matter is the volt level
if one charge a device which was made to charge by 5volts with 12Volts it's big trouble
    nothing else can give issues

  • Is it safe to charge my iPhone 6 Plus with a 5.3V / 2.5A battery pack?

    I have a 13,000mAh mobile charger with two usb outputs. One with 5.3V / 1A, the other with 5.3V / 2.5A
is it safe to charge my iPhone 6 Plus with the larger output or should I avoid it? Thanks!

The USB spec says that a USB port must provide 5 volts +- 0.5 volts, or 4.5 volts to 5.5 volts. So 5.3 volts is OK and within spec. As Rudegar says, the current is irrelevant as long as it is at least 1 amp. More is better, up to 1.6 amps for a 6 series phone. Above 1.6 won't do any harm, but won't help either. BTW, the max that a 5 or earlier iPhone can use is 1 amp. Again, more won't hurt, but won't help either.

  • Is it safe to charge an iPhone overnight using a USB port on a surge protector?

I just bought a new surge protector that has two USB ports built in. I know it is safe to charge an iPhone using the USB ports on a computer, and it is safe to charge an iPhone using the supplied power adapter. However, I have heard that the supplied power adapter (the brick) that comes with the phone automatically stops charging the iPhone when it reaches 100%. I normally leave my iPhone charging overnight. So my question is, would it be safe to charge my iPhone overnight via the built in USB port on my new surge protector? Or should i continue using the power adapter that it came with?
This is the surge protector i purchased.

Yes, it's safe. The phone is actually what stops the charging.

  • Is it safe to charge iphone with HTC charger?

I'm in travel now and I haven't access to my charger. is it safe to charge my iphone with HTC or sonyErricson charger. the cable connector is with me.

Hey I have done this in person it works but only if you have a mophine iPhone battery case then you can use the htc charger on the case's mini USB port and it actually charges the case and the iPhone! The case only works for 4&4s devices.
The above is a method I currently use, any other working methods would be nice to know as I also have this question.

  • I got my magsafe 2 60w is it safe to charge macbook pro retina 15 pouces

I get my magsafe 2 60w is it safe to charge macbook pro retina  15 pouces

It's not a good idea to use a lower wattage power supply than what the machine shipped with. The 15" comes with an 85 watt adapter and that's what you should be using. You can go in the other direction with no problem, like using an 85 watt on a machine that came with a 60. If I were you, I go get the correct charger.

As output voltage is correct, charging is safe. It will charge about twice as fast as compared to its own charger.

  • Is it safe to charge ipad in Europe on converter

Is it safe to charge an ipad in Europe on a converter?

You don't need a converter to charge iPad in Europe.  It is able to charge on either 220 or 110.  What you do need however, is a plug converter, which would let you plug your iPad power charger into a plug in Europe.

  • Safe to charge iPhone 4 from surge protector being powered by 1000w generator?

Is it safe to charge my iPhone 4 from a generator (1000w) on an extension cord. My USB adapter is plugged into a surge protector from the generator.

If it's a third-party accessory, nobody here can be 100% certain if it will work safely.
The only way to find out is to try it yourself, but do so at your own risk.
I would suggest looking online for reviews of your exact product to see what others say about the charger.

  • Safe to Charge on PS2?

Is it safe to charge my iPod on my PS2?

You could, but you would have to have your PS2 on in order to charge the ipod, so unless you will be doing a lengthy gaming session, it would be pretty hard on the PS2 to run it as a charger, since it's fan would be running even if it was just sitting there.
I would say you'd be better off with a cheap 3rd party usb charger. I got one that has both usb and FW ports for about $20.

  • MagSafe safe 2 charger early 2015

MagSafe safe 2 charger for early 2015 MacBook Pro flashes with a green light connected.. What is wrong? It is a new macbook never charged before

Start by checking the Troubleshooting MagSafe article, and note the suggestion to unplug the charger and let it rest for a minute and try again: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203207
If none of the tips help, take the MagSafe charger and MacBook Pro to an Apple store genius bar and have the technicians check it out, the green light should be a steady green instead of flashing.
