Is it still RJ11 from the BT Filter to the modem ?...

Having the service put in approx 1.5 weeks and just wanted to know if the cable from the master socket to the router is still an rj11 cable ?
Reason for asking is I have an extension cable in use at the mo ?

Gutenprint drivers are intended for non-laser printers. HP supplies the proper drivers, and you can download the latest version directly from HP's support site. Or you can install the most recent HP drivers provided by Apple.
Printing speeds do not include the time it may take to transfer data to the printer. It also doesn't take into account the time it takes for the printer to be prepared to start printing. Color is much slower than B/W.
Contact HP for any additional assistance you may need since these forums do not provide support for non-Apple products. -
On Pages 09. Error Message "Missing Font" - text on all my files/Documents has disappeared. I know it is still there from the word count - but it is invisible. Any clues Gratefully received.

so i cant download itunes cuz of some patenting control on the computer and i needed to restore it . so went on icloud (find my phone,ipod etc) and restored it and my ipod is not turning on but ist is still buffering from the past 10 mins
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Dragging a large still image from the browser into the viewer crashes FCP
Okay, I've not seen this problem until just a couple days ago but was wondering if it was just me or if everyone has this problem? I've found a work-around, but let me explain the problem first.
I'm creating a growing up photo montage. I scanned all of the pictures myself at 300 dpi (as I've always done in the past) and saved them as TIF files. Some pictures as relatively small, i.e. 3.5 mb is size and do just fine, but it appears anytime I drop a picture into the viewer in preparation for the the timeline, it will crash FCP if the image file is any larger than about 5 or 5.5 MB. Now I know there is a limit on the resolution of a still and it shouldn't be any larger than 4000 pixels in either direction, but that is not my problem, the problem appears to occur with large files. I've used large still files before in past projects without any problem, so this is why I'm stumped. I've went as far as trashing my preferences, but that didn't change anything. I've even tested a still image from a past project that was something around 9 MB (or was it 19 mb?) in any case, it also crashed FCP but... I've used that picture before in past projects without any problem. I even created a new test project just in case my project file itself had a problem.
My work-around is to simply drop the still image from the browser directly into the timeline, thus bypassing the viewer. This works every time without a hitch. I can even double-click on the still now setting in the timeline to load it into the viewer so I can add effects or keyframes or whatever without any problems (thank goodness). So, has anyone else experienced this problem or is it just me?Is this image saved in a colorspace mode that is anything other than RGB?

Unless you plan on panning and zooming your images, the best procedure is to use one of the video preset templates in Photoshop and paste your content into it. Scale and position using the Transform controls. For best results save as a TIFF without compression. Don't forget, always in RGB colorspace. -
The front headphone jack on my new mac pro desktop computer does not transmit sound when connecting a headphone or ear buds. The sound still comes from the speakers and is not redirected to the head phone. The port has never worked. Any solutions?
okay, try option-clicking on the speaker icon on the top of your screen. That should bring up a list of sound output options. including headphone. You could try messing around with Audio MIDI. It may be possible that the thing is still stuck inside the headphone jack. Careful use of a toothpick may get it unstuck. I dunno, I've never had a problem with the headphone jack. If all else fails, call Apple or take 'er in for an appointment

I have a modem, and a separate (hard wired from modem) router in a part of my house that gets poor reception from the modem.My iPad won't connect to the auxillary router like my laptop does with ease. How do I get the iPad to connect? It does see the router in my wi-fi connections list - just won't connect. !

WRT54GS v4 developed increasing lag, now it can't get an IP from the modem at all.
I am connected wirelessly to my WRT54GS v4 over WPA2, and it's worked very well for years. About 2 days ago, the router started developing serious lag. Some web pages (CNN, Google, etc) would time out only to work OK 10 seconds later (or not.) A traceroute to the offending domain would show my second hop as timing out, with all other hops < 80ms. Sometimes I'd get 3 webpages (all on different sites) hanging at the same time, only to finally display 20 seconds later simultaneously.
That was all on firmware 1.06.1. I just upgraded successfully to 1.06.3, with absolutely no change. I held reset for more than 30 seconds with no change.
The router looks like it can't get an IP from the modem at all. Clicking the DHCP Renew button in the web interface just bounces back to the same page but doesn't show that it's picked up a valid IP address.
If I plug into my cable modem directly from my laptop, the connection is awesomely fast with zero hangs or hesitation.

I also remembered that I had been resetting my cable modem (by power-cycling it) once or twice a day because it was losing its signal. I wonder if that was part of the problem? -
In iMovie '09, how can I capture a still picture from the video?
I have a movie that i got into iMove and I did edit it down and make a nice video from it I uploaded to YouTube. I want to know if there is any easy way to get stills from the video. when I run my cursor over the movie and get it on a person that I want to make into a still photograph is there a way to get that single piece out?
If I locate the part of the film I want as a still then try and do a screen capture, when i move the cursor to do the capture the pic in the movie changes as I move the cursor. (hope i'm making sense).
So is there a way to grab a single frame?
SusanTwo ways to get a still:
1) In project, move cursor to the frame. Right-click/add freeze frame. The Freeze frame is placed right behind the current clip in the project.
2) Select a frame in an Event. Right-click/Add still frame to project. The still is added to the project at the end.
(after doing either 1 or 2, continue with step 3)
3) Right-click on the still frame in your project. Select "Reveal in Finder". Drag the JPEG file that you see and drop it on the iPhoto icon in the Dock.
Hint: You can create a new project just for the stills. This way you will not clutter up an existing project. -
Ipad needs resetting but because it's second hand the password from the previous owner is still on it and I do not know it, is there anyway around this so I can take all the data off? It's urgent because it is being used as a gift next week!
The previous owner should have reset it back to factory defaults before selling it. What iOS version is the iPad on (Settings > General > About > Version), and has the previous owner left him/herself logged in in Settings > iCloud with Find My iPad enabled on that screen ? If it's on iOS 7 and Find My iPad is enabled then you should contact the previous owner and ask them to remove the iPad from their account, otherwise you or the recipient of the gift will have problems with activation lock : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515

Earlier this week, I updated my Mac Book to Snow Leopard and am now having printing problems. I have an HP Photosmart D110. I have downloaded and installed the driver update. I have deleted and re-installed the printer. I have run the wireless network test (everything passed). I configured th settings on the HP EPrint website. I have shut down and re-started the computer several times. I checked for software updates.
The printer is *recognized* on the Mac Book, iPhone and the iPad. It shows up under the SysPref menu. I have been able to print coupons from the Coupons.com app using the iPhone and iPad, but I can't print from the computer itself. The printer icon opens and it indicates the document was sent but nothing comes out. I'm not sure what I'm missing?!http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907

Delete Constraint is displayed but record is still removed from the VO
Scenario (ADF UIX Struts):
I select a record in my table and then the delete button. In the Entity Object's doDML method I catch the database foreign key constraint violation and throw a new JboException with a user friendly message to display on my page. The selected record is not deleted from the database which is correct but the record is removed from the ViewObject. Is there anything I can do to retain the record in the ViewObject?

My iPhone 3GS does not appear on the source list or in windows so I cannot sync it to my itunes. However the device is charging and the cable used works well as I often use it to charge all of my devices. I have tried this on multiple computers and it does not work on either which suggests to me it is a problem due to my itunes account settings or something. How can I make my device recognised? You cannot manually manage music with match turned on on your iOS device. If you want to manage music manually, you will need to turn off match on your iPhone.
