Is it true that the 32GB iPhone is capable of 17 straight hours of video

Recording??
37 Minutes uses a GB of HD space in my calculations...

UPDATE: From all of my research, i have concluded that 1 hours video is 60mb. So in theory you can record video for 266.6 hours. But obviously the battery wont last beyond 4 or 5 hours. So my conclusion is that you can record video until the battery runs out. Which will last longer in airplane mode. Hope this helps.
So the answer to your original question is NO. Because the battery won't last anywhere near 17 hours. maybe 4 or 5. which is still very good.

  • Is it true that the white iPhone breaks faster than the black?

Curious , I want the white one , but then I'm hearing then the black doesn't break as easy .

I don't think anyone can say for sure... there are slight differences in how they manufacture the glass for the white color vs black... but in my opinion there is NO difference onhow easily they'd break.
There are also some great warranty's that cover damage and even liquid spills and full immersion you could purchase for pretty cheap that can ease your mind...

No. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch!
I've no idea whether you've had an enticing email or seen a splash banner on a website, but if you need to ask then I think it is clear there will be some kind of scam going on... Switch to ignore mode.

Had 3G, moved to 3GS.  Backed up 3G and restored 3GS from backup with no problem on a Dell computer.  But now when I want to add songs, I get itunes message of death that the new iphone is synced to another computer and now wants to erase everything.  How can I add music without erasing everything on my new iphone?

Yes, I was aware of this but the phrase "Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library." is what worries me.  Will this eliminate my Notes, Calendar Events, etc or will it apply mostly just to the music?

  • Is true that I need to charge my ipod 5G 12 hours for the first time?

Is true that I need to charge my ipod 5G 12 hours for the first time? Help me please

No, you need to charge until the battery shows it is fully charged...that can take only a couple hours depending on how far you have discharged it.  You do not need to discharge the iPod all the way and then recharge...plug it in when convenient and top up that battery.  Plug it in at night so it is charged in the morning.
You cannot overcharge the battery, the charging circuit shutsdown when the battery is fully charged so you cannot harm it leaving it plugged in.

  • Is it true that the new imac has a touch screen feature?

is it true that the new imac has a touch screen feature?

No, it is not true. There are third-party resellers that modify iMacs to add a touch screen, but the iMac as shipped by Apple does not have a touch screen.

  • Is it true that the ipod touch 5th gen bends on its own? I mean if i put it in my front pocket or in my bag?

so I just got a new itouch 5g cause a lot of people said it was great and they've said that it has a stronger build than that of the 4g. So is it true that if I put my touch in my front pocket it will bend on its own? cosidering that maybe I wear pants that have tight pockets.

I've not seen any objective comparisons that tested the bend resistance, so I can't offer any sort of opinion. I would expect either iPod to be subject to bending if kept in your pocket when you sit down. That's a lot of stress and leverage. I've even seen keys bend, and they're harder to bend than an electronic device.
My advice; don't keep your iPod in your pocket.

  • Is it true that the notification center will only show Calendar events occuring within the next 24 hours?  If not, how do I set it up to show more?

I have an 4s running IOS 5.1.1.  I have set my Calendar to appear in the Notification Center and have set it to show the next 5 events.  When I look at my NC, though, it only shows two events.  I found a random posting on a forum that suggested that the NC will only show events 24 hours at a time.  Is this correct?  Is there any way to work around it?  If this is true, it makes the NC totally useless.
    Thanks.

  • Is it true that The new ipad intolerably hot?

I saw herad that the new ipad is every hot after being run it for about 40 minutes. Is that true?

Saying its not true is an attempt to blanket the whole issue.
It is indeed true but it doesn't apply to all units saying they get just warm and not hot. I owned 2 new iPads with that are extremely hot to the touch (running Retina apps especially) as compared to regular notebooks running GPU intensive activities. The second unit goes very close to 60 celsius, verified and exchanged. I ended up with a 3rd unit that runs moderately high GPU utilisation apps at +/-35 Celsius (which then Apple gives an option to refund for heat based issues) which qualifies for an exchange but on the other hand, it runs at approximately 30 Celsius after long usage.
I'm using the 3rd unit for a week already and I'm quite neutral on the overall round up of this iPad. I'm monitoring further if there are ocassions the iPad battery drains as its producing temperature that's beyond the battery's rating of 35 Celsius.
If that's the case, I'll get an iPad 2.
    The iPads are from pr

  • Is it true that the 6300 is such a problem that...

...its been removed from the nokia software updater?
There are posts that suggest this is correct, and yet nokia folks are recommending using it and not aware!
    /rxxx

...features that are most important to me are that the device does what it says in the product description.
It should continue to do this with bone crushing regularity and repeatability during a reasonable lifecycle, (I'd guess this to be approx 3 yrs), and any manufacturer that can't deliver this needs to look at both the design and production processes.
Thus - 6300 should maintain contact, allow editing of contacts via the devise rather than resorting to sych with a PIM, plus the other features that are flaky (not being able to turn it off until sw upgraded to v5.5, battery life degrading rapidly from initial purchase etc etc)
As the consumer I'll make the trade offs between form, functionality and price, but I expect any reputable device manufacturer to deliver products (integrated HW & SW) that will 'do what it says on the tin', simply reliably and consistently.
Is this too much to ask of Nokia?

  • Is it true that the new MacBook Pro retinas got issues with latency?

I'm thinking of ordering the late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina 15 inch, with 2.6 Ghz, 16GB RAM , 512SSD
I'm gonna use it mainly for live keys sounds using mainstage, logic, omnisphere, ableton etc. After reading a forum, I found that the new macs are pretty bad with latency, is this gonna be a big problem...suggestions?

We don't know. Anything you see on a rumor site like Apple Insider is just that - rumor. No one knows when new models will be released until Apple makes a public announcement. If you wish to base your decisions on the rumor mill then do so, but we cannot tell you whether they are valid or not.

  • Is it true that new Facebook update can drain your data if you leave video On setting

Let me make myself a little clearer. on your iphone under settings you can find the facebook settings page. if you click on settings under logo you will see chat box. video box, and notifications. I was told that the new update from Fcebook automatically sets itself up as On which will run all the time and eat up your celluar date. Is this true? so you must switch it to wi-fi only to save your data.

Yes, but not half off. If you bring your older iPod into your local Apple store, you'll get a 10% discount towards the purchase of a newer model.

    Apple please confirm or deny?

Hi Joe. Here is an official statement from AT&T.

As of Tuesday afternoon, customers who preorder iPhone 4 moving forward will receive their device on June 25 or later, depending on when the order is placed. We'll email customers with confirmation once their order is placed, and again when it ships. In addition, we will have devices available on a first-come, first-serve basis in our stores beginning on June 24."
