Is iTunes 11.1 buggy on a PC? Ever since I upgraded, I can't log into the iTunes store and iTunes says that I have no internet connection.

Ever since I upgraded because of iOS7 on my iPhone, now my iTunes no longer can connect to the internet and my Home Sharing has been cut. Is anyone else having these issues?  I tried the "DNS Flush" trick but itunes still won't budge.

Yes, after updating to iTunes 11.1.0,126 no Internet was available any longer on WLAN nor LAN interfaces (Windows 8 64bit version). WLAN interface still has connection to the router (on low level) but on higher protocol level no connectivity exist).

Just follow the procedure, hence go to the "device manager", look for neworkadaper and de-install LAN and WLAN drivers. Reboot the PC/Laptop and Windows will install the driver(s) again and at the same time repair the mess produced by Apple.
This issue occured only on one of our family Laptop but not on a 2nd. Laptob nor PC.

    In the meantime, make sure you're logging in with the same Apple ID and that the new computer is authorized with that iTunes account.

    I am afraid all apps are tied to the Apple ID they are purchased with and are not transferable.
    Your son have to buy those apps with his own Apple ID and start from scratch.

    Whenever I log into the iTunes store on my Windows PC I am asked to enter my credit card security code, this is annoying but now all of my devices ask for the same information.  The trigger seems to be access from another device.  Should I deathorize all accounts and then reauthorize them?

    Make an appointment at the genius bar.
    If you went without an appointment, then it would make sense that you could be turned away.

    I was struggling with creating an account without a credit card at first and then someone on here suggested I create my account through the actual website and I log onto the website without any trouble and onto Game Center, just nowhere else. It says "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store." and asks me to review my account information but when I click on review, it completely ignores my request.     The reason i asked this question is because i have been wondering this a lot ever since i got an exchange on this ipod (and ive only had it for a few weeks now) because my last ipod had a lot of problems. so after i restored my ipod with my computer/itunes, i downloaded apps that i wanted, and then when i went to the storage to see how much storage was left, it said 0 bytes. i was freaking out because i didnt know how that could be, i mean, cause like, that is impossible when i just 'purchased' it, that the space was full but i looked and all my pictures were on this ipod and i already put them on my computer so i dont need them anymore thats why i wanna reset it now so there is nothing on it so i can have more space for stuff to do and download on it.

    Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go.     You cannot use that ID without a credit card. You did not create your account correctly. There is very specific way in which you must create your account if you do not want to use a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you will have to start all over again.
    1. You will have to sign out of that ID before you can create a new one. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID>Sign out.
    2. You cannot use the email address that you used for the first ID that you created. You will need to use another email address now
    3. You have to download a free app in order to start the new Apple ID process.

    Go up to the top of your screen on iTunes and click on 'Store'.  Then go down to 'Authorize This Computer'.  That should cover part of it unless you've already authorized a bunch of other computers to use your account.  If that's the case, you'll have to go to one of those computers and click the button just below it to 'deauthorize your account' from that computer.  If you're not able to access the store, check your internet connection to make sure you are connected.  Hope this helps.. good luck!

Everything was working fine until a couple of weeks ago when i restarted it by holding down the sleep button and the home button for 10 seconds. This will transfer the new account information to the mobile device."
    You could always sign-in to your account on another computer, but the sync requirement would cause you problems.
