Is iTunes store still down?

Is iTunes store still down...continue getting an error message to try again later.

Yes everyone, The Apple store is under work. They are redesigning everything for the new update IOS 8. This should be fixed soon. They said maybe 1-2 days.

It seems like I cannot connect my Ipad2 to the Itunes store..thus not allowing me to set up my Ipad

I can update apps on my iphone, but cannot download new apps.  I get the message "Cannot Connect to the iTunes store".  Anyone else with the same problem. Has been ongoing for a few weeks.  I can download new apps to my PC.

  • TS1424 I have already downloaded wrath of the titans and watched it through but a download of the movie in the iTunes store still remains and also keeps timing out? This is preventing me from downloading any other movies onto my iPad any suggestions?

I have already downloaded wrath of the titans and watched it through but a download of the movie in the iTunes store still remains and also keeps timing out? This is preventing me from downloading any other movies onto my iPad any suggestions?

no, i had to leave so i logged out and when i opened itunes on my mac and went into the downloads tab it only had one paused download listed. i resumed the download for the one movie listed and the other one never showed up. its been about two weeks since i initially bought the two movies so i figured something was wrong.

  • Does the iTunes Store still have $4.99 movies?

Does the iTunes Store still have $4.99 movies? If they do, how do you find them? It seems that the iTunes Store no longer links to discounted movies.

Thanks to Jesse M for the "See all >>" suggestion, which is better than nothing, and to iNexxFear for all your hard work, but I absolutely need the search results to come up with full functionality. The possibility of searching painstakingly by separate categories for Composer, Album etc. merely puts me at the mercy of the overworked, undereducated interns who have to type in such information, unaided of course by iTunes' hopelessness at categorising anything other than pop songs.
However, I've found a fantastic solution of my own. It's called Amazon. Only 69p a track. Searching isn't perfect, but it's far better than this appalling leap backwards by Apple.
Yes, I'm upset. But I see the thin end of a wedge that's turning Apple into Microsoft.

  • Is itunes store temporarily down?

I have been having problems downloading the new episode of the Legend of Korra! Is anyone else having this problem? It keeps saying that the itunes store is down, if so when is it going to be back up?

I am experiencing this problem as well. It's rather frustrating.

  • Changed feed and deleted old account.  iTunes Store still showing deleted content?

I was a former use of Podomatic and published my RSS feed to iTunes in order to publish my podcasts.  I am now publishing to iTunes direct from my webserver via software "Feed For All" that I purchased.  iTunes approved the changed URL RSS feed and it's working fine in the iTunes store.  All that is available via the Feed for All URL is being published by iTunes, so that's not the problem.  The problem lays in that I deleted my Podomatic account approximately 7 days ago, and iTunes Store still shows the Podomatic content ... i.e., unplayable and not working podcasts as well as the avatar from my Podomatic account.
How long does it take for iTunes to strip out the old Podomatic stuff?
    Thank you.
    Rachael

His content will only be where he put it.
Has he copied his content from his old comptuer to the new one?

  • ITunes Store USA Down?

I logged onto iTunes today with the new version 7.0.2 to download a particular song. I started noticing problems finding the albums and songs I have downloaded before when I noticed that everything was in Yen and my country was set to Japan. As I have been reading the forums I am not the only one where the default store country has changed. I goto the bottom as instructed and click the flag for USA and it tells me that the requested iTunes store is unavailable. I can switch to a few other countries but am unable to pull up the USA Store. Is this down for anyone else?

Re-read my original message. Been there, done that. Got it to work momentarily... now its back to not working. I was finally able to log onto the USA store without the error message saying "Requested store is unavailable" however there are still bands that are not there that i KNOW are on iTunes as i have downloaded them before. (Marvelous 3 is one im searching for now. Have downloaded in the past, cant find them now). Looks like some server problems in Apple Land.

  • I purchased a song from the itunes store and down loaded it to my ipod. The song will not play. I attempted to listen to it on my computer and itunes asked me to authorize my computer. I did so and it told me I authorized one out of five computers .

I purchased a song from the itunes store and downloaded it to my ipod and it will not play what happens now?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

  • TS4123 After following ALL apple advise, iTunes store still will not run....

After exhausting all suggestions on the iTunes pages, I still can not get access to the iTunes store. All software is up to date & iTunes has been uninstalled & re-installed with no effect. All functions of the player are fine, but there is no access to the store or the updater. I have also used the "autoruns" program suggested with no help there either.

  • Is the itunes store currently down for anyone else?

I currently cannot activate my phone because the itunes store cannot be accessed.  Is anyone else having this problem?

The servers are getting slammed. Bunch of people trying to download iOS7 at the same time.
There is a chance activation servers might be down/slow for now. Just keep trying throughout the day.

  • ITunes Store is DOWN for the last four hours

WTH is going on? It is down. Completely. I googled this and I see it's happening in numerous parts of the USA.
It's been down since this morning (Thursday the 8th). Nothing is wrong with my internet. Anything else I need or want to do is fine. ONLY the iTunes Store is not respondong.

  • Trying to access iTunes Store shuts down iTunes

When I try to access the itunes store from my laptop it says "iTunes has stopped working". I have been through the discussion board and saw a few similar questions and tried their solutions and it still has not worked for me.
    I have a HP G42 laptop running windows 7
    I have iTunes 10.5.3 installed
My anti virus software is Norton 360 and I added iTunes to be allowed
I changed the pop-up blocker settings
Is there anything else I can do to fix this?

    hiya!
you've got a standard 32-bit version. the x64 version has an "x64" mentioned in that screen. for a little more info on that, see:
    http://www.ittvis.com/services/techtip.asp?ttid=4040
i was checking, because the error message you were getting was very similar to one folks can get if they've got a problem with their QuickTime on an x64 PC. itunes needs a functioning QT to work correctly, and a broken QT can cause problems with viewing the Music Store too.
try to open your QuickTime. does it launch properly, or do you get an error message?
if you get an error message, the first thing we'll try is a careful standalone QT 7.1 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
    Quicktime 7.1 Standalone Installer
if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)
    love, b

  • There is no "Deauthorize all computers" from the iTunes store drop down menu (12.0.1.26 latest version)

Just purchased a new iMac and somehow all of my licenses are consumed between existing/old computers and I am not allowed to synch my iTunes library using Match.  Looking at the on-line help provides guidance to choose a "deauthorize all computers" option from the Store drop down in iTunes but I only have these options:
Obviously, I need to figure out how to do this and then reauthorize from each of my 5 machines.  Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks
