Is iWork free for mac for buying a new iphone 5S
Hello,
I have bought an iMac in august and an iphone 5S last week. I was able to download iWork for free for my iphone and my ipad 3. However, when I want to download iWork for my Mac it seems that I have to pay. I understood that iWork was free for buying a new idevice or mac. Could someone explain me if I can get iWork for my iMac and how?

iWork is only free for the device you have recently purchased. If you buy a new iOS device you can also install the iOS versions on your other compatible iOS devices you already own. However, this does not allow for free download of the OS X version of iWork. For that you would either need to already have previously purchased iWork '09, either from the Mac App Store or the earlier DVD, or bought a new Mac computer since 1 October (I think that's the date for eligibility).

Legality aside (I'm not a lawyer and have no opinion on the matter) in order to make a purchase of an iPhone 5 you would need to travel to a country where they are for sale and purchase it there. Be sure to get one that is officially unlocked or you would not be able to use it with your cell carrier. Be sure that your carrier supports use of the iPhone before you buy. Also note that the warranty of the iPhone is only valid in the country of purchase.
Appe does not ship outside of the countries where it sells the phones. -
Buy a new iPhone 5 will get iWork for free?
In Indonesia, iPhone 5c and 5S isn't available yet. So I will buy a new iPhone 5 in this month. According to the support page (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5913), I will get iWork for free if I purchased Apple device after September 1, 2013. Is it real or I just misunderstand that statement in support page?
Does the Premium Reseller offer a return policy? If you purchased the phone in an Apple store you could return it within 14 days for a refund. If the store you're dealing with offer this you could buy the phone and go through the setup process. You'll soon learn what version of the iOS is installed.
Given that, i would add that it is not wise to continue running iOS 6 when there are no own security flaws. iOS 7 solves those problems and adds the activation lock to prevent thieves from activating your phone should it be stolen or you lose it somehow. -
I purchased a MacBook Air in July, 2013. I have later learnt that Apple has made iWorks free for OSX Mavericks users. However, the App Store still shows the package as paid for me. I want to know a way of downloading it for free.

Connect your 3GS in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:
iOS: Unable to update or restore and iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software. -
Can I buy the new iPhone 5S in Germany and hold the warranty for in Belgium?
I want to buy the new iPhone 5S in Germany. Is there a problem when I use the iPhone in Belgium? I heard there is always a worldwide limited warranty of 1 year. Is this correct?
If I don't have problems, there is no problem. But if I have a problem with the iPhone, can I go to an official Apple store in Belgium so they can send it to any place for repair?
Apple in Belgium will handle the iPhone in exactly the same way had you purchased the iPhone in Belgium
as long as it comes from another EU country .Apple do not repair they exchange for a refurbished unit if a warranty issue or charge for an Out of Warranty exchange unit if you have damaged or caused the issue through misuse -

I feel as though I am forced into repairing the iphone before I can backup the information (photos, videos, contacts). If the apple ID on the device is the same as the one on my iMac I do not understand why I have to unlock the iphone by typing in the 4 digit passcode. This is a little ******** as having the screen break seems to be the usual prpblem with the iphone, I want to be able to backup my files when I feel the obvious need to do so (eg. when it breaks)! I also believe I shouldn't have to use other apps for backing it up (which I obviously have to pay for).. I am rather angry with this issue.Okay folkes, you were right and I was wrong.. I admit it. But I was pretty mad though when I tryed to backup the last few contacts I needed for work and couldn't do so. Worst things are when something gets broken (by me or whatever) when there is an emergency. I needed the contacts off of that phone real fast and couldn't do it, thats what got me real mad. And btw I am a Russian living in Moscow and instead of having an official Apple store we have shopes called ReStore who resell apple devices with ridiculous prices, same thing with the repairs. It is cheaper to sometimes buy a new iphone then repair an old one.. So there.. but I repaired it and now happy again with my apple device.. Also I know the itunes and icloud are free and I do back it up, this time however I couldn't use them and had to try the iphone extractor app, which is not free. There.. Where can I buy a NEW iPhone WITHOUT a service plan?

An officially unlocked one from one of the countries that sell them would also be OK, but any repair would have to be done in its original country. It would have to have been activated in some country, also. -

Unless you can find one that's been on the shelf for quite some time, it will come with iOS 7. The longer you wait, the less likely it becomes that you would be able to find one with iOS 6.

ThanksCurrently, the iPhones available in the U.S. are locked to american carriers so they cannot be used with other carriers anywhere else.
An Unlocked version of the iPhone should be released some time soon, though no actual date has been given yet.
The Unlocked phone should let you use a sim from any carrier in the phone and have it work.
However, it is up to the cell carriers in Spain wether or not they have Nano sims for sale to be used with an iPhone 5. If they do you may be able to purchase an unlocked Phone and use a sim card from a carrier in spain.
Talk to your carrier first to make sure they have Nano sims available for purchase. -
Why can't I buy the new Iphone?
Is anyone as ****** off as me that I cannot buy the new Iphone without paying $499? I purchased the first phone for $700, the second phone for $500 all on the day they came out. Now Apple will let anyone who didn't buy it before get it for $299 but I gotta pay $200 extra or wait till December. Way to **** off your core group. I plan on buying a new phone every year but if I have to wait till December I might as well wait till next June and get a phone that has 64Gigs of memory. Effectively this policy stinks and I'll spend less on apple products as a result. If anyone knows how to get a message through to the idiots who came out with this brilliant marketing strategy let me know.
The first generation iPhone was not subsidized by AT&T in the traditional way. The 8GB first generation iPhone retailed for $599 when first released, not $699, and Apple provided everyone who paid that price a $100 credit.
The iPhone 3G was/is subsidized by AT&T. Since the first generation iPhone was not subsidized by AT&T in the traditional way, all subscribers who purchased and activated a first generation iPhone qualified for AT&T's upgrade or fully subsidized price for the iPhone 3G when first released, or anytime thereafter. There may have been an exception such as someone purchasing another phone at AT&T's subsidized price within a month before the first generation iPhone was released and keeping the phone.
This same applies to every carrier in regards to subsidized phones. You must fulfill your contract requirement for an existing subsidized phone before you qualify for upgrade or fully subsidized pricing with a new phone. Was the first generation iPhone your first cell phone and cellular service? If not, this should no be anything new.
I was a Verizon subscriber for over 6 years before switching to AT&T before the iPhone was available. The entire time I was a Verizon subscriber, I didn't qualify for Verizon's upgrade or fully subsidized price with a new phone until the last 3 months of my 2 year contract for an existing subsidized phone. I got a new phone every 2 years basically, which is common. If I wanted a new phone every 12 months, I would have been required to pay the full retail sales price for the phone I wanted, or at a higher price that was not fully subsidized by Verizon. -

What have you tried to fix it ? If you haven't already done so then see if any of the following fix it :
- log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in
- close the iTunes store app via the multitasking bar and see if it works when you re-open it : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the iTunes store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
- soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -

To sync contacts to your new iPhone you want to first
1: Connect iPhone 3G to computer with the latest version of iTunes (11.0.4.)
2: From there click under the device summary and look for your iPhone.
3: You should be on a page that should say summary on the top part of your phone where it'll say "Summary, info, music, applications, etc.
4: Click on Info and then you should see a box where you can put a check mark next to the words, "Sync Contacts."
5: Sync your contacts
Option 2:
1: Go to the summary page as described above and make a backup of your iPhone 3g onto your iTunes
2: connect your iPhone 5 and then open up the summary page
3: ON the summary page you want to click on "Restore backup" and select the backup you JUST made today (check the time stamp)
4: THis should put all your contacts, pictures, and settings from your old phone onto your new phone with no issues

The phone needs to be activated first with a sim in it. It doesn't need to be an active sim. Read this
USING AN IPHONE AS AN IPOD
Restore your phone as new. Place a SIM card into the phone and connect it your computer with iTunes open and follow the activation assistant to activate the iphone. Once the iphone have been activated remove the SIM card and turn on imessage in settings/messages.
