Is JavaFX8 supported on Windows XP SP3

Hi,
Currently JavaFX-b102 demos fail to render correctly on Windows XP SP3 (running in VMware). JavaFX 2.2.5 samples work correctly.
Is this a bug or will Windws XP support be dropped in JavaFX8 ?

    Now that we are in April of 2015, Will Firefox provide updates and patches for Windows XP SP3 users? Google Chrome supported XP till April 2015, I cannot afford to buy a new computer and am looking for a new browser for my Windows XP SP3 laptop.

    About the only Windows requirements changes I have seen for near future is that when Win64 for Release (as early as Fx 38.0) finally comes out it will need 64-bit Windows 7 and 8.x at minimum. The 64-bit XP, Vista and Servers are not supported.

  • Problems with Windows XP SP3 in Boot Camp

    I have recently received a 21.5" iMac; it is the higher-end of the 21.5" standard configurations. The problems I am having, I believe, specifically relate to drivers.
    Firstly, I get no sound whatsoever in Windows XP SP3 (boot camp); I have tried removing and reinstalling the drivers from the Snow Leopard install disc, but no success. I have no yellow question marks in the device manager window, but the absence of audio still persists.
    Secondly, I cannot gain access to the special functions of the Apple wireless keyboard in Windows XP SP3 via Boot Camp. Again, I have tried reinstalling the drivers, but no success. I have read an Apple support document which states that the keys are only supported on late 2009 Macs; I own one of these Macs, so that cannot be the problem.

    Hello cor-el, thanks for your reply. I changed my settings for downloads to desktop and it has appeared on there. When I double click I am asked which program I want to open file. I click firefox and another box "opening install" says I have chosen to open the file which is an application and do I want to save it. This is the only real option so I press save file. I get a box saying this is an executable file which may contain viruses - do you want to run. I press ok and the final box showing C drive file name and desktop appears stating application not found.
    This happens the same whenever I try to install.
    To my untrained eye the application is not being recognised as an application and I cannot work out how to get it to do that.
    My plugin is still showing as out of date.
    Is there anything you could suggest. Thanks for your time.

  • Windows XP SP3 does not recognize iPod Classic

    I have an older computer with Windows XP SP3 and iTunes 10.2.2.  iTunes does not recognize (load) my iPod Classic (160Gb model) when I plug it in.  The iPod lights up and charges fine, but it does not appear in the left menu bar in iTunes.
    I have an old iPod Shuffle that loads into iTunes just fine.
    I have tried a number of remedies:
    Updated the computer to XP Service Pack 3.
    Completely uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes twice.
    Reset the iPod Classic several times.
    Tried plugging the iPod into different USB ports on the computer.
    My music library is on an external drive, so I was able to borrow a computer (Win7) and use it to load the music into my iPod.  But this isn't a permanent solution.
    Does anyone know of a potential fix that I haven't considered?

    I have uninstalled successfully iTunes 10.5.1 from my notebook and reinstalled iTunes 10.5.3.3. Unfortunately, in reinstallation process, iTunes is hanging on "Registering iTunes Automation Server" for over 3 hours!!!!!!!! Quicktime, Safari, Bonjour, Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Software Update are all reinstalled successfully!!! WHAT's the problem for my notebook?   • HP Laserjet Pro MFP M125A " A Fatal Error Occured Preventing Product Use" on Window XP SP3

    Dear Friends,
    I really need your help on this issues, recently company that i been working buy 19 Unit of HP Laserjet Pro MFP M125A printer to be install at our 19 branches. All of our branches is using Window XP SP3 and the spec is exceed the minimum requirement stated at the box of the HP Printers which means by rights, it should be no problems.
    However, I sent and setup the printer at 4 branches only 1 is a success. others 3 centre is showing the same errors which is A Fatal Error Occured Preventing Product Use. I been trying to install using original CD provided by HP and driver provided at HP Support also given the same errors. The 1 Centre that OK PC spec is almost the same as the others 3 and all using default programs and software. So i dont knows what really is the problem.
    This is the things i have done in hoping to successfully install the driver but WITH NO SUCCESS:
    Clear temp file, disk cleanup, defragment disk and restart PC.
    Reinstall Windows SP3 and restart PC.
    Install basic driver only and using control panel > device and printer > add printer (Select Driver Manually). (See Pic Below)
    Repair windows using original windows XP SP3 CD.
    Re-Check for USB.INF file.
    Repair Registry with reg cure.
    Uninstall USB support and etc (Google), then re-install the printers.
    Uninstall Antivirus, disable all startup and services.
    Install using FULL DRIVER, BASIC DRIVER AND DRIVER MANUAL.
    Sometime when running the installer, it will prompt the below error signature and HP installer will loading quite long and then crash, but others PC don't have this errors, it straight away to the installation menu until DETECTING PRINTER until 99% and shows errors "A Fatal Error Occured Preventing Product Use".
    It seems that almost everythings i try cannot make the printer driver to be install. However, the SCAN driver is install successfully. Currently the printer only can PHOTOCOPY AND SCAN, without being able to print.
    Please anyone which facing similiar issues to HELP ME. anythings i can do, to install the printer DRIVER.

    I see that you are having issues installing several Laserjet Pro MFP M125A printers on several Windows XP computers. You are getting "A Fatal Error Occured Preventing Product Use". I can help you with this.
    What version of .NetFrameworks do you have? Check Your DOTNET.
    You might have to run the Windows Updates. I would update the .Netframeworks to 4.0.
    I believe HP software piggy backs Internet Explorer. Should have at least Internet Explorer 6.0.
    Please try these steps, most likely the wrong driver is getting installed, giving you the Fatal error.
    Disconnect the USB cable.
    Uninstall the printer software from the CD.
    Run the software again, immediately after connecting the USB cable, follow this document to update the driver before it errors out again. A Fatal Error Displays During Software Installation.
    If the issue persists, here is a document with some different steps to try.

    Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.

  • Accessing physical floppy disk drive from Windows 8.1 host machine to Windows XP SP3 hyper-v?

    Could someone help up me? I just wanted to ask if it's possible for a hyper-v to access a physical "floppy diskette" drive?
    Here's my setup: I have a Windows 8.1 as my host and Windows XP SP3 as the virtual machine. I would need to access the contents of the physical floppy diskette drive from the Windows XP SP3 vm. This is needed, because, currently our customer is still using
    floppy disk drives, to most of their in-house applications. I tried to open Drive A: inside Windows XP SP3 VM while the physical diskette from the Windows 8.1 is inserted. But then again, it cannot directly access the contents. Also, I tried to use "virtual
    floppy drives" and copy the files from the diskette. But for some reason, their applications do not support it. I did check device manager in Windows XP SP3 vm, but i cannot see the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" option inside the VM.

    Anyway, is there a way for Windows XP VM to access a physical floppy diskette drives inserted to Windows 8.1 host machine? I dont intend to use Virtual floppy disks. Only Physical ones.

    Where did you read that WMF3 is supported on Exchange 2010 SP3 on Server 2008 R2?
    Neither of the links you pasted suggest that and in fact explicitly say "There has been no testing with ExchangeServer 2010 SP3 and WMF 3.0 installed on Windows Server 2008 R2."

  • How do i install windows XP sp3 using Bootcamp?

    Have recently purchased Windows xp sp3 home edition , but i am having trouble installing it. It just keeps repeating itself , what i mean by that is it starts to install then it tells me to restart and then it does exactly the same part of installing again , then it tells me to restart etc. I am not really getting anywhere.

    SP3 has, for some unknown reason, been a pain with installing, with sometimes totally wiping out the Mac partition (not asking where to install).
    I'd jump to 7, along with how XP even with SP3 has 'limited' enterprise support now, even though it will get updates I think until 2014.
    That, or try to find SP2.

  • Framemaker 7.2 and Windows XP SP3

    For any Framemaker 7.2 users out there who does not already know, Framemaker 7.2 will not work with Windows XP SP3.
    A security file in Win XP SP3 causes problems with OLE graphics imported into FM. The problem will only rear its head when you try to save the document and the following error box appears:
    "An Internal error occurred while writing imported graphics in this document. The file has been saved, but has lost some image data. Please report this fault to Adobe Technical Support."
    Why only OLE imports are affect is beyond my skills as I would expect this problem with referenced imports. Adobe are not aware of this concern and have no fix. There are a couple of fixes, but neither are ideal.
    1. Remove all OLE files and import them as referenced files, then save.
    2. Roll back Windows XP to SP2. (This is what I had to do as I have a vast quantity of documents with OLE files.)
    If anybody has further info please feel free to discuss.

    It's just OLE, not FM7.2, that is the problem with the SP3 fix. This
    has been reported in the Forums numerous times. Using OLE with FM has
    consistently been a "not recommended" feature and Adobe is aware of
    the issue.
    As you point out, the only two fixes known, to date, are either import
    by reference or rollback to SP2.

  • Windows XP SP3 can't authenticate in 802.1x

    I'm trying to get working a fresh install with 802.1x in it. I have a serious issue with Windows XP SP3 not authenticating at all... I can see (with a Wireshark) EAPoL Start messages going out from the host, but nothing happens after. The switch is pretending that it has a timeout on dot1x exchanges. We don't have any issue with Windows 7 at all !!!!

    If anyone has an idea. Another thiong to mention, hosts have a Trend OfficeScan solution for Host protection, but the same on Windows 7 and everything is OK.

    A couple of questions here:
    -We have a voice vlan defined for the port and multi-domain config.During your tests, do you have the PC connected behind an IP Phone?
    -Which authentication method do you want to go for PC/IP phone?
    -Whats the IP Phone model/vendor ?
    In the logs , we have an Access-Reject for the client MAB auth attempt and then failover to dot1x auth.However, I dont see a Phone MAC in the logs.
    On the switch debug, we see several EAPOL packets to client 60eb.699a.0e0f, which seems a Quanta computer based on the MAC vendor.
    However no EAPOL packets seen from client side.You did indicate seeing an EAPOL Start from the host PC on a sniffer trace.
    -Are you sniffing on the client adapter itself or the switchport to which client is connected?
    -If we have an IP phone inbetween, do you also see the EAPOL start packet from the client when sniffing on the switchport ?
    Windows XP ,SP3 has some changes as compared to earlier SP versions:

    The following output would help to further isolate on problem.You will need to ensure that we have timesync between sniffer traces and debug logs for correlation.
    On switch, save logging output of:
    debug radius
    debug dot1x all
    debug authentication all
    debug authentication feature mab_pm all
    debug authentication feature mda all
    debug authentication feature voice all
    Simultaneously you can capture sniffer trace by spanning switch port interface to  which Phone/PC is connected.Please don't use any filters during the sniffer capture.
    After above steps please do a shut/no shut for tested port interface and replicate the problem with Win XP SP3.
    Following the test, you can also obtain the output of "show auth sessions int
