Is lag to be expected? Brush with Outer Glow and Stroke

I have a new Dell XPS One 2720 running Windows 8, 4th Gen i7, 16GB RAM, Nvidia 750M 2GB and Cintiq 21UX hooked up via HDMI as a second monitor in Extended Desktop mode.
I am a comic artist and am working on an A4, 400 dpi document in Photoshop CC 64bit and if I try to draw a line with an Outer Glow and 5 point Stroke applied I get crippling lag.
Is this normal for this spec machine, I've just 'upgraded' from a 4 year old iMac and I would say Photoshop ran better on that machine than my new PC. That can't be right, can it?

Curt Y, Turned off all visual effects in System Properties > Advanced > Performance and problems contrinued.
Might be getting somehwere though. Opened up the exact same file in the 32 Bit version of Photoshop CC and I don't get any lag at all when drawing a line with a stroke and outer glow applied.
Obvious difference between the 32 and 64 Bit versions and is that the former uses less of my systems RAM, so I went in to the Performance Tab in Preferences and changed all the values in the 64 bit version to the same as the 32 bit version and the lag was gone in the 64 bit version too.
Downside to this is that Photoshop is now using only 13% of my available RAM (1895Mb). I also changed the Cache Tile Size from 1024K to 128K and unticked USE Open CL in the Graphics Processor Settings.
Does this point to some bad RAM?

Problems saving image with outer glow as gif

I've created a logo with an outer glow and it looks great as an illustrator file but there are problems when I save it as a gif file. The glow is replaced by a white blob around the logo. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but the image has a transparent background. I'm new to the Adobe suite. Should I be adding the glow in Photoshop or can it be done, and look right, in illustrator?

GIFs cannot have alpha transparency. So you need to choose the same background color as you use on the HTML page, so that Illustrator can calculate your graphic when saving for web.
PNG can have alpha transparency, but you cannot use the "screen" blend mode in it.

i don't want to put with in try and catch.why not? i thought the fact that checked exceptions get thrown from methods is a good thing, since you're forced either to deal with the fault immediately, or throw to the next level up, possibly transformed into an application-level exception. if methods were to simply return method-specific error codes, nothing forces anything in the program to deal with errors in a reasonable manner. not that exceptions force sensible handling of the fault--but they do force recognition of the fault.
what alternative do you desire?

With just ABAP reports you can do reporting like in any OLTP system be it R/3 or CRM. The OLAP systems were initially made in order to get in-depth reporting using the data warehousing techniques to store, extract, retrieve data for presentation so that there is no performance degradation on the OLTP system.
Now CRM analytics is just technically like any ERP module analytics (be it CO, FI, SD etc.: if you put aside the diff. kinds of extraction techniques) and like them needs a BI system. The different modeling techniques have to be built normally on a separate BIW system and the results are applied back to business processes in CRM/ERP.
Since netweaver 2004 the BI content as an addon as against the prior releases. Not many customers follow the idea of performing the BI related transactions on the same system as the CRM is unless you have a really robust hardware.

Now i am able to post the docuemnt through BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST, unable to post the parking docuemnt.
WIth this Function module PRELIMINARY_POSTING_FB01 it very big process to map the fields, because SAP it self
filling lot of fields.
Mean while i have tried the BDC to park the document, but i am getting an error that 'Parking is not possible through batch input'.

Now i am getting an issue when we post with the function moduel :PRELIMINARY_POSTING_FB01 , after executing the function module it is giving the document number, but if it fails there is no return table or exeptions to catch the errors . is there any way to over come the problem.
I need to post the document and park the docuemnt.

I rented a movie on an iPad mini while connected to wifi. Now I'm in the car with out Internet and when I try to play the movie is says "could not load movie" what can I do? I purchased it from iTunes and let it load fully before leaving.

Can somebody help me figure this out? So before a road trip I rented a movie on my Ipad mini. The movie fully loaded before I left. It downloaded under wifi. Now that I'm in the car I tried to watch the movie but it isn't working. When I press play an error message pops up saying "could not load movie" can I not watch it with our wifi? What's going on? What can I do to watch the movie?

Problem with outer joins and the class indicator/discriminator

Hello,
I am having a problem defining a query in toplink (10.1.3.3).
In the workbench, I have created a parent and 2 child descriptors. The parent is "AbstractValue", the children are "DefaultValue", classified by the discriminator 'DEF', and "OverrideValue", classified by 'OVR', both located in the same table.
Another descriptor (containing a one-on-one mapping to both a "DefaultValue", and a "OverrideValue") needs to be queried for its 'value'.
The way the query should act is: If an override value (row) exists, this one applies for that object. If an override doesn't exist, return the default value.
The query then comes down to (as I have it now):
builder.getAllowingNull("OverrideValue").getAllowingNull("value").ifNull(builder.get("DefaultValue").get("value")).equal(builder.getParameter(VALUE_PARAM));
The problem is that toplink adds the distinction for the different kind of "values" in the where clause WITHOUT checking for null values e.g. it performs an outer join, but then still checks for the discriminator value thus
....t1.ovr_id = t2.id(+) AND t2.discriminator = 'OVR' AND ...
instead of
... LEFT JOIN values t2 ON (t1.ovr_id = t2.id AND t2.discriminator = 'OVR') ...
This leads to the behaviour that the query returns ONLY the objects that have override and default values.
An overview of the queries (simplified)
Toplink, at the moment, returns only results if both override and default values exists:

This is a bug in TopLink's outer join support for Oracle. Currently the outer join is put in the where clause, instead of the from clause, as we do on other platforms. You might be able to fix it by changing your OraclePlatform to return false for shouldPrintOuterJoinInWhereClause().
Please log this bug on EclipseLink, or through Oracle technial support.

Hi Prabhu,
I have two radio buttons ex: R1 and R2 and three Fields Ex: Vendor, User Name and Password.
When I select R1 Vendor field should be Visible and when I select R2 Vendor field should be invisible.
I created one attribute of type WDUI_VISIBILITY and binded in Visbility property of Vendor field.
On action of R1 I am setting attribute value as Visible using Set_attribute method and On Action of R2 I am setting BLANK in Set_attribute method. But somehow I am unable get the solution......

Proxy will send the data to XI system, Based Customer group number[1000,2000,3000,4000], I need to split the message into 4 messages, and sent to 4 Different location, based on Customer Group condition.
For message split, I fallowed below weblog.

Problem is file split correctly, but data goes to all customer groups..
EX
If they send the customer group 1000, I need to send the customer group 1000 file to BS1[Business Server1],
If they send the customer group 2000, I need to send the customer group 2000 file to BS2[Business Server1],

Develope it like follow.
Source Structure- Same for everything.
Create 4 different structures for all targets, create 4 different msg types, 4 inbound message interface ( i think you are creating single Message type now, that is the mistake)
In message maaping, add 4 target message types in same MM.. i hope i am clear.. ( same like in blog /people/jin.shin/blog/2006/02/07/multi-mapping-without-bpm--yes-it146s-possible he has created 2 message types USER_1 and Employee)
keep occurence of all of them 0 to unbunded (not necessary)
Now create mapping for each message type (same like USER_1 and Employee, imagine them like different message types virtually).
Map message type with the source field and mention the condition which you want test using graphical functions. i will say if x e equla to 1 creatif --> target.

Why does my Iphone 4 keep freezing up, Apps will close with out notice, and will randomly restart?

I just got a used Iphone, and it keeps freezing every time I try to do anything. Every time I click on an app it will open for a second and then close right back out. It will randomly restart, and some times it will just freeze and the only way I can get it to turn off is to hold the home and power button. I have done factory restarts. I restarted the phone as a new iphone and still does the same thing. I havent downloaded any apps from the app store and have just left it completly stock and it still has the same issues. Any ideas?

Iphone Purchased in Middle East with out Facetime and doesnt connect to Mac on new Update Yasmite

I recently visited Dubai and purchased 2 iphone 6, As per middle east Iphone comes without Facetime which is quit disturbing and hard to understand, This week my Mac upgraded to Yasmite which is amazing and i love it, There is a very good option that i can receive calls and make calls from my Mac without worring where my iphones are But all happines went dump when its not connecting with Iphone after searching web that My Iphone need to have FaceTime thats really sad, Iphone should and must provide some solution to this. becasue there are many many users who have iphone without facetime and having complete family of Apple.
Kindly if anyone can help on this to resolve this matter without changing the mobile. Will be highly appreciated

As already stated you can't and won't get facetime on your phone because you purchased a phone where facetime has been banned by the governemt.
It doesn't matter if you move to a different country where facetime is allowed or switch to a different carrier your phone will never have facetime on it.
If you want facetime you will need to purchase a new phone in a country where facetime isn't banned by the government.

Invoice created with out GR and posted after GR matches

Hi ,
can you help any body regarding this issue, where i need to do settings and all.
GE Water has the ability to enter invoices even if there is no goods receipt in SAP. Invoice is entered and "R" block is placed on the document in SAP. MRBR is run nightly to look at "R" blocks and see if they can be matched with goods receipt. If match is found SAP removes "R" block and invoice pays. If no match found, invoice still sits in SAP unpaid. Need SAP to be configured to do this in GE Energy. Currently if no goods receipt is found for an error message is received that no document exists. On blanket PO's blank lines are shown and invoice can not be entered without creating GRIR issues and payments not posting to the correct accounts

This essentially shoud be put in MRBR only by creating ZMRBR probabaly
You need ABAP development to put your desired logic
You are entering invoice before GR it means that you are doing PO based invoice verification
Then at the time of releasing blocked invoices you want system to Check the goods receipt
and provide you the message and or work further as directed
Please discuss with technical ABAP team
