Is Lion currently unsupported already?

Question

One of my Macs cant run anything beyond Lion. It's just Leopard - Lion. I don't know what I'll do when Lion will be unsupported. So I was wondering if it is already unsupported or it'll receive iTunes updates and security updates?
I know that there are many people still using Leopard on their PowerPCs, so should I worry about the security that much? I know that Firefox / Chrome are still working and updated on Snow Leopard, so should I worry very much?
I'm just worried, because I remember the day, when I discovered that Chrome is no longer updated on Leopard and so weren't any other web browsers. I'm worried that this will happen to Lion as well or do you think I can still use Lion comfortably without worrying until at least 2016?
PS. There has been some people on this Apple Discussions, who have told me that Chrome is very bad for Mac. I dont want to hear it anymore, because even on 10.10 Safari isn''t working well for me. Today I started using Chrome on 10.10 as well, because Safari didn't load any YouTube videos and some websites weren't displayed properly. Firefox loads images too slow, while Chrome does it in a second. For me Chrome is the best choice for every OS I use. I know I got little off topic here, but I'm tired of people on this forum telling me not to use Google Chrome, while it's the only browser that works properly for me.
Should I worry very much if Apple stops updating Lion?

As I have more important things to put money on I'd like to have secure computer and supported computer as long as possible.

Microsoft still supports Windows 7, even though it's as old as Snow Leopard and still provides security updates on XP…

But do remember that if your machine cannot install Mountain Lion, then it is very likely because the new features within ML are exactly what are not supported. Thus Lion, and what it offers in it's last incantation isas far as you can go. Apple still give security updates and Java updates, as I mentioned. SL itself is still a very stable system and at the point where there is nothing to update that will work within the architecture of machines which can not update to any newer systems.
