Is mountain lion compatible with all mac computers?
I have a macbook from 2008. I just installed the snow leopard to update my computer. I am wanting to update to the mountain lion version but I read somewhere that it is not campatable with older computers. Does anyone know if this is true? I would rather not waste my money if I dont have to.
Thanks!
See http://www.apple.com/osx/how-to-upgrade/ for a list of supported systems

I just purchase a brand new mac computer and I need to purchase new adobe CS software for work. Do you know if Adobe CS5 Design Premium-Mac is compatible with new mac computers with the updated Yosemite software? *No previous adobe CS software versions are on this computer
There are known technical issues with any older version on Yosemite, even CS6. Some can be worked out, others may not be relevant to you, some will remain unsolved.

Is mountain lion compatible with snow leopard?
is mountain lion compatible with snow leopard? can you use the same version of iTunes
VMware and Toaster can be upgraded to versions that will run on Mountain Lion.
I was not able to find anything on PalmPilot for Mountain Lion. Of course seeing as how it is at least 15 years old that doesn't surprise me.
As I see you want to run two operating systems which means rebooting to use them just for PalmPilot. IMHO that is a lot of effort on your part for a very small gain.

Is osx mountain lion compatible with mac pro (4,1) w/ raid card?
I noticed Apple isn't selling the Mac Pro's with raid cards anymore, so it makes me wonder of Mountain Lion is compatible with my Mac Pro which uses the apple mac pro raid card. Anyone know??
Thanks Kappy. I'm more interested in the RAID card compatibility. Anyone else know?

Is mountain lion compatible with parallels desktop 5 for Mac?
I currently have Mac OS X. 6 snow leopard and want to upgrade to the latest version of Lion. But I use Parallels desktop 5 for Mac. Will this be compatible?
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Only Parallels Desktop 7 and newer are supported on OS X Mountain Lion. Update Parallels Desktop before upgrading to Mountain Lion. Make a backup of your data with Time Machine and check that your applications are compatible > http://www.roaringapps.com -
Is mountain lion compatible with quickbooks online?
I use QuickBooks online and have not been able to get it to work since I upgraded to Mountain Lion. I can log in, but none of the dropdown menus work. When I try to post a check or payment none of my vendor information populates and none of my account assignments will populate. Help!!!
Thanks. So you're saying I can still use the hard drive I bought, just don't use the automatic software that came with it?! Here's what I found in the user's manual:
To use the drive with Mac OS X Leopard or Snow Leopard operating systems, and to use Time Machine, if you want, you must first:
• Reformat the drive to a single HFS+J partition • Restore the WD SmartWare software and disk image
....but still not sure if it will be compatible with Mountain Lion once I upgrade....I guess I have to wait and see?!

Yes, your MBP should support Mountain Lion. See this Apple note. -
Download to make Mountain Lion compatible with Canon iX 6520
Would like Canon webpage when I can make my Canon iX6520 printer compatible with my Macbook Pro OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 operating system.
Hi,
I downloaded the driver from http://www.canon.ca/inetCA/serviceDetail?m=load&id=3&sid=15&mid=2200841&type=S
Anything else you need should be at the Canon site also. After I did the install, I did the head alignment fron the apple preferences menu. I've printed several photos and they look fine.

Is mountain Lion compatible with Windows Small Business Server 2003
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if Mac OS 10.8 is compatible with Microsoft Small Business Server 2003. We connected Mac Os 10.7 machines to our MS server but we have no results with Mac Os 10.8. Our Windows server is an HP proliant with SBS 2003 SP2.
Thx
PhilippeI'd recommend calling AppleCare to research this one, you probably should tell them which Mail client you are using on the iMac...i.e. Mail, Outlook, etc...

Why is mountain lion incompatible with my mac pro?
The app store says that Mountain Lion is incompatible. Not sure why. I have 2 x 2.66 GHz Dual Core Intel Xeon processors. I have 8 GB of memory free and over 800 GB of storage free. Can someone explain?
Thanks,

Mine doesnt show what month / year it built. How can I find it?
If you're running Lion, it should, where my iMac shows it's an early 2009 design:
But a Mac Pro 1,1 is probably an August, 2006 model. I don't find an article that connects the model number to build period for Mac Pros, but plug your serial number into this site. It should show it. -
Is mountain lion compatible with iBank?

The HardDrives Internal are compatible with all macs
These HardDrive is Compatible With MacPro 4.1, MacPro 1.1, I Mac 5.1, I Mac 10.1???
I Need This Information About the Compatibility Of the HardDrives with Macs
I Need Shop This HardDrives and it does not present nothing information about compatibility of the macsBefore thinking about which HDs you want, you may want to determine if you can change HDs in the first place. Most iMacs don't allow this, and taking the DIY approach is rife with difficulties.
But to answer your question, 2.5" internal drives should work just fine with your Mac. Post here with your results: an interesting thread. -

Is the newer Firefox version compatible with all Mac? My last download said it was not.
I have MAC OS X 10.4.11
Well, I think the Intel Mac requirement needs to be more prominently displayed. The download bar merely says it's a download for Mac OS X with a sub-note All Systems and Languages. My 10.1.11 rejected it. Poor execution by Mozilla, I think.
