Thanks for your prompt reply. I added the "Gift voucher" field back in as suggested and tested the process out again. I now get the following error instead: ERROR: You've chosen gift voucher as the method of payment but no gift voucher is associated with this order. Do you know why this is?

Why app store is asking to vertify payment method even for free products? And after that I still can not download any free products from the store.

Verifying payment method validates your Apple ID. You need to do this even if the charge is zero. Can't get around it.

Lets be specific.
SQLDEveloper is available without charge under the terms of the OTN license, which has been amended to allow one download to be used in several machines. This includes both development and production use of same. All other terms such as ownership, decompilation etc still hold.

Using iBooks Bookstore for (free) product catalogues

Hi all
Does anyone know if there are any restrictions/exclusions for creating 'brochure/catalogue' books in iBooks Author and submitting to the Bookstore for free download? I have looked through the guidelines and cannot find anything that specifically says no or looks like it would be an issue but would rather not spend to much time with our client creating content for it to be refused!

The question is where to draw the line. While it's nice of Apple to accept free books, I'm sure they don't see themselves as a general repository for whatever information someone might want to make available, such as product catalogs.
Somehow, Apple have to make a decision as to what should be accepted into the store what should not. I suspect that things such as product catalogs probably wouldn't make it into the store. Too close to advertising, for one, and probably not of interest to the general public. Basically, if you can see a normal book store putting your publication on the shelf, then you have something that potentially would be appropriate for the iBookstore. If you don't think a paper book store would put the catalog on the shelf, I suspect Apple won't either.

Well, most of the Duck products are for apps OTHER than FCX. Getting sequences and media from FCP to Avid...FCP to Smoke and After Effects. Avid to Legacy FCP. ONE to get from FCX out to something else. Nothing there go get INTO FCX.
The new app still lacks many many tools I need to get work done. Besides that, it reinvented editing when editing didn't need to be reinvented. I use apps that allow me to cut quickly, ones that I have known for years. I have no reason to try to spend months figuring out a whole new editing paradigm...especially when that tool lacks features I need.
Pointeless.

Can I use Jbuilder with the Apache ADF components to create production use code with a no cost license?
Can the Oracle 10G database be used at any level of production use with a no cost license?
Is J2EE required for code developed end to end on Jbuilder?

JBuilder is a Borland product which costs money.
If you are talking about JDeveloper - than JDeveloper is free - and you can use any free libraries in it such as the Apache components.
The only thing to be aware of is that the ADF Framework has a cost if you deploy it to non Oracle application servers.
As far as the database goes there is the free Oracle XE database - it has some limitation in its license and features - you can read about this when you download it.

How can I retain the re-writted mail from thunder bird

Recently our mail server changed to Office 365 from Mithy server. Unfortunately when our It team changing the setting, my inbox got re-writted and I lost all old mails. Kindly let me know, if there is any possibilities to retain those deleted mails....

Your IT team should have advised you that changing to another server would not give you access to any emails held on the old server, assuming you were using IMAP.
This would have afforded you time to get emails off the old server.
When the server changed, you would have needed to alter the server settings and that meant you were looking at a different server.
It would not be unreasonable to assume that the IT team should have migrated all the data/emails so that when you change the settings you can still see all the folders and emails. Clearly this did not occur.
Maybe the server is still accessible but you would have to create a new imap mail account and connect to the old server settings.
If this works, then synchronize all folders for offline use to keep a copy on your computer.

Then in offline mode, move those emails into Local Folders.
If you cannot setup a mail account to access old server then chat to the IT department and ask them how you access/download etc old server in order to move your emails. They are the only people who can access servers.
If you ever get personal emails sent to business email address then move them into Local Folders, then you can back them up, save as .eml files etc. But they will be on your computer and not affected by a server change.

I know one has to pay for OAS, but is the download of oc4j a freebie?

There are a number of licensing options for OracleAS, which are categorised as Editions.
The smallest edition we provide is the Java Edition, which gives you the right to employ OC4J (and TopLink and Oracle HTTP Server and we throw in JDeveloper as well) in a production situation.

Thunder bird is deleting my emails shortly after they arrive. The activity monitor shows they are deleted. I cant find a way to stiop it.

As stated, the emails disappear even as I watch. I have no filters set to delete and also I thought deleted emails went into the trash but they are not.

In that setting I have not enabled the adaptive junk mail controls, the square is unticked. Similarly the global junk preferences.

Is SQL*Net Client a Free Product?

I think it is 'free' as part of the database licence, so it's really just a component of Oracle Server. You cannot download it separately.
I'm curious as to why you might want just Oracle Net ...

I've never known that to happen, to anyone. Even Apple certified instructors do not get hardware given to them. When I worked at a large state university IT department, we would often get trial equipment when new models were announced publicly, but NEVER before that, and they were never offered to inidividuals, but to the institution (and they would be taken back when a newer model was announced).
To be honest, I do not know of any computer hardware company that publicly tests new, unreleased hardware - they all do that sort of thing in house.
As far as being a software tester, that is by invitation (customer software seeding programs), and requires accepting a non-disclosure agreement.

It could be a name-confuse as the name must be the same as on mailserver.
Just check where you store them and if you have subscribed to that folder.
