Is muse tutorial on SEO totally out of date

First off I must say I am a complete beginner here. From what I have read the Muse tutorial on SEO like most of the search returns on Google is totally out of date. I have read that google does not take notice of Meta tags or descriptions or H1 type heading divs or tags or whatever they are called. I filled in all the text descriptions for images etc but did not use the H1 type paragraph thingy as I had read it was ignored and wished to chose the size of my headings as and when I wrote them to fit into my idea of a nice page. I have been unable to actually find any way to improve my ranking other than to get link backs. I am not sure what they are and I can see no reason why anyone would want to link back to my site from another site other than to help me. I actually have i link back but have no idea where it came from. Having said this I have found my site in position 2 page 1 on a Yahoo search and on page 2 of a google search but the search I entered is not the one people wishing to get the information I am offering would put in. Because I knew what was there I was able to chose a combination of words that worked by trial and error. This was in an effort to try and make some sense of how the search engines work. I used keywords that I had put into the site but I have read too, many times, that google does not take notice of key words due to abuse by webmasters. They must see them though or my search would not have registered so prominently. I am not selling anything and my site has a very narrow interest window,ie older marathon runners. If anyone can help me enable these people to find my site I would be delighted to hear from them. When I was having trouble with my running I would have been very happy to read such a site. I should have realised how difficult it was to get a sensible response to a search as I had exactly that problem myself when looking for advice for old runners . I realise that at about 1 month live my site is young and that I will have to wait for results but it would be good to get some genuine up to date advice on SEO. SEO is a bit of a difficult subject as there are alot of X factors. The techincal aspects in terms of site structure, sitemaps, etc is all handled by Muse so the main thing to look at is content and use of metadata.
Looking at your page for "border run", you have a very short page description. You may want to rewrite the description to highlight the actual details more, such as "A journal of my experience training for my first running of the *race name here* marathon as a senior runner. I discuss my training regimen, nutrition, and experiences in the racing community." You are doing a better job elsewhere on the site, but as I said SEO is a difficult problem and often requires a holistic approach.
Here we are targeting a number of various keywords that are more generic and it does a better job summarizing the detail of your page. Using numbers such as 80+ for example could be overly descriptive as opposed to a general term such as senior. You may want to take a look at www.google.com/en/us/webmasters/docs/search-engine-optimization-starter-guide.pdf for some additional hints from the horses mouth.
Another thing to look at is getting your material out there via social media. You can look into integrating sharing widgets on the page like shown here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5137786#5137786
You should also look into referencing your articles on other marathon pages, start commenting on othere peoples articles from the perspective you have and try to share your page (or guest post on another blog in order to reference your site).

No, there is no way of doing that from any of the filter plugins - they don't calculate like that internally, so there would be no easy mechanism for doing this. Even if you looked at the preset data, you'd only find the setup conditions for each filter band, not the total responses. The only place you can do anything like this is the Frequency Analysis window. Because this does an FFT of the entire waveform, the data is available - hence the 'copy to clipboard' option.

The details are that my first time user impression is that Firefox is a liar, or that the web page is developed by liars; or that the program doesn't function well as it said that my Firefox was out of date, but the link to fix the problem said that is was up to date. So, the only purpose of the statement that it was out of date was to get me to register, and that the company doesn't care what I think about it. I am totally open to another logical explanation. The application is using a number of stateless
session beans.
Normally, my servlets instantiate the remote beans in
order to make access to their interfaces. For
example, I have a servlet that fetches all of
the accounts for a given customer. First, The servlet
does the fetch by calling JNDI to lookup the "home"
interface, then does a "create" call on the home
interface to get the "remote" interface
(see snippets of code below, the ejbCreate()).
Second, the servlet calls up a specific method that
extracts the customer's accounts (see snippets of
code below, the method getAccountList()).
At first all seem to work well, however after some
random time my beans start to throw the SQLException
"failed to create a data connection with any of the
specified drivers"
At first I thought that I am not closing the
connections, but all of of my connections,
statements, and result sets, are closed
and even set to null in a finally block as you can
see in the snippets of code below.
If I restart iAS, all of the connections get released
and things look normal again till the problem
re-occurs.
Initially, we had this problem on SP2, so we upgraded
to SP3 thinking that this may solve the problem,
however the problem remained on SP3.
Another thing, this same application works perfectly
well on my laptop which has similar iPlanet
configurations except that operating system is
Windows 2000 Advanced Server, and Oracle 8.0.4.0.0.

I've experienced similar problems. Unfortunately, all efforts by iPlanet
technical support to resolve the issue have failed. (They do keep calling
and asking if they can close the ticket for some reason)
One thing that's totally anoying is the ksvradmin monitory crashes when I
try to have it report any connection pool information. They verified it's a
bug in SP3 but won't say if it's fixed in SP4 or provide an estimate.
To date here's what I've tried (by tech support's recomendation):
1) Configure for global transactions. (even thow I'm not using them)
(Failed)
2) Switch to using 3rd party driver (We were previously using native)
(Failed)
3) Ran report on oracle showing number of connections used during iplanet's
failed attempt. Report from Oracle shows 2 connections open, but iPlanet is
configured for 120.
4) Increased the connection pool size. (I didn't know why based on the
above info) (Increased to 300) (Failed)
Well there's my history. We crash after about 3 days of heavy usage. I'm
about to give up and just reset my servers each night. Will help me with
logfile rotation of the kjs files as well.

Firewire does not function after uninstalling macfuse and an out of date version of NTFS32 and then installed latest version of Tuxera NTFS for Mac.

I purchased a 3TB HDD (WD USB 3.0 $100) to replace the 2TB Seagate for a new Time Machine HDD. The 2B was full and backups were deleting older files. The 3TB was formatted NTFS and I want to "recover" the included SW before I reformatted the HDD for the iMac. I discovered that MacFuse was out of date and unsupported and my NTFS-32 was also out of date so I uninstalled both and then installed the most recent version of Tuxera NTFS for Mac. I rebooted and discovered that the FW800 port was unresponsive. Below is the EtreCheck report:

Remote debugging information file out of date

I am unable to remotely debug a project. I get "The debugging information file for this file is out of date".
This is very strange because the project resides on the remote computer and I am working on it as a network share. I had it working yesterday, but not today.
I assume that I have the 2 system configured properly since I am getting this error on my development system when I launch the program on the remote system. I am connecting remotely with TeamViewer 10.

Have you made changes to what you are trying to debug since yesterday? I would make sure that the application versions match for both computers you are using.
Also, are you following this link to debug your project?

How to control outer group data based on inner group data

Hi ,
Please can anyyone help me on this issue.
I have one invoice header record and for that invoice there are 15invoice lines record.
1)my requirement is i want to print the 10 invoice records in first page and remaining records,in next page.--this i had achieved*(byusing solution posted inthe forum)*
i have the layout like this

main group data table
i had inserted another table for inner group data.
again main group data in main table.
2)But here i don't want print header info again in second page.
3)i am not getting the line numbers in inner group in ascending order ,i am getting in descending order. how to get them in decending order
4) if lines record are going to second page i don't want to print subtotal,tax,total (these are main group data)in first page, instead of this
in place of
subtotal-- want to print Continued......
Tax- null
Total:page 1 of 2. like that i want to print in first page.
i want them to print in second page.
5)the bottom portion also not to print on second page.(after innergroup data,there is some main group data)
i have one doubt by using inner group data whether we can control outer group data.
if any of my requirement's are not possible to meet ,please provide me the information.
This urgent for me,have to submit it.

weI am getting occasional Safari is out of date messages but checking for new software says "up to date". Initially we subscribed to Support but did not realize that it has expired. We have upgraded the OS once but have not received any notices of additional upgrades. So far I have not come across a way to update on my own.

I suspect this is the issue but wonder whether it is wise to upgrade my model:

Ran Out of Data

Within the past year, my iPhone 4 has been slowly running out of data, even though I continuously check the usage and delete unneeded apps. Just a few moments ago, I couldn't even take a photo due to not having any more data available. I use the phone everyday, but I delete history, open apps, and other items when I finished with it. I have ten total apps, Facebook being the one with the most used data, but that seems awfully little compared to others' phones. Another thing as well, my phone will not let me erase any text messages, otherwise I cannot receive or send any messages without turning off the iPhone completely. I don't know what else to do, please help. Thank you
