I doubt it. MX2004 is several versions out of date (though it works with operating systems that are its contemporary...that were in use when it was released). But that's only my opinion. If you have it and try it, who knows?
Remember that even CS4 was released before Windows System 7, so there may even be anomalies in that pairing.
I personally would wait for a version of Adobe that was tested on System 7 before moving to it.

Is HP Smart Web Printing compatible with Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and Internet Explorer 8 and 9?

HP Smart Web Printing has been replaced with HP Smart Printing.  It does support Windows 7 and IE 6 to IE9.  See this page for information.

  • Illustrator 10 compatible with Windows Vista?

I'm looking to purchase Illustrator 10 (can't afford the $600 for CS3). Is it compatible with windows vista? I've been all over the Adobe website, but there is no information pertaining to any upgrades or FAQs on the subject.

You'll be trying to run an old version of Illustrator (now at v.13) on an operating system with which it was never tested, so all bets are off.
However, users have reported success with Illustrator versions going back as far as 8. After installation, you will most likely need to do the following:
Right-click on the Illustrator EXE file, choose properites, click the compatibility tab, and then select...
    * Disable Visual Themes
    * Disable Desktop Composition
    * Disable display scaling on high DPI machines
It's going to be difficult to purchase a legal copy of such an old version.
    Caveat emptor.
Also make sure you update to 10.0.3.

  • Is CS2 compatible with windows 8

I have just purchaeed a new windows 8 PC and I'm having problems installing my CS2. Is CS2 compatible with windows 8. It won't let me intall into the programs (x86) folder. I have manually put a Adobe folder into the programs (x86) folder and installed directly into that folder but it won't take my serial number. Says the serial number is invalid

Not sure if it's 100% compatible, but basic functions seems to be working, no crash so far - tested on 64-bit Windows 8 Professional. Played just a few minutes, though - was curious if all that "free CS2!" is real, rather than really needed it . Installed it in "D:\Adobe", used software and serial numbers provided by Adobe at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/index.html.

  • Is RH8 Compatible with Windows 8

    RH8 / RSC 3.1 / Windows XP
Is RH8 compatible with Windows 8?
We have been looking at new machines with Windows 8, and also about upgrading to RH10, but the last I heard RH10 had not been fully tested for Windows 8. Has that changed, or will it change, or is that a matter for RH11 in the future?
The XP machines are out of date and browser compatibility is becoming an issue.  Would we be better off getting RH9?
Any information, suggestions, etc. that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Joe

Rh10 was tested against a beta version of Windows 8 but released before the final version of Windows 8 was launched. As a result it is not officially supported but so far it would appear it is working OK. The deal is if you have a problem with that combo, there is no official support. Whether or not it will be fixed during the lifetime of Rh10 is something only Adobe know and they never release such information ahead of a fix.
As to earlier versions, good luck.
You also need to consider the compatibility of the outputs with IE10. The WebHelp section of Snippets on my site gives information about fixes for that for Rh9 and Rh10. For Rh8 the only fix is the metatag detailed on my site.
See Item 28 at http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/rh8/using_rh8.htm for Rh8/RSC under Windows 7, so good luck with Windows 8!

  • Is photostream compatible with windows 8?

Is photostream compatible with windows 8?  I installed windows 8 on my computer now my photo's won't save to photostream on the computer they do on the phone just not the computer?

Apple told me 8 was compatible after spending 4 hours on the phone with them in total. My laptop is an acer Aspire. In the end they said it is probably is my network that is the problem with photostream not syncing. How can it be my network when photostream works perfectly well when i use my husbands computer with windows 7. Also last night I removed icloud from my windows 8 laptop (not syncing photostream anyway) and installed Acer cloud which now supports IOS so happy to say my phone now syncs photos perfectly to my windows 8 acer aspire laptop.

  • Is iTunes compatible with Windows Data Execution Prevention?

Is Itunes compatible with Windows Data Execution Prevention?
Every time I open iTunes, the Data Execution Prevention Closes it Down. We Have Windows XP

I finally got it to work by making sure that I was running itunes as the "administrator".  Here's what I did: Right click on itunes......click on 'run as'.....click on "administrator", it'll ask for a password.  If you don't know it (like me) create a new account user called "Admin" with a password.  Everytime you want to use itunes do this.  I know it's a pain but so far so good.  Hope this helps.

  • Can Mac OS 8.6 be made compatible with Windows?

I have one of the first iMacs (8/98) that was originally OS 8.0. It's been upgraded to 8.6 with 64mgs RAM.
I'm starting my own business and need to be able to access MS Window-built sites that have "Audio" icons that, currently, don't work for me. I installed Windows Media Player 7, and sometimes it actually works.
Any suggestions on how to make my old computer more compatible with Window's applications?

In this case, your problem is not Mac and Windows compatibility. It's the old technology (your Mac OS 8.6 software) that won't play the media created by the newer technology (whatever you're finding on your website).
Keep in mind that computers are not appliances. A toaster, for example, has a specific function and will always do that function until its hardware falls apart (my parents had one for 15 years). But a computer's functions can be altered over the years by upgrading and updating the operating system and application software.
In your case, you have old hardware too. You can do a few of things.
    1. Your hardware will easily support upgrading your operating system to Mac OS 9. This OS is old too and no longer made, but you can find it second-hand online (Amazon.com) for about $35-$40. Then you can download the latest versions of Windows Media Player and Real Player for Mac OS 9.
    2. You can buy a new (brand new or a couple of years old) Mac laptop, which will be compatible with just about everything you'd like. It will also be compatible with future software updates and upgrades for a few years to come.
    3. You can buy a new (brand new or a couple of years old) Windows computer to ensure 100% compatibility with other Windows computers.
The bottom line is that you just need something newer. I suggest looking into the Mac OS 9 upgrade first. It's the cheapest potential fix for you. But it's not a guarantee.
    Hope this helps! bill

  • Is there a version of iTunes that is compatible with Windows 8.1?

Is there a version of iTunes that is compatible with Windows 8.1?

Thanks! The procedure worked great for me (using iTunes 10), however there was one caveat. I also had to edit “AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi” with Orca and change the entry in “LaunchCondition” from
    VersionNT64>=600
    to
    VersionNT64>=501
in order for the Device Manager driver update procedure to work, and iTunes to recognize my iPhone4. Prior to doing this, only “digital still camera” was displayed in the “imaging” entry in Device Manger. Once I did the above, “Apple Mobile Device USB Driver” was listed, and the procedure worked as written.

Thank you very much for your kind reply. One last question: If I buy the PC that I have in mind, and it turns out that it is not compatible with my CS 4, is there anything I can download or update from this page that would make it work?
Thank you again for your kind help!

  • Is Photoshop CS5 compatible with Windows 8?

My computer died and I have to buy a new one which will probably come with Windows 8. Is Photoshop CS5 compatible with Windows 8? I can't seem to find a straight answer.

It is not officially supported as the OS was not available with CS5 was written.  It will work on it however.
From what I have read Win 8 is a step down from Win 7 from a purely operational view.  It also has an annoying problem with the screen blinking with many of the video cards.  So see if you really like the features of Win8 before committing.  Win7 should still be available but you would have to make it a special request.

  • Panasonic Virera TC-P60S30 NOT compatible with Windows 7

I just bought the Panasonic Viera TV model TC-P60S30, from BEST Buy at the excellent price of $1,099.  This is a fine TV - easy set up, terrific picture and sound, lots of connectivity.  This is an excellent deal and I'm very satisfied except for one very disappointing and misleading claim by Panasonic.
Panasonic claims this TV has the functionality to stream pictures and music to the TV wirelessly from a Windows 7 enabled PC.  In fact an answer to my question about this from Panasonic Answers now posted on Bestbuy's product page (see link below) says this functionality is definitely available via the TVs DLNA feature.
    http://reviews.bestbuy.com/answers/3545mha/content/popup.htm?bvpage=http%3A%2F%2Freviews.bestbuy.com...
Panasonic's above answer is contrary to my experience so far.  As things stand, my tentative conclusion is this TV is not compatible with Windows 7 for DLNA functionality.  Here are my reasons:
After a very aggravating 48 hours of trying, I can't find a way to configure Windows 7 to stream pictures and music to the DLNA functions of the TV.
The TV's user Manual on page 34 states, "The DLNA control function of Windows 7 is not supported with this TV."
Tech Support at Panasonic told me they do not yet have a way of enabling DLNA streaming to this TV with Windows 7.
Microsoft's web-page of Windows 7 compatible TVs, does not list this model of TV.
The package this TV came in, does not bear the "Windows 7 Certified" compatibility logo.
There are a lot of people out there in the blogosphere discussing their problems with this issue on a number of Panasonic HDTV models.
If anyone out there has any experience with this issue, I'd dearly love to hear from you.  In the meantime, if you are looking for a TV with DLNA functionality fully compatible with Windows 7, I'd recommend you look elsewhere.  On the other hand, if you don't care about the DLNA feature, or if you are able to use it with some other Operating System, then this TV is an excellent buy.
Oh yes, and I think you guys at BestBuy should check this out.  If you agree with me, then Panasonic deserves a gentle knuckle-rap from you for their boo-boo in the above linked answer on your web-site. I know they are up to fixing this.  Maybe a DLNA firmware upgrade for this TV is in the offing?

Yes, Tversity is one nifty product.  It meets all of the streaming goals I was trying to acheive.  And it looks to work well, so far, with Windows 7.  So this is fine as far as a third party solution goes.  And NoNoBadDog definitely deserves a chocolate star for suggesting this work-around solution.
Nevertheless, Panasonic still deserves a rap on their vaporware knuckles because their product should work as claimed, right of the box, as it were, without having to resort to an unrelated third party piece of software.  Ordinary mortals are simply not comfortable with this kind of work around solution.
I stand by my opinion - this TV is not compatible with Windows 7.
(By the way NoNoBadDog, I have to worry about DLNA, because Panasonic built the TV with DLNA as the only doorway in for streaming from a PC. That's why I didn't click on your kudo icon)
    Cheers!

  • Adobe Acrobat 6.0 not compatible with windows 7

    Hello,
Some years ago I bought Adobe Acrobat 6.0 which I placed on my old computer. Now I have a new computer with windows 7 and the acrobat 6.0 version apears not compatible with this windows version. Does anyone know a solution?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best wishes,
    Arjen

If you have Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate, you can download Windows XP Mode and attempt to install Adobe Acrobat 6 in the virtual environment. Windows XP Mode uses Windows Virtual PC to run a full Windows XP Professional 32 bit environment virtually, and it is a free download. A limitation you may encounter is that the PDF printer will not be accessible from your Windows 7 programs, only from programs which are installed in the Windows XP Mode environment.
This subject has been discussed on several forums, and while Acrobat version 6 does install and work for some users, the PDF printer does not install on Windows 7. Version 9 was the first version which was compatible with Windows 7, so if this is critical to you, you should consider upgrading to the latest version of Acrobat.
