Is my iPad still working ?

I've bought my iPad from the USA 4 months ago and now i live in Thailand. Everything is fine. But I didn't use my iPad for about 2 months. And the result is "I can't turn on my iPad".
-I've tried charging, the apple icon appeared about every 20 seconds and it still can't turned on.
-I've tried pushing home+sleep button for 10 minutes(when it's charging) , then the iTunes icon appeared. So i pulled out the USB port from the plug to connect it to my computer. But when i pulled the USB port out, the iTunes icon disappear.
-I've tried connected it to my computer, nothing happens. My computer doesn't recognise it.
So please, I really need help. I really don't know what to do.

So is the plug into iTunes symbol on the screen? Try doing this, as you plug it into the computer Hold the Home button and continue to hold it until you see a message in itunes that says "a iPad has been found in recovery mode" Then restore the ipad. It will then load the Thailand software onto the ipad becuase you are there.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Find my iPad - will it still work after changing icloud username/pw?

My iPad was stolen last week.
In haste, I quickly changed all my passwords, and even changed my Apple ID. I wasn't thinking about the fact that the iPad won't be able to connect to iCloud if I changed the password. (And of course, I can't change it back.)
If the crooks are dumb enough to turn it on and connect it to the internet, will Find My iPad still work, even if it can't connect to iCloud?

You don't. Mirroring is duplicating your ipad screen on another projector - so you can't have another app going on your iPad without it also showing up on the projected image. Some apps are designed so that you see a different image in the iPad than the mirrored out display, but even then you're within the app itself.

I have tried the mystical swiping upward on the screen with 4 fingers to get some special sound menu (which I never succeeded in getting). My headphone jack doesn't work all the time either so some times my kids can hear their games and sometimes they can't. I am super frustrated at this point. So any suggestions would be great. Am I missing something basic or do we just have a soundless iPad now?

Is IOS 8 really appropriate with Ipod Touch 4, if the older Ipods do not have the capability then why are we prompted to install new operating systems.

You would also know if the computer had stopped for an Update.
On the Mac in the Contacts App in the Contacts Menu > Accounts is it shown to be using iCloud to Sync the info between all devices ?

I want to use numbers on my iPad mini for a team I coach. I have a spreadsheet on my mac I want to import onto the iPad mini for players to enter in wellness ratings. On this spreadsheet (on the mac) I have a conditioning formatting rule that when a player enters in their numbers the cells fill with black so others can't see their entries (to maintain privacy). Will this function import across onto iPad numbers? From the discussion I saw on this site it only partly answers my question stating "it cannot be edited" does this mean the conditional formatting rule cannot be changed and therefore will still work or the whole spreadsheet can't be edited and you can only view the spreadsheet and make no new entries to it?

Yes, I have posted this thread to different forums after I realized that Lenovo "customer care" is not likely to help me out and even wirelessforums.org members couldn't come up with any ideas for days, that's why. I have already written that helper applications like SMAC (or etherchange or macshift) don't work, because they do the same thing in the system as I change it in the driver panel, so they use the same method which simply does not work.

WiFi will work, cellular will work but they may not be able to access LTE, they will have to send it back to you for the warranty work.

Recurring theme with the 4s losing alerts except for the phone ringing. Most complaints seem to center on the 7.1 upgrade. The fix is dodgy, putting in a charger, playing a you tube video then pulling out the charger and wiggling it until you get the sound back. When you get the sound back, the volume buttons start to work again. Alternate solutions involve cleaning the docking port with a toothbrush, running a pick over the electrodes etc.
