The iPhone does not transfer music and videos via Bluetooth. To move content from one iPhone to another, you will need iTunes or iCloud handle that. Reset the TC to factory and start again.
Use all SMB type names for wireless and base station.. Not apple type names.. this is more important since Mavericks.
I also recommend different names for the different bands.
So for example.
TC name.. TCgenx (I use whatever the generation number is for the x.. eg TCgen4 or latest one TCgen5)
WIreless name.. TC24ghz for 2.4ghz
TC5ghz for 5ghz
You can also set the channel manually.
If you still have issues.. start with no security and then if it fails to connect there is something seriously wrong with the laptop. Did you upgrade install Mavericks?? That can lead to driver issues.. I would recommend a clean install.

Mac air won't connect or back up to time machine

I recently purchased a 3TB Airport Time Capsule. My Mac Pro happily backs up, but the Mac Air is now refusing to do so using the same set up. The error message I am getting is:
There was a problem connecting to the server “Andrew's AirPort Time Capsule”.
The server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again.
I have tried rebooting the Time Capsule, and also this fix:
From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
Click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the window and authenticate to unlock the settings, if necessary. Click the Advanced button, then select the TCP/IP tab in the sheet that drops down. Click Renew DHCP lease.
Not sure what else to do. I've noticed that others are having this problem

Thanks Jane, your help is appreciated. I've updated the firmware as you suggest, but it still won't connect wirelessly. I've connected the MacAir via thunderbolt and ethernet and can now back up, but don't seem to be able to resolve the fundamental problem. I thought it could be a password issue, but that is fine. A trip to the store I think.

I recently added an extender to my verizon router to be able to connect to apple tv in my guest house. the apple tv message in the guest house says it cannot connect to the server at this time.

I have two problems. Firstly I rented two movies and have not been able to watch them. Error on screen says 'cannot load at this time, try later'. Second problem is that I added a wi-fi extender to my verizon router to connect to apple tv in my guest house. message on screen in guest house says 'cannot connect to server'. If you are still having trouble, you can try to reset your equipment by unplugging Apple TV, your television, your wireless networking equipment or AirPort Base Station, and your router from their power outlet. Wait 30 seconds, then plug everything back in.

Can't install drivers for C7280 on Mac Air Hp says drivers at Apple who says no drivers, see HP.

I can't install the drivers for my printer Photsmart C7280 on my Mac Air running Mac OS X 10.7, Lion. The HP center sends me to Apple Updates which says no drivers available, see HP which repeats the circle.

Lion should include the driver you need but since its not working lets try this:
Let's uninstall with the 'scrubber option' like this:
1. Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard/ click on HP Uninstaller and click Continue
2. Highlight your device on the left pane
3. Hold the Ctrl, Opt and Cmd keys and click on Uninstall
4. There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall ALL hp software. (At this point, if you continue, any HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
5. Click Continue and let it finish

Stream7 not able to connect to Apple Time Capsule

I just got the Stream 7. it was not able to detect nor connect to my Apple Time Capsule. I am wondering if this is a hardware issue. it has no problem detecting my android device hotspot or my other router.

Mac not able to connect to SMB File Server

I'm having an issue with a Mac trying to connect to our file server. It was working before our company move but once we moved into our new building it stopped working. Our network settings stayed exactly the same except our router and firewall. It seems to me like it's a DNS issue because I am able to ping the server with the IP but when using the hostname is where it fails and also trys to ping an incorrect address. Our network is 192.168.X.X and it's trying to ping 69.60.X.X which seems like a outside address. I am able to ping the DNS server and seems to connect to computers with in the network but just not our File Server.

You will need to delete the keyboard from the other Mac. Simply disconnecting it leaves it still paired with the first Mac.

My MacBook Air won't connect to Apple TV.

Home Sharing is turned on on both the Apple TV and the MacBook Air, using the same apple ID. Apple TV does not see the computer, and no "push" icon shows in the apps on the MacBook Air. Using my MacBook Pro and signing on hte same way, I am able to push photos, music, and video to Apple TV.
Any suggestions?

I am having the same issue. Apple TV will connect intermintandly for video, and it will connect with audio. Both the computer and the Apple TV are saying that the connection to the network is excellent and I do not have an issue connecting with the internet with any of my IOS devices or the computer. It seems only to be the communication with Apple TV and the computer my IOS devises do not have the same problem. Is there an issue with MacBook Air and Apple TV?

Should I get my mac air checked out at the apple store after it was beeping 3 times, eventhough I managed to fix it?

my Macbook Air was just beeping 3 times with a pause of 5 seconds continously. I only just managed to get it to stop by hooking it to the power supply and holding the power button for 10 seconds. I was just wondering if I should still go to the apple store and get it checked out, eventhough I sorted it out.

That would probably be a good idea to see if something behind the symptom may be covered under AppleCare or other considerations should there be a hardware issue as a cause of this. Usually bad RAM may be the cause of three-beeps, in older Macs. Their product specialist or Genius should be able to help check it out and give you advice even if the unit isn't covered by AppleCare.
With those models with no user-accessible RAM, battery, or SSD, the Apple Store or Authorized Specialist - Genius, etc would be the go-to people.
