Is my Skype spam-calling someone?

A few months ago I received a voice mail from some man who was very angry about getting spam called, and just last week I got another voice mail from the same man, still angry, about spam calls. I have never called this person before and nothing in my Skype outbound calls shows his number having ever been called. I do not know if he is calling and leaving a message on the wrong number (mine), or if he is legitmately experiencing harrassment from my Skype.
I paid for a Canadian Skype number and I am at a loss as to what to do about this other than nothing at all, but I am afraid of some bogus harrassment charges being brought against me for something I have never done and have no idea how it could be done.
Has anyone heard of this ever happening? My concern is because it was the same guy calling while a considerable amount of time had passed, making me think that he might be occasionally calling the wrong number, but my Skype number being unique I do not see how this could be, or occur twice. I have googled searched and looked for an explanation to what is happening, if my Skype account could possibly be doing this, but so far I cannot find anything.

As a first step, I would suggest restarting and/or resetting the iPhone:

When i try call someone, skype stops working...
I've ran dxdaig.exe and attached the file.

There are crash reports referring to Catalyst Control Center (CCC.exe).
Try to adjust settings in Catalyst Control Center:
- set all options in "Game" menu of Catalyst Control Center to "Application Controlled"
- change the smooth-vision anti-aliasing to use application settings.

Skype crashes when I call someone.

When ever I try to call someone on skype it crashes (windows 7) (64Bit) I also have run the DirectX diagnostics tool I have Put the text right below this

Is your Samson Meteor Mic actually a headset or is it appearing as a set of speakers as well when it shouldn't? You ought to delete it if it's a mic and it's installed itself as a speaker as well. Just try removing it and relaunching Skype - I don't like what it's doing and it might be screwing around with the system.
Try resetting Skype settings:
1) Exit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to terminate Skype.exe.
2) Open explorer, search for %appdata%. 3) Find the Skype Folder.
4) Rename this folder to something like Skype_Old
5) Now search for %temp%\skype.
6) Delete the folder entitled 'DbTemp'
7) Restart your computer, then launch Skype
You can still get back your conversation history. This data is located in the folder you renamed earlier.

You need to update your video drivers to attempt to resolve the problem. You can get the latest generic Intel video drivers here: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/24973/a08/win64_153336.zip If you are unable to run the setup due to it barking about incompatibility, you will need to force update the drivers using Device Manager and browsing to the driver folder in this package (ignoring any warnings).

Could someone hack and access my webcam and microphone after having a Skype video call with him?
I am worried if someone with whom I had a Skype video call could hack and access my webcam and microphone anytime he wants. I am using a MacBook Pro and I know that the green light is supposed to be turned on when the webcam is being used. However, I've heard that there are hackers that can turn off the green light, so that I don't know it is being used.

I have received spam calls on my Skype line a few times now. Something about my computer speed. A warning that if I did not act now, bad things will happen, or something like that.
Has anyone else tried to report this to Skype?

It sounds like the iSight camera on your iMac isn't working properly. I would recommend taking at the troubleshooting steps in the article below.

You are not going to be able to run your old system from the backup on this old computer as the hardware is incompatible.
You need to get a new computer or a refurbished one.

Skype Caller ID says SPAM CALLER

I called my phone via Skype and the caller ID says "SPAM CALLER Palmdale Area"Can the Caller ID be changed to either my Skype name or SKYPE CALLER ? No one is going to answer a call with the ID of SPAM CALLER!

Found the solution. It is to set up Caller ID so your number will show instead. An article can be found here: http://www.skype.com/en/features/caller-identification/ Enter your online account and follow the instructions.

When I try to answer a skype video call from someone, the call is ended before I can get it! As soon as I click on the phone icon or the camera icon, it ends the call. This only happens from one contact.

Try turning down the speak volume (System Preferences->Sound->Output->Output Volume) or the microphone gain (System Preferences->Sound->Input->Input Volume). Do this on both sides of the call.

My iPhone keeps calling someone I don't know

Hi all,
I have gotten three very irate calls from someone who's called ID is from Ohio. He said my phone has called him over 40 times today. I have no idea who this person is, and my call list shows no outgoing calls from anyone outside my contact list.
What's going on here? Is it possible someone has "hijacked" my number and is spam calling people from somewhere else in the country? It apparently is my number that keeps calling him (he called me back, so he obviously has my number) but my call list shows nothing.
What gives?

I have received 3 phone calls today from people asking me to stop calling them. I never dialed their number on my iphone, and there are no outgoing numbers to these numbers in my phone history. The strangers are calling from Pennsylvannia, Colorado, and a No ID number. Any thoughts?
