Is my Truecrypt running correctly?

Hi everyone!
I just installed Arch, to be strict I switched from Ubuntu after few months. First thing to do after OS installation was to get truecrypt working, as partition with all my precious data is encrypted. I followed steps described in method 1 of Truecrypt's Arch Wiki page.
When I was runing Truecrypt in Ubuntu, I was simply clicking on TC icon, then truecrypt's container (disk) password and then root password. It looks like it works a bit different (at least as I managed to configure it...) cause I have to run it with sudo, and it's not asking me for root password (which is ok for me).
I suppose it's effect of %truecrypt ALL=(root) NOPASSWD:/usr/bin/truecrypt in sudoers file, right?
It's working like that: (just if someone could check if it's like it should be and I didn't screw something up...)
After booting I press alt+f2 (I'm running KDE) and type sudo truecrypt
Mount volume (as root, am I right?)
Hide truecrypt to tray
And then I can manage to view/modify/create files as normal user, so there aren't any problems with permissions, right?

When I try to run as normal user, I always got message that "Incorrect password or no TrueCrypt volume found."
I'm 1000% sure that I type password correctly.
So I eventually screwed something?

Action written in CS4 won't run correctly in Elements 11 - specif. the "selective color" layer

I created an action using Adobe Photoshop CS4, and it runs correctly in CS4. When I save and load the action into Elements 11, there is a problem with the selective color layer. The selective color layer shows up in the layer stack along with the expected message that it can't be edited b/c it was created in the full version of Photoshop. However, the layer itself does not have any color/changes in it.
In Photoshop, the selective color layer makes the photo look pink. When I run the action in Elements11,the selective color layer does absolutely nothing to the photo. I do have the eye turned "on" to view the layer, and it's set at the correct blending options & opacity (normal, 100%).
If I run the action in Photoshop, save the file with all the action-created layers, and reopen the file in Elements 11, THEN the selective color layer shows its correct pink color. But when I run the action as a stand-alone action in Elements11, it does not.
Can anyone offer help as to why this is happening? Is there something special I need to do to make the action work correctly in Elements 11? My understanding was that it should RUN and create the layers correctly, although some of them will not be editable in Elements11. However, as it stands, it is not creating them with the correct color.

You probaly need to record the action in a little different way in photoshop cs4 to get the selective color adjustment layer to work.
Try something like this:
1. In photoshop cs4 add an selective color adjustment layer, but don't do any adjustments and stop recording the action.
2. Undo the selective color adjustment layer and then double click on on the selective color adjustment layer step in the actions panel
and when the dialog opens set your adjustments and click ok.

REPORT DOES NOT RUN CORRECTLY , URGENT PLEASE HELP

I am trying to run a report from visul basic screen, but it does not run correctly. Here is how I am running the report. There is a screen developed in VB This screen prompts the user for user id and password. Once it gets that, it connects to the oracle database and pulls out a column from a table. And passes that value as a parameter to the report. Now I am calling the the report for each individual value . There are 21 value being pulled out of the database and it invokes the report 21 times. So there are 21 report engines gets started. Is there a better way to do that ? Secondly when I pass the parameter , some parameters does not pass correctly I guess , because its not generating any out put . Like out of 21 may be 10 or 11 reports gets generated correctly but rest of the reports are blank. I debug the screen i saw that the parameter value is correct, everything seems good. But still the reports are comming blank. Any Idea why it is so ? The command line that i am using in VB screen is

In the above command " adoRecBrand!Brand " is the parameter thats being passed. This is actually a recordset and brand is the column in it. When I debug the screen , I see the value also there. But the report comes out blank. Please help. This is urgent.

The way you call reports is not scalable. If you have 100 records come back from database, you would end up launch 100 engines at the same times, which probably will blow up your machine. You should use oracle reports server to do that. You can either use rwcli60 to submit the job to reports server, or invoke rwcgi60 from URL.
I am afraid some of reports engine failed to start and you get nothing back in your case.
After switch to use reports server achitecture, if you still see some report is blank in your application, then you can run that report with that special set of parameters manually and see if any problem with the report itself.

First, for changing my question to the right forum. I am new on this and wasn't aware I was in the wrong forum.
Secondly, even though my initial question is not answered as in: I just want to remove Classic, what you say is right. I think now, after writing my long question and seeing your answers, that I should start from scratch.
To answer your question, I bought the new drive to be able to store and back up into DVDs and CDs all the photographs and movies that are still in the computer. I also need to make CDs of my portfolio since I am trying to find a new job and buying a new Mac at this point is out of the question. To upgrade the computer: I just do not have use for OS 9 anymore; I cannot upgrade to the latest Java, Safari or have issues with Flash or other programs; the programs that I have and need will still run perfectly fine or better in Leopard. And even if I could buy another computer I would still like to hang onto this computer for a while.

Why do Yahoo Flash videos not always run correctly in Chrome and Firefox/Windows 8?

I upgraded early last month to Windows 8 Pro.
Running Yahoo! News and other videos (Yahoo! Screen, etc.; virtually all Yahoo branded products) I get a black screen, no error message on Chrome and Firefox. The videos run correctly on Internet Explorer.
I have not found a way to run these videos at all in Firefox or the 64-bit Waterfox.
In Chrome, I can DISABLE the internal Pepper-based Flash player and the videos will run (but nothing ELSE will: no YouTube, etc.)
I can keep a plug-ins page open in Chrome and repeatedly enable and disable the internal Flash player; I can copy and paste the URL for what I'm watching back into IE...or perhaps some kind and knowing person here will have a better idea. For me, I sense a bug somewhere. BTW...this machine dual-boots Win8 and WIn7. The problem does not exist in Win7. Please don't suggest going back to Win7; that's a VERY mature (translate SLOW and quirky; survived repeated change of motherboard and other major components) install that I'm continually weaning myself away from and rarely boot into it anymore (Win8 boots from SSD and is blazingly fast, Win7 not so much).
I have not found any site other than the ENTIRE Yahoo site that has this problem!

I'm back! Actually, this issue has been happening to me every now & then but I'd just given up on dealing with it. But now I'm motivated again.
I clicked on a video link in Facebook that sent me to NASCAR | Facebook which turns from the https URL to those two words on this site for some odd reason, and it just popped a box telling me saying Flash Player Upgrade Required - Get Flash Player and the video's image never displayed under that and it couldn't be played.
Then once again I went thru all of the steps to insure that both I do actually have Flash Player and that it is Enabled. I do and it is. I also read somewhere to click the gear icon in IE then click Safety > ActiveX Filtering. I do that and I see a checkmark next to ActiveX Filtering. I've tried it both with a checkmark and without one and there's no difference.
I have Windows 8.1 fully updated, IE-11 and Flash Player
I see the swinging tire swing image in #5. Verify if Flash Player is installed at Flash Player Help.

Java program run correctly under 1.3 and 1.2.2 but fail in 1.4

The MixedExample.java in the following link can run correctly under 1.3 and 1.2.2. But when I run the program in 1.4, stack overflow error occurs.

I haven't looked at the sample code, however maybe look at this:

I just downloaded and installed new Xcode 3.2 in my Mac.
Everything is correct with my simulator except my device which is not running correctly.
From Organizer, my iPhone Software version is 3.1(7C144), when I run Simulator 3.1 is correct, but not with device 3.1, could someone help me ?

Web pages will not run correctly, says need Java- L505d-S6957

I have a new L505D-S6957 running the Windows 7 upgrade 32-bit. I have tried using Firefox and IE8. Both browsers seem to not run Java or not run correctly if so. Though when I check my Java it is latest and installed. Buttons on web pages and photos do not load or run. I have tried re-loading the Java, the browsers, and about anything else I can think of. Some web pages load jumbled as if without any margin.
Can anyone help me determine what is going on here? Some of my favorite web pages do not work and one will not even log me on. I could not log on to this website to get this help. It keeps returning back to the login screen after I try to login. However, I was able to login here on the first try on another computer. Thanks for any help on this matter.

Java does not run correctly

My school has a server which I think is UNIX and it runs something called IRIX. We compile our programs on there but it takes so long I usually compile on the PC with J2SE. The only problem is when I run the programs, they don't execute correctly while when I run it on the school server it does run correctly. Do you know what might be causing this problem? It compiles correctly on both sides.
If I need to ask the user for two things, I'll prompt for the first, then the second. But when I run it on the windows PC, it'll skip the first prompt and jump to the second.

Yes, the program executes correctly on Unix but not on PC. This is a homework assignment so I can't post it until I turn it in (tomorrow). It's very basic - since I'm taking an intro-Java course - and I'm doing this all by hand-typed text and the program runs with just text-displays and no graphical boxes.

Oracle report runs correctly via report builder but call report via form with parameters skips one of the plsql formula

I created a oracle report i.e Bank Book having banks transactions receipts and payments and opening balance w.e.f 01-jul-2014. parameters are bank code, from_date and to_date. opening balance calculates (return ope from table bankinfo +total receipts-total payments). reports runs correctly via report builder. balances are ok. but the problem is when i run this report via oracle form opening balance return only ope from table bankinfo and skips total receipts-total payments.....
i dont think so why this happend at all. some body help me...

If I put the script in its own file and run it from the command prompt, it runs just fine. If the script runs from the SQL Server Agent job, the for-loop will delete the files correctly, but the filenames
do not get written to the deletion log file and the counter does not get incremented, so according to the job log, nothing was deleted. Why does the script run differently from each invocation? It can't be a permission thing, the service that logs in has full
access to the directory and the files do get deleted. Any ideas out there?
Between this and other outstanding issues, I'm quickly losing faith in SQL Server. >=o(

i am trying to execute VB script to refresh my excel files.. using Vbscript file through SQL Agent job step.
i have copied VBscript in a file with the extension RefreshExcel.vbs kept in C:\RefreshExcel.vbs

Now when i am trying to call this script file in SQL agent job step (as you mentioned )

Issue: job step executed succesfully ,,but without performing any refresh on the excel. So i am not understandig what is going wrong. the same script file work when i am calling it through a batch file (window scheuler task). But it doesnt support
to run the file "when user is not logged in"
that is why i want to refresh my excel file through sql agent ,which can be scheduled to any time and cab be run as SQL agent credentials.
Can you please help me on this ...i have tried all the option but nothing working .. found hope by seeing your solution.

What are you expecting to display? Is it data? Images?
It's possible that you've written your code such that it references a path on YOUR specific machine. Always try to avoid references to C:/ or /<yourUserName>/someFolder as you're not guaranteed that they'll exist on other machines.

AI CS6 install - sample code can't run correctly

I have problem with run sample code in AI CS6.
I install AI CS6 and download SDK for AI CS6. I build plugin sample code (tutorial, webter). I build success but This program can't run in CS6.
With Tutorial. It's apprirance in menu Help and menu Object->Filter->SDK->Tutorial. But no action when I click there
With webter. It's apprirance in menu Help and menu Window->SDK->webter. But no action when I click there
My Os is windown XP SP3.
I build with visual studio 10.
I can build success plugin sample code in SDK CS5 and run success with AI CS5.
Do you have same problem ?

Because you have the menu items appearing I think the C++ side of the sample should be running correctly. However both these samples use a flash extension to provide the UI which is something that has changed between the CS5 and CS6 SDKs. If the extensions that provide this UI were not installed or running using Extension Builder then I would expect it to lead to the behaviour you are experiencing.
To install the extensions to confirm that this fixes the issue you can do the following:
If you look in the TutorialUI or WebterUI folders you should see an output folder in with TutorialUI.zxp or WebterUI.zxp if you double click those files they should open Extension Manager and install the extension.
If you restart Illustrator and retry the plugins I would expect them to now show a panel after you have clicked on the menu items. That is if the problem is what I have described.

Why do you think it's not running correctly? Please let us know the symptoms you are experiencing, without any data how can we tell you what tool to use??
