Is OIA supports adding Multiple data owners for single role?

Hi
Can you please let me know, if we can assign multiple data owners under resources tab, data mangement tab.
Or with glossory upload using file based?
The intension to keep backup data owner for each role for certifications.

No, OIA does not support multiple data owner. You also cannot target the backup data owner in certification.

I need to extract data from 3 data sources and put into one star. I installed the necessary software, did the necessary configurations as per the documentation provided.
Example:
C:\star_1\star\etl_homes\staretl
C:\star_1\star\etl_homes\staretl02
C:\star_1\star\etl_homes\staretl03
When I run the staretl process for 2nd source or 3rd source, I am not sure why the startetl.properties in C:\star_1\star\etl_homes\staretl\res is getting updated (Source changes to 2nd source or 3rd source as per the run). DBLINK01 is also getting changed.
Please advise.

   I HAVE TRANSFERRED DATA FROM THE FINAL INTERNAL TABLE OF MY ABAP REPORT (NOT ALV) TO CUSTOM Z-TABLE CREATED IN SE11.
BUT MY PROBLEM IS : I   COULD NOT   TRANSFER MULTIPLE   DATA ENTRIES   FOR A PARTICULAR FIELD.
FOR EXAMPLE : IN TABLE EKKO THERE ARE   FOUR EBELN-4900006375 AND FOR THAT DIFFERENT EBELP S ARE
PRESENT. I COULD TRANSFER ONLY THE FIRST ENTRY , THAT IS : EBELN - 4900006375 AND   EBELP - 0010,
AFTER THAT THE ZTABLE IS NOT GETTING UPDATED TO EBELN-4900006375 FOR EBELP - 0020 AND SO ON.
I HAVE TRIED ALL THE ' MODIFY, INSERT, UPDATE ' STATEMENTS. I HAVE USED AT - USERCOMMAND - HIDE AND CHECKBOXES.
   PLEASE   SUGGEST   A   SAMPLE   CODE   FOR   THIS.

There are actually 5 queries in this report now. From what I understand about a union query, I don't think it will work here because the data being returned in each of the queries is so different. I basically need to know how to make all the criteria for each individual to be displayed before proceeding to the next data set, which will include the same data as the first, but for the next employee, and so on. I need to basically create a repeating frame with each individual's respective data I guess, but every time I do, it tells me that it's referencing an invalid group.

You can go to your Endeca-Server domain home e.g.($WEBLOGIC-HOME$/user_projects/domains/endeca_server_domain/EndecaServer/bin)
run

create a new file from the output just with the domains that you want to delete and then create a loop

Remember that this can not be undone, unless you have a backup.

The following piece of code which has been working for the
past five years suddenly started giving me the following error:

We have recenlty moved this site to a new server. Could this
error be related to their CFAdmin settings? Eveything else on the
site seems to be working fine. Or am I using an outdated tag or

I am working on a object which have multiple webdynpro applications for single webdynnpro component.How to assign a different functionality to each application bcoz when we right click on webdynnpro component and select create webdynpro applications ,it just creates a application how so we assign diff functionality to each of them .Also in the parameter tab of the webdynpro applications ,there is a diff config id mentioned for each application.what is its relavance .

Go to SPRO --> IMG --> Materials Management --> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory --> Plant Parameters.
Tick Create storage locations automatically. System will extend the material to the storage location maintained in the transaction.

i am working with ods 0fiap_003 info source overview u can see for 0comp_code
Company Code: Attributes and Tests (Flexible Update) this is a transaction data data source.
G/L Account: Attributes (Flexible Update) this is a transaction data data source
G/L Account: Texts (Flexible Update) 0GL_ACCOUNT_TEXT this is a transaction data data source
and there r master data data sources for these objects
G/L Account hierarchy text attributes r available.
so only for 0gl_account 5 data sources available.
3 master data ds.2 flexible data trans data data sources.same for comp code.
so how can we map for these 5 dsources in this scenario.
i am going to create process chains for master data(3) transaction data(1).
should i put trans .data info packages in the transaction data process chain
ex: G/L Account: Attributes (Flexible Update) this one.
plz suggest me

Hi Sri,
There can be multiple datasources assigned to a single master object. Only they should be unique per source system.
Regarding process chain, u should include the infopackage for transaction data in trans data process chain. This is because ur job scheduling for master and transaction load would differ. So the process chains should be separate.

Multiple master regions for single detail

I am trying to created a master / detail with spry. the problem is that I need to have the master area grouped in three different sections separated by titles and each title would have styling including background image.
I can think of two different ways of doing it but each one has it's own problems:
1. create mulitiple master regions with different data sources that would update a single detail region. I simply do not know how to do this.
2. add styl sheet to the .html that has the data table for the dataset. the problem is that the dataset only caries the data through but not the styling associated with it.
I am new to this and any kind of help is realy appreciated.

I didn't see any multiple dataset detail regions in your page.
Also this might a other solution for you, the Spry DataSet Shell;
It allows you to swap between different datasets.

I have an issue wwith smart form. i Designed a Smarform with main window but each line item have again multilpe line items.Example.My smartform should print like this

IN the above example Sno and Descriptions are from one internal table and Specifcations are form
other internal table and both the tables are linked with one common field.

Either you cam merge in the driver program as said before -this is the best option.
OR in smartform:
Create a line type with columns for sno ,descr ,specification.
Use a DATA TABLE for the first internal table with the above line type and fill the first 2 columns.
and a LOOP inside the data table's 3rd column for specifications with the common field in where condition.
eg
first table - DATA TABLE
HEAD
MAIN
|___ linetype
          |-cel1
              |-Sno-text
          |-cel2
              |-Descriptions text
          |-cel3-Specifications
                |__loop for second table in where condition - match common fields.
                      |-text for Specifications

Data Security for single operating unit

Hi,
We have only one OU implemented and have two businesses X and Y. Now, Y deals with patient healthcare information so they are subject to HIPAA regulations, but X is not. A business requirement was defined that X users should not have access to Y customer data, but currently the only way we were aware of separating data within Oracle is through operating units. Multiple operating units is not an option so we need some soluion around it.

Sorry for the late response...We'll have the data,say for customers, in our database all with the same OU. But at the same time, we need to segregate the data so that X business can't see Y's customers and vice versa. I know this is possible through the OLS but wanted to weigh different and easy to implement options, as we already have a huge set of data that we need to segregate based on business.

Multiple email addresses for single characteristics in Email Bursting

Hello Experts,
We have requirement of Bursting email to external sales representative with only their relevent data.
We have used Bex Broadcaster with email Bursting as distribution type . But the problem is we have to send out
email to multiple sales reps for a particular sales rep i.e for a particular Sales rep we have to maintain multiple
email ids of sales rep and infoObj can have only 60 chars long. So I cannot put more than one email id.
Is there any work around to overcome this difficulty.
Also I could have use individula schedule but number of schedleis very high around 200.

I understand you issue and I dont think It can be solved in BW as they system is not expecting the users email address to be more that 60 chars, however you could create a rule in outlook (or whatever mail application you use) to forward all emails containing this header to the other email addresses. Thats my only idea

How to use multiple tape drive for single filesystem on single client.

Hello All.
I want to backup single filesystem with multiple tape drive.
Incase of Symantec veritas netbackup "NEW_STREAM" for multi-stream backup.
Backup client has a single backup filesystem like /data1 directory with 4 LTO6 drives.
/data1 directory doesn't have a sub-direcotry, just present a files.
If /data1 directory has a sub-directory like /data1/aaa, /data1/bbb, /data1/ccc , Is it possible to use multiple drives?
Please anybody answer the questions.
