OIM 9.1.0.1 installation issue in weblogic

OIM:9.1.0.1,DB:11g and weblogic 10.3.2 on linux 5.3 32 bit
After installtion not able to find xlwebapp in admin console.
When I search xlwebapp in /u01

Please let me know this is correct or not.
Its looks like xlwebapp not deployed in weblogic.

First, do a search for .ear files as well, that's where the xellerate app is going to be, not in a war file.
Weblogic should have 2 apps deployed: Nexaweb and Xellerate and those apps' files will be in
xellerate/OIMApplications/
That folder has : WLNexaweb.ear and WLXerateFull.ear for me.
If those don't exist, you can try the patch script, which will recompile and redeploy:
switch to xellerate/setup/
run ./patch_weblogic.sh [weblogicpassword] [oimdbpassword] (i think)
You can find detailed instructions on the patch script if u google it, search the install docs, or specifically where I read about it, in ANY of the upgrade patches, such as 9102 upgrade or BP11upgrade, etc... those docs have a section for what to do when the patching fails and they tell you to delete some files (precompile, etc..) and run the patch script again. I've done this a few times and it's worked for me.

Cannot delete organization OIM 9.1.0.2 BP09

I created organization in OIM through admin console. I tried to delete it but without success. The status is changed to "deleted" but it is still there.
Is there a way to delete it permanently?

The base definition should be in the AGS table.
You could always keep the data in the row and just reinsert it later but I would really recommend simply recreating the organization through the OIM GUI.
Please note that there are lots and lots of places where the organization key is referenced so deleting an organization that has been referenced by anything would cause major consistency issues in the OIM database so I would think twice (and thrice) about if I really want to do this.

Patch_weblogic deletes WLNexaweb.ear - OIM 9.1.0.2 BP09 - please help

Steps to reproduce:
1.Copy <OIM_HOME>/xellerate/webapps/xlWebApp.war to a separate location.
2. Extract the archive, add image, change jsp.
3. Rebuild xlWebApp.war and copy to <OIM_HOME>/xellerate/webapps/xlWebApp.war
4. run patch_weblogic.cmd
as a result of the patch_weblogic execution the WLNexaweb.ear is deleted from OIMApplications directory.

Trying to understand whether we need an LDAP in an HA architecture with [OIM/SOA] - [OIM/SOA/Admin]?

Does not mention this requirement, in fact it specifically says you only need an LDAP if: "only for LDAPSync-enabled Oracle Identity Manager installations and for Oracle Identity Manager installations that integrate with Oracle Access Manager. "
However I have seen mention of issues with viewing tasks in SOA from OIM:

Stating then when using OIM, SOA and an isolated Admin server, you need to switch to a proper LDAP as a credential and policy store:

Note that you can use the internal LDAP that comes with WebLogic, for your users and groups if you want.
When you have multiple domains, you have a problem with this set-up as the internal LDAP is coupled to
a specific domain. This means that users you created in one domain are not visible in the other. When using
a separate LDAP that contains the users. You can configure in each domain an authenticator that points
to the LDAP. In this way you can share to user accross multiple domains.
When you are planning to use one domain you can stick with the internal LDAP if you want.

which might help you in how to proceed.

Is OIM 9.1.0.1 certified for 10.1.0.7 database?

Per documentation OIM 9.1.0.1 is certified for Oracle 11g Enterprise edition 11.1.0.6 and later patch sets.
Does this include 10.1.0.7 or only 11.1.0.6 patch set x are certified.

OIM Java Compatibility Question

We have OIM 9.1.0.2 BP07 deployed in Weblogic 10.3.0 in test env. Our java version is JDK 1.6.0_10. All our adapters are compiled in this version. We are using this version of java since 1 year.
Now we are moving to production, and we are not able to get exact java version which we used in test env in internet. My question is if I install java which is certified by weblogic 10.3(i.e 1.6.0_05) then will I face any issues in OIM? is it mandatory to use exact version of java from one env to another?

Does not make any difference with sub versions. The version compatibility comes into picture at a higher level like JDK 1.5 or JDK 1.6.
Consider the connector development team, they develop connectors on JDK 1.6 (could be any sub version) and when a customer uses that OOTB connector, they can use any of those sub-versions within JDK 1.6.
Also the fact that if its your custom adapters then you should be aware that what all java functions you are using and I assume it would be the basic ones, so the version difference should not bring in any issues. If its OOTB connector then see the certification matrix as well.

Error in OIM 9.1.0.1 Installation

Hi All,
I am trying to install OIM using the following configuration:
OS: Windows Server 2003 SP2
JDK: Sun jdk 6 update 10
Database: Oracle 10g (10.2.0.1.0)
OIM: 9.1.0.1
Applicaton Server: Oracle Weblogic 10.3/JBOSS 4.2.3 (I have tried on both)
But in the end of the installation, I am getting the following error:
"Oracle Identity Manager has found that EncryptConfiguration.bat failed" and no xlStartServer file gets created..
I did not get any error during schema creation.
However in encryptconfiguration.log file, I am getting "Path is Incorrect!!" in the last line.
I have already tried all the options that have been posted for the same type of error but nothing helps.
Please let me know if anyone has idea about the same.

Inconsistent behavior importing OIM 9.1.0.2 BP20 to OIA 11gR1 - 11.1.1.5

We are building our OIM/OIA integration - preferred method. We are Weblogic 10.3.5.0 -- OIA 11gR1 - 11.1.1.5 -- OIM 9.1.0.2 BP20 - Based on experience and documentation, I think perhaps the 11g to 11g integration is the truly preferred method.
During testing we found that while the OIM resource had > 600 entitlements associated, only two came over to OIA upon policy import. No errors were thrown. Is there a limitation to the number of attributes that can be imported to OIA?
We will be defining roles in OIA and importing them to OIM, and are concerned about how OIA will respond to attributes defined in the OIA app prior to OIM forms having knowledge of them - can we define attributes if they have not yet been defined on a form in OIM?
What behavior should we be expecting?

AD Password Sync connector 9.1.1 With OIM 11g R2 - ERROR OVER SSL

I have set up AD password sync with from AD to OIM 11G R2
The password syncs from AD to OIM 11G R2 on non ssl port 389.
But if fails on SSL Port 636.

Steps Carried Out thus far:_
AD is up and running.
Configured AD Password Sync Connector on 636 and selected ssl.
Created Certificate on OIM host, configured custom identity key store on weblogic. Restarted Weblogic.
Imported Certificate to AD. After this, restarted the AD
I can Telnet port 636 from OIM Box and also connect to AD through LDAP Browser on 636 and view OU and CN, so this seems fine.
Provisioning from OIM through Connector Server to AD works over SSL and this works fine.
Help would be appreciated.

This question is now been fixed.
Instead of explicitly stating 636 for SSL,
Use the same port 389 for ssl and also configured oim port to be 140001 which is the ssl port for oim in the configuration of OIM Password Sync.
Export Certificates from AD to java security keystore and to weblogic keystore
Export .pem certificate created on OIM host machine to AD.
Restart weblogic, oim and AD
Everything would work fine.

I have installed OIM 11g & was working fine but suddenly i am getting errors while starting OIM, following is the error when i start weblogic
Failed to initialize the application 'oracle.soa.ext [LibSpecVersion=11.1.1,LibImplVersion=11.1.1]' due to error weblogic.management.DeploymentException: [Deployer:149003]Unable to access application source information in '/home/labuser/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_SOA1/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/oracle.soa.ext.jar' for application 'oracle.soa.ext [LibSpecVersion=11.1.1,LibImplVersion=11.1.1]'. The specific error is: [Deployer:149158]No application files exist at '/home/labuser/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_SOA1/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/oracle.soa.ext.jar'...
The path which is shown above[home/labuser/Oracle/Middleware/] is not the correct path of my OIM installation & i dont know why it is going on this wrong path.
I also tried to delete tmp folder from <mydomain>/servers/AdminServer/ , but it didn't work.
Same error is also thrown when i start OIM server.

OIM - SOA 11g R1 Integration Issue

I am facing an integration issue in my newly set up Dev environment .
We have single node OIM and SOA environment . I was executing the basic connectivity checks to ensure that the environment is good and ready for use .
When I ran the SOA-OIM Configuration test (http://i.tinyuploads.com/M1zyaP.jpg ) in the environment from Diagnostic Dashboard, it failed .
I have verified the URLs from EM and also in MDS (in oim-config.xml) file . All entries seem to be there , not sure why its failing ? Any pointers ??
I have checked the rmi and soap urls here Application Defined MBeans ->oracle.iam->Server (OIM ServerName)->Application:oim->XML Config->Config->XMLConfig.SOAConfig->SOAConfig and they looked perfectly fine .
Any clues ??

did you tried accessing the oim and soa urls:
1. http://<hostname>:<port>/oim (login with xelsysadm user)
2. http://<hostname>:<port>/soa-infra (login with weblogic user)
Are you able to login to both urls.

Reconfigure existing OIM on fresh weblogic Installation

Are u able to login to the Weblogic Admin Console by using the URL
http://<hostname>:7001/console.
If Yes, then go to the deployed Applications and repdeply xellerate Application.
If No, then its time to reinstall Weblogic and OIM
