Is opportunity management available in the Standard Edition ?

Is opportunity management available in the Standard Edition (100$) of Fusion CRM(Sales and Marketing) cloud version?
Also, is Fusion Base CRM same as the standard edition or does it refer to something else ?
Thanks

  • XA Libs available in 10g Standard Edition?

    Hello,
I'm a bit confused about the availability of XA support in the different versions of Oracle 10g. Are the XA Libs (oraxa10.lib, xa.h) available (and licensed) in the Standard Edition or Standard Edition One?
Docs don't give a reliable answer:
The Feature Table says 'Y' for "Distributed queries/transactions" for all editions - but is XA meant here?
    http://oracle-doku.de/oracle_10g_documentation/appdev.101/b10779/ociadwin.htm
"The Oracle XA Library is automatically installed as part of Enterprise Edition."
Does that mean other editions don't include it?
    OTOH...
    http://oracle-doku.de/oracle_10g_documentation/appdev.101/b10795/adfns_xa.htm
"requirements - None. The functionality to support XA is part of both Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition."
    Any hints?

"The Oracle XA Library is automatically installed as
    part of Enterprise Edition."
Does that mean other editions don't include it?Considering the "functionality ... is part of SE and EE", perhaps the above means just that a standard EE install type installs XA libs, in other cases (Std, Custom) you need to explicitly select some component for libs etc. to be installed.
But instead of guessing, try and see if you have the time :)

  • I want to try out the Standard edition of Acrobat XI. What do I do?

I want to try out the Standard edition of Acrobat before purchasing to see if it is right for my company, but the only available trial is for the Pro edition. I don't want to commit to purchasing the Standard edition before trying out that specific edition, since it will have less features than the Pro edition. I want to avoid a scenario where I pay for the Standard edition, find out it doesn't have the features I need, and then pay again for the Pro edition. Advice, anyone?

Also wondering if, when I downloaded the Standard edition, there would be the option to upgrade to Acrobat XI Pro while only having to pay the difference between the two prices, rather than paying the full price after having already purchased the Standard edition? Can anyone confirm whether this would be a possibility?

  • Ordered Thetharhythm Limited Edition but got the standard edition instead

I'm thinking the game has the same SKUs and the website does say Limited Edition but i got the standard edition instead. I'd like to play the game but I'm wondering if there's a way i can get an LE or if I should just return my copy.

    Hello Geodude,
First, my apologies for the late response here! Things get a bit crazy around the Holidays, so I appreciate your patience while awaiting a response from us. With that, I’m sorry to hear that you may have received a standard version of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, especially if you ordered the Limited Edition.
Due to the delay in response, it’s quite possible you’ve made a determination here. If not, checking with your local store to see if they have the Limited Edition of the game available wouldn’t be a bad route to go! Returning the game is definitely an option as well, as you acknowledged, although we usually hope for a resolution, so you don’t have to go that route!
If you still need help here, please don’t hesitate to send me a private message using the link in my signature.

  • Problem Moving From the Standard Edition to the Enterprise Edition

    Hi !
I am trying to move from Oracle 10g R2 10.2.0.1 Standard Edition to Oracle 10g R2 10.2.0.1 Enterprise Edition.
Platform is MS Windows XP PRO SP2
I follow all steps described in "Oracle® Database Upgrade Guide 10g Release 2 (10.2)" - section Moving From the Standard Edition to the Enterprise Edition.
    http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14238/intro.htm#sthref10
The problem is that after update from St. edition to Ent. edition when I run:
    select * from v$version - I see :
    Connected to:
    Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
while I expect to see something like .....
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production With the Partitioning, OLAP and Data Mining Scoring Engine options
Am I wrong ? Why information in view v$version does not update after this ?
    Regards,
    Phil

In your document you refer to the upgrade guide, this upgrade guide applies when you are upgrading from previous Oracle releases to 10g, not SE->EE.
If you want a procedure to upgrade the SE to EE, then follow this metalink note:
"How to Upgrade from Standard to Enterprise Edition ?
    Doc ID:      Note:117048.1"
If you performed this specific upgrade and you still see this error, then probably you are facing a bug, similar to the one described in "5844095", where the version is changed form SE->EE after 10.2.0.3 patchset application.
In your case it should be enough to apply 10.2.0.3 patchset to show it properly.

It is not possible to do this in the transaction AS91. When you are doing the take over during a fiscal year you have to go from the tab Asset values to Transactions and fill in there the ttype for deactivation.
Other wise you have to create a LSMW that is doing this deactivation after the upload

  • OBI11g also available for Standard Edition?

    Hi,
I would like to know if the new version of Oracle Business Intelligence 11g will be also available for the Standard Edition or if clients need to migrate to the Enterprise Edition to move to the 11g version.
    Thank you in advance!

Oracle licensing questions should be directed to, and answered by, Oracle Corp. Suffice to say that there does not appear to be an OBISE1 for 11g at this time.

  • Implementing replication in Oracle 10&11 Standard Edition

I am implementing an oracle based application which will run under Linux/Oracle 10gr2 standard edition and which will soon be upgraded to Oracle 11g standard edition.
One of the requirements of the application is that a hot standby must be provided. To provide the hot standby, I must implement some sort of replication mechanism, but the nice replication features (data guard, streams, advanced replication, basic replication) are only available with Oracle enterprise edition.
    Two questions:
    1. It appears that I will be building a home-made replication mechanisms. I am planning on using insert/update/delete triggers and dblinks to trap database updates and propogate them to the standby server. (alternatively, may write them to files as SQL statements and have the second server load the files). Is their a better way to implement replication in Oracle SE. (esp. a feature of Oracle SE that I could be using to do this?).
    2. Oracle Advanced and Basic Replication are not shown in the Oracle 11 Editions Description web page which lists the availability of features across the various oracle versions. I assume it is still supported in Oracle 11, but is Oracle Streams now the "best practice" for implementing replication (i.e. instead of advanced replication?)
    Thanks in advance,
    Werner

    1) Having database triggers that use a database link is an exceptionally poor way of implementing a hot standby. If the database link goes down, or if the remote database is unavailable, the trigger will generate an exception and the parent transaction will be rolled back. Which means that the system is available only if both databases are available and the network between them is available, which is exactly the opposite of what a hot standby would be expected to provide.
    2) You most likely want to set up a manual DataGuard-like setup. Clone the database from one machine to another, keep the standby database in managed recovery mode, and copy archived log files from the primary to the standby periodically. You'll have to script that, of course, but that shouldn't be insurmountable.
    3) Basic replication (one-way materialized views) are available in the standard edition, but probably aren't the sort of thing you'd want to use to build a hot standby.

  • Create context in Oracle 9i Standard Edition

    Hi,
I am using application context for dynamic queries in 9i Enterprise edition. I need to know if the application context feature is also supported in the Standard Edition. I do not have access to a SE database to test. Is CREATE CONTEXT and DBMS_SESSION.SET_CONTEXT standard functions?
    thanks,

We have SE database here. CONTEXTs are part of core database and are available in the Standard Edition of Oracle database.

  • Lync Standard Edition Server pairing -- Archiving and monitoring collocated but Single SQL backend

    Hi,
I have a scenario where in ---we have Two Standard Edition Servers ( SE1 and SE2) with 1K users each ( Total 2K in one Site) paired to enable High Availability. The Standard Edition Server has archiving and monitoring and mediation server collocated.
For archiving + monitoring database we have a Seperate SQL enterprise edition server.
    Quetions:
    1. Can we use single SQL Enterprise Edition as backend for (archiving and monitoring ) for both SE1 and SE2 ?
    2. If yes, do we need two seperate instances?
    3. If not, could you please suggest the best possible solution in such an environment ?
    Regards,
    Archana Rao

    Hi ArchanaVR,
Agree with Michael, and add some more details.
By default, the SQL Server Express back-end database is collocated on the Standard Edition server. You cannot move it to a separate computer. With one exception, you cannot collocate other databases on the Standard Edition server. If you choose to deploy
Persistent Chat Server on a Standard Edition server, you can collocate the Persistent chat database and the Persistent Chat Compliance database on the same Standard Edition server.
You can collocate each of the following databases on a single database server:
    Monitoring database
    Archiving database
A back-end database for an Enterprise Edition Front End pool
You can collocate any or any or all of these databases in a single SQL instance or use a separate SQL instances for each, with the following limitations:
Each SQL instance can contain only a single back-end database (for an Enterprise Edition Front End pool), single Monitoring database, single Archiving database, single persistent chat database, and single persistent chat compliance database.
The database server cannot support more than one Enterprise Edition Front End pool, one server running Archiving, one server running Monitoring, single Persistent Chat database, and single Persistent Chat compliance database, but it can support one of each,
regardless of whether the databases use the same instance of SQL Server or separate instances of SQL Server.
