Is Oracle AS going away and is Weblogic replacing it?

I haven't been able to find anything definitive, but does anyone know if Oracle AS, Application Server, going away and is Weblogic replacing it?

Yes your cabinet 10 on the Crediton exchange has already been installed and linked with a FTTC DSLAM cabinet (making it able to provide FTTC fibre broadband) and has been Accepting FTTC orders since December 2013. PCP10 (with it's DSLAM cabinet within 100meters of it) is locate on the junction of Commercial Road and the A3072.
However by the looks of things your are just too far away to obtain a FTTC (VDSL2) connection, meaning FTTC fibre broadband is not available to you.

When I tap a photo in my iPhone photo gallery, the photo appears but there is always a "this movie format not supported" alert and then the alert goes away and the photo appears. These are photos I've taken with the iPhone and aren't even movies.

It's very odd. I take photos with my iPhone and then later go to view the photos in the Photo Gallery on my iPhone. The photos to appear, but I keep getting "this movie format not supported" alerts, even though I am looking at photos taken by my iPhone. The alert appears briefly just after the photo appears and then the alert goes away and I can see the photo. They are just still photos and not movies. Why wouldn't the iPhone recognize the format of photos it is taking?

That thread helped for a time. But now it seems as though my computer is back to slow again. But, some of the jargon is over my head as well. Not sure I knew quoite everything they were talking about. But thanks a lot for that, it helped I probably just need to reread it and follow the instructions again. Thanks so much.

I tried this, but no luck. I went to Previous System>Users. There is nothing inside the "Users" folder, so I hit a dead end.
I can find my new e-mails -- those that came in since I re-installed the system -- in my NEW system (which I did to see if I was correctly understanding the advice), by going to Users>Home>Library>Mail>POP account name>Inbox.
Let me add a new question: I am running PhotoShop C3. It opens OK, and I can use it, but when it opens I get this message: "One or more files for Adobe Application Support folder are missing. Please re-run the PhotoShop installer."
I don't like re-installing working programs if I can avoid it, because it always seems to lead to other issues. Any idea what files are missing, and where it/they might be in the Previous System folder?

For about the last month when I shut down I get a window that says "Continue the installation Choose abort if you wish to cancel the installation ABORT   YES". I have looked to see if there are any downloads pending or if there are any updates trying to download. I am very puzzled.

Genieo Adware is installed. Removing it will help.

hey there, so my friends skype goes away after a few minutes and then shows as online, and then back to away, it happens every 2-5 minutes. we even tested it out and i checked on my phone and it was as online, afteer a few minutes his skype changed to away and without touching his phone at all, it went back as online. is this some type of glitch? its so annoying to know when the other person is online or not.

I think in this scenarion, you will not be able to avoid getting a Mexican mobile number.
If I understood it correctly, the steps you have described are correct but then you'd also have to set up call forwarding from the Skype account associated with your Skype Number (a US Skype Number) to a Mexican mobile number. In this way you'll be able to answer them without needing WiFi.
The costs that you will incure:
- forwarding costs from AT&T to your Skype Number
- cost of a Skype number
- forwarding calls from Skype to a Mexican mobile (much lower than roaming rates)
The only bit i'm sceptical about is the possibility of forwarding your AT&T calls to your Skype Number - something you might have to wait for someone else to comment on (sorry - thse products are not my area of expertise).

I downloaded Yahoo mail and have had nothing but trouble. If i reply to an email, the original email message goes away and I need it, it is my business.

If I reply to an email instead of composing a new one, the original message is gone. It is my business. Yahoo mail then will not just the original message, it has all the conversations between me and my customer.
Further, yahoo made itself my default browser. My default has been mozilla firefox for many years but i cannot even pull up firefox anymore.
I am about to quit yahoo and go through the inconvenience of having all my customers change my name again. I have a mac, did the preferences to identify firefox as default but yahoo is still there

You should be able to switch your Firefox settings to your preferred home page and search engine. For example, this extension will restore Google as your search engine, the built-in home page as your home page, and the normal "new tab" page: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/
But you also need to check for any Yahoo-specific add-ons that could keep driving your settings back to Yahoo. You can do that on the Add-ons page. Either:

This issue can be caused by an old bitmap version of the Helvetica or Geneva font or (bitmap) fonts that Firefox can't display in that size.
Firefox can't display some old bitmap fonts in a larger size and displays gibberish instead.
You can test that by zooming out (View > Zoom > Zoom Out, Ctrl -) to make the text smaller.
Uninstall (remove) all variants of that not working font to make Firefox use another font or see if you can find a True type version that doesn't show the problem.
There have also been fonts with a Chinese name reported that identify themselves as Helvetica, so check that as well.
Use this test to see if the Helvetica font is causing it (Copy & Paste the code in the location bar and press Enter):

You should reset the network.http prefs that show user set on the about:config page. 
Not all websites support http pipelining and if they do not then you can have issues with images or other problems.

Realtek HD Audio - Sound goes away and speakers crackle.

Has anyone found a solution to this yet. I've tried everything that anyone has mentioned regarding losing my sound. I've installed drivers from HP's site and from Realtek's. I've tried running the sound troubleshooter. I've enabled onboard audio from the BIOS settings. Nothing has worked. Is this a conflict with Windows 7?

Has anyone found a solution to this yet. I cannot figure out what's going on with my audio. It appears that the Realtek Hardware manager will sometimes recognize that the speakers are plugged in and sometimes won't. Sometimes it notifies me that they are plugged in, and then 1 second later says that they aren't. Then it keeps doing that back and forth until I close the message. I've tried everything I can think of, and all suggestions I've been given. Will buying an external sound card be the best solution at this point?

The sound on my iPhone 4S isn't working. When headphones are plugged in you can listen to music an watch videos but when you take the headphones out the option to adjust volume goes away and you can't hear music or videos. Any idea how to fix this?

The wireless connection keeps going away and I need to power off and on the time capsule to get the wifi network up

Time Capsule wifi access very poor. it keeps disconnecting and i need to power on and off thr router to get the wifi connection back again. When it works its so slow, it works only in the roms nearby and not even upstairs in my home!

I cannot work from the serial number.. I need the model number. A1xxx in the rubber .. in the rubber.. for Gen1-3.. 2010 is probably Gen3 but can be early Gen4.

Wireless names.. short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.. yes.. your names are wrong.. from my point of view.. more they do not obey the rules.. no spaces.

Fix wireless channels.. option page in wireless are of utility.. you need to spend more time in the utility so you know what is there.
Location is everything.. sometimes you simply need more than one device.. wireless has limited range. Use ethernet or EOP - homeplug adapters to place another AP in area closer to your position.

With th upgrade page displayed for maverick 10.10.2 I click on down load. What you are experiencing is 100% related to Malware.
