Is Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3 certified with Oracle Application Server Single Signon 10.1.4.3.0 on Linux x86-64 SLES 11 (not SLES 10) ?
I do see Oracle Application Server Single Signon 10.1.4.3.0 listed on the certification matrix for R12.1.3 , however when I click on the OAS, it does not list SLES 11 , it only lists SLES10
Database is 11.2.0.3.0

Oracle Application Server Single Signon 10.1.4.3.0 is certified on SLES 9/10 only and it is not certified on SLES 11 for (64-bit).

My production apps (Oracle E-Business Suite 12.0.6) and db (Oracle Database 10.2.0.4.0) tiers reside on their own Redhat 4.6 servers. I have a new server that I am in the process of installing Oracle Linux 5.5 on for hosting a TEST instance - both apps and db tiers. Once the OS is installed I will clone production to it either using rapidclone or rman duplicate. Where can I learn what if any packages I need to install before cloning to my new Oracle 5.5 Linux server?

Hi,
I want to download Portuguese language pack for Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.
However on Oracle E-Delivery, I could not find any language pack for downloading (as it was available for OEBS 11i)
Is there any change in installing language pack on Oracle E-Business Suite 12/12.1 as compared to 11i.
Should i download complete Oracle E-Buisiness Suite installer by selecting the Portuguese language on first page of Oracle E-Delivery?
Please guide.

This is Hitesh Parsawala. I am working as a SAP B1 Project Head. Till date I have completed 4 Implementation Projects. Basically i am a functional Consultant.
But as SAP B1 Product has various contraints and Limitations hence i have found interest in Oracle E - Business Suite and make my career in Oracle EBS.
So can any body give brief about the modules covered in Oracle E-Business Suite. And just brief me about Oracle EBS.
Also can anybody suggest which are modules covered in Functional side in Oracle EBS (Especially in the MM and SD ) side.
Can anybody tell me is it possible for me to shift myself from SAP B1 to Oracle E-Business Suite. Also is it possible for me to learn the Technical Module in Oracle EBS. And which are Technical Modules covered in Oracle EBS.

I want to install Oracle E Business Suite R12 on my laptop with the following configuration. Please review and check if it's supported or not.
*Operating System: Windows 7 Home Basic
Processor: Intel(R) Core 2 Duo CPU T5870 @2.00GHz 2.00GHz
Installed memory(RAM) : 3.00 GB
System Type: 32-bit Operating System*
As I don't have sufficient free hard disk space, I plan to use an external hard drive. However, I can't increase the RAM as my laptop is under warranty.
If above configuration is not suitable, please suggest alternatives.

Report won't print to the end of width in Oracle E-Business Suite

Hello all,
I desperately need help to setup Reports 6i layout. I created a report for a 8.3 x 11.69" and it seems fine when I print directly from Reports Developer but when I register it in Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2 it won't print to the end of page width. It always cut the print in about 3/4 of page width. I already setup the report as a text and pdf but still no success. Enlarge the width and height of the report won't help either. Anyone can suggest something to help? Thanks.

Let me update you that one of our client is looking to upgrade their Oracle E-Business Suit Verion from R12.0.6 to R12.1.3. and database version from 10.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.2.

API for creating new User in Oracle E-Business Suite through BPEL

Hello,
I would like to use a BPEL process to create a new User in Oracle E-Business Suite. In the Integration Repository I was able to find an API called FND_USER_PKG/LOAD_ROW that creates/updates Application's User data. Is this the API I should be using? If so, I would like to better understand how to use this API.
I have created a simple BPEL process and added an Oracle Application Service, which uses this FND_USER_PKG/LOAD_ROW API. I set the following parameter before Invoking the Oracle Application Service: X_USER_NAME, X_ENCRYPTED_USER_PASSWORD and X_START_DATE. When I run the BPEL process I get the following error. I suspect that I am not passing all the required input parameters. Does anyone have any sample data I can use to get this API to load correctly? If I am using the wrong API, please let me know.
