Q: Can I still get ATG certified? What should I do?
Ans: As of February 28, 2011, Oracle retired the current ATG Certification Program. This includes the ATG Certified Commerce Platform Developer credential and the following exams associated with this credential:
    * ATG Commerce Developer Exam
    * ATG Platform Fundamentals Developer Exam
In the future, there may be an ATG offering through the Oracle Partner Network (OPN) Certified Specialist Certification offerings. Check the Oracle Certification Program website for news about ATG certification.

Does Apple provide any certification for Mobile Application testing (iOS)
Kindly share the details of any Mobile Application testing certification provided by Apple.

I'm not aware of any testing done by Apple except as part of the app approval process:

If you have questions about the review process, though, you can contact Apple via the contact links on that page.

  • Sample Data For Primavera Unifier

    Hi all,
Are there sample data available for use with Primavera Unifier? I could not locate on edelivery.oracle.com or on My Oracle Support. Does anyone knows when that will be made available?
    Sachin Gupta

There are packages of pre-defined BP's available on edelivery, but as another post mentions, there is no "sampe" data or setup because Unifier is a platform and it is expected that each client will have their own very customized needs for data setup and configuration.  Where P6 and PCM provide sample projects based on some standard construction methodologies, Unifier provides more of an blank canvas to build exactly what the client wants rather than fit into a standard pre-existing methodology.
I'm sure this is the primary reason that you haven't seen them publish any sample configuration/setup of the Company Workspace/Shell.
The other consideration here is that there are areas in Unifier that cannot be simply "deleted" once things are set up--which would mean that you might be faced with seeing things in your environment that are no longer valid for your workspace.

There is an Identity Administration and Analytics Certification available. This certification covers Oracle Identity Manager 11g and Oracle Identity Analytics 11g, with more focus on Oracle Identity Analytics.
You can find details about the certification path on our website here: http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=426

  • Oracle database 11g certification for Java developer

    Hello,
I'm Java developer, OCPJP 6 ( Oracle Certified Professional, Java Programmer +6+ ) and
I decided to pass exams: 1Z0-051 and 1Z0-052 to get OCA ( Oracle Database +11g+ Administrator Certified Associate ) certificate,
but I need some advice, maybe i should seek other certificate, that would be more valuable for Java developer, than OCA.
    Thanks for advice.

The answer of whether a particular certification is valuable depends on you, not the tests themselves. The Oracle Certified Master for example is an extremely prestigious certification, and I have considered seeking it at some point in the future to improve my professional credentials. However, the same certification would have absolutely no value to my wife, because she's a homemaker with no interest or intent of ever working with Oracle.
Using an example a little closer to yours, only reversed --- I work as a DBA and PL/SQL developer. On several occasions I have dabbled with Java, and took a couple of classes when I worked for Oracle. I could code in Java if I had to, but wouldn't really be good without a lot of practice. However, I've never really had a sufficient need in my work to dig in and really practice enough to use it. I considered going for the Oracle Java certifications as a means of kick-starting that and getting to the point where it was really a viable option in my development. Ultimately I decided not to because I've been working with Oracle for better than fifteen years and there has never been an occasion where I really felt a need to know Java. If I were to spend a bunch of time improving my Java skills just for the certification, there's no guarantee I would ever use them after that.
Coming back to you -- if you already need SQL and DBA skills in your work, then those certifications should be of value to you immediately. If you think that you might work (or want to work) more with SQL and DBA-level skills in the future, then they should be of value to you in the future. If you won't use the skills now or ever, then the exams do nothing but add a line to your resume (which still has value, but you must determine how much).

  • Did Oracle find any solution for caputuring images into form todate ?

Very strange oracle still dont have any java bean or some kind of thing to capture images through webcam and load it to form.
    Any Suggestions
    Thanks
    asp

    Hi there,
I have a form which has over 150 fields (from 4 tables). I have used a tab-canvas form to handle all the input - 2 screens for the fields from the first table and 1 screen each for the remaining 3 tables. I can navigate between the tabs without trouble. When everything is done, the contents of the screens are saved to the database via a menu item. Most of the fields are database items.
My point is that Oracle Form has no problems in handling
such processing and I am only using its normal default capabilities.
What type of canvas are you using? There should be no reason to use buttons to navigate betweeen screens if you are using a tab-canvas form. You should not have to use PL/SQL table to handle the data if the fields are normal database columns.
    Regards,
    John
