Is possible move folders in menu in N95?

in other version Office folder is in Root folder,
is possible move this to root folder?
Already, is possible create other folder in root and rename to office, but image folder is lost.Message Edited by cocute on 28-Nov-200706:36 PM

Yeh I think so, but it is a bit of a pain.
1. Create a new folder in root called Office.
2. Go to Applications/Office
3. highlight an application and then select Options/Move to folder.
NOTE: Do not select Root folder: for the next step but:-
4. Browse (Scroll down to the new "Office" directory) then select "Move"
5. Do this for each App in the original Office directory, and then you should be able to delete the original Applications/Office directory.
Note: I think you can only delete an empty directory.
Also there is a link to New_Menu_Structure.SIS file that will re-create the new V20.0.0.015 directory structure after restoring data after the upgrade. This is at:- http://europe.nokia.com/A4323689
Scroll down to Nokia N95 Software Update, where you will find the link.
When I restored my data from memory card after the V20.... upgrade, it changed the directory structure from the new V20.... structure back to how it was in V12.....
I assume, the .sis file recreates the new directory structure.
Some things in life are guaranteed, but can you claim on them?

  • How do I move folders with subfolders (containing pdf files) from my pc to ipad 3 to use in adobe reader

How do I move folders with subfolders (containing pdf files) from my pc to ipad 3 to use in adobe reader

You need to connect the ipad to the computer and open itunes.
Open the ipad and go into settings, icloud. Tap on "Documents and Data" and turn that on to sync to icloud.
Now go back into itunes and it should pick up your ipad already and tap on the ipad connection. There will pop up some taps on the center screen for sync options. Go thru each one (summary, info, apps, music, tv shows, podcasts, itunesU, books and photos).....you want to click on "Books".
To the left click the arrow next to the ipad under Devices.
The arrow will point down and open the sub menu, click on the "Books" sub menu here. You will see in the center window current books, PDF currently on the ipad.
Next go to the top and click on "File"  (file, edit, view, controls, store, advanced, help) and click on "add folder to library"...... it will bring up your computer file system in a seperate window. File the folder your looking for and add it. This should get the folder set up to sync onto ipad thru itunes.
For additional ease in doing things on the middle window of itunes click back on summary, scroll a bit and you will see "Backup", click on "Backup to icloud". Then under "Options", check "Sync with this ipad over WiFi".
This will allow you to wirelessly sync your itunes and your ipad without having the ipad connected to the computer with a cable. You just have to be on the same wireless network.
If in itunes you add something like a pdf or photo, when your on your ipad open the Ibooks or Iphoto app and it wull update the file system to match your itunes account. The sync with with anything you do in itunes and it works the other way around also. If you save files, photos, books on the ipad, using the ipad (app store purchases, games, books)....the ipad will update to itunes next time your on the same network.
FYI - both the ipad and the computer have to be on.
Itunes updates (changes you make thru itunes), does not need itunes to be open for update content to update to the ipad. This is because it updates to the cloud.
Updates from the ipad to itunes will need itunes open on the computer. So it can sync with the cloud info.

  • Cannot copy or move folders to Public Folder

Both admins and users are unable to copy or move folders with and without content to the public folders. When trying to copy or move a folder to the root or existing subfolders in the public folders i get this error message:
I can however create folders manually, and then copy and move content as i please.
Admins are owners from top of root, users are Publishing Authors.
I though it could be quota issues, and have set a high default quota with powershell. Upon checking in powershell, the quotas are set, but in EAC the new default limits are not showing (alhtough not nearly showing full) and do not get updated either.
    Currently running Exchange 2013 CU6 on a 2012 R2 server.

    Hi,
Based on your description, some admins and users can't copy or move public folders.
Please check the permissions assigned to these affected users and compare with your permissions on public folders.
If possible, please add the Owner permissions directly to a specific public folder to check if they can copy or move public folders.
And please check if this issue affects all public folders or onle some of them.

  • Folders in menu

    hi guys ,,,
want to know how to add folders in menu and how to move
files into them ,...please simple and easy way ...
    thanks

    pretty simple.
    open file manager
tap on either the N900 or the (memory card you may have installed)
after you have done that, you will be in that particular file menu, tap the top bar where is says "File manager" with a down arrow..
    then select "new folder"
name it and then tap the return/enter key on the kb.
    done.
to transfer files into it, simple too.
if the files are on your memory card, on on the main device and you want to put them into the new folder, then find the file
you can do one of two things:
    1. tap and hold on the file, then select move, then select the folder to move it to.
    or
    2. you can tap on the top menu "File manager" , select move, and then you can select multiple files within the same folder, and after you are done selecting, tap on "move" and then select the folder you want to move them to.
and if you want to transfer from a computer, then connect in mass storage mode, and you can see all the folders on your device, you can just drag/drop or copy/paste to where you want. and even create new folders that way too.

I wanted to use the Set Up a Repair / Send In for service but it seems that the application form doesn't working.
As soon as push the Continue button, nothing happens.
Is there anybody from Apple who can check this issue please?
    Thank You.

Restoring a phone from a backup will put the device back to the state it was when the backup took place, i.e. all info that you had on that phone before using the backup will be gone.
You could try to restore the phone, which will back up the actual data on the phone, including the passcode, and use this backup to set up a new phone with. The passcode will still be the same, because it is  part of the backup.
More info here, iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
Not being able to fill in the passcode is not much different from forgetting it.
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.

    Not in iWeb itself.
You have to create these menus yourself. Start here :

Also, see podcast episode 9 of

and then add them to a webpage with the HTML Snippet.

I move folders from my internal hard drive twice to an external hard drive.  Now I believe Lr does not know how to find my photos.  What can I do to get this cleared up.

Jim has a very good suggestion. There are many factors at work here:
    1) How are you connecting the external drive to the computer?
    2) How big are files (329 x 1MB is not the same as 329 x 25MB)?
    3) What is your computer specification?
    4) Do you have any power saving settings on (in particular something that would send the computer/hard drives to sleep)?

  • LR4 from PC to Mac via ext drive - can't move folders

I'm in the process of migrating from Windows (7) to an iMac which has been a partial success re Lightroom but I'm having problems with moving folders / files within LR (4.4) and could do with some advice please.
On the Windows PC I had all of my photos on the hard-drive (with duplicate back-ups) and my intention was to move only a proportion of these onto the iMac, leaving older folders on an external drive - again with backups. To migrate to the iMac I had initial success as follows:
    1. Installed LR 4.4 on the iMac.
    2. Moved all photos onto an external drive from within LR.
    3. Copied across the lrcat and lrdta files and the presets to the iMac
    4. Started LR and loaded the copied catalogue - worked fine - see all my folders plus their question marks as expected.
    5. Was able to re-linked the folders (still on the external drive) within LR - question marks disappeared, able to access & develop folders/files on the ext drive within LR - good.
    6. Then the problems occurred when within LR I tried to move folders from the external drive to the iMac (into a top-level 'Lightroom Photos'  folder I created within Pictures) but the following then happens:
When I drag a folder up from the ext to the main drive I get the usual 'moving files on disk warning' box, click 'Move' to confirm but then I get an error message 'Could not complete the folder move. An unknown error occurred', click OK and the folder has remained on the external drive. Oddly, when I check via Finder the folder has been created within my 'Lightroom Photos' folder although it doesn't show there in LR and no photos are included in it - they're still on the hard-drive.
I did think this might be something to do with the format of the ext drive - it is shows as read only and is NFTS and I now understand this can be a problem when writing to it from an iMac - but I appear to be able to 'develop' photos on the external drive.
I did find a 'workaround' - in Finder I copied a folder directly into the 'Lightroom Photos' folder on the hard-drive and managed to link to it by clicking on the question mark originally created by the lrcat copy. Seems a bit cumbersome and I would then have to delete the originals from the ext drive but does this sound okay? And any ideas why I can't move them from the ext drive from within LR but can work on them whilst still on that drive? Thanks
    Gary

Just realised why I can 'develop' photos that are on the external drive - obviously because LR isn't editing the image is it? It's just amended the catalogue entry, so that explains that. Dumb of me not to realise that!
So does this bring me back to the problem being the NFTS formatted disk and my only solution is to copy the files within Finder and then re-link them?

  • Control-F2 "Move Focus to Menu Bar" only works occasionally

I don't want to use my trackpad too much due to a strain injury, hence I use the Control F2 "Move Focus to Menu Bar" a lot.
However this feature only works occasionally, it can work for hours and then suddenly stop working, sometimes I can fix in the Keyboard Shortcuts pref pane by unchecking and checking the "Move Focus to Menu Bar" checkbox, at other times it takes a restart of the system.
I've been a big Apple fan-boy since OS 9, and I always marvel at the cool features in OSX, this is the first time I have a Windows-esque experience with the OSX UI
I've also posted the above on the Apple Stackexchange, but nobody knows how to fix this.

I too prefer to use the keyboard over mouse/trackpad. Being a switcher from Windows the default keyboard shortcut to "Move focus to the menu bar" of ^F2 (ctrl+F2) was just too awkward a combination for me, and so I redefined the shortcut to be ⌘-space (cmd+space) which is much closer to what I'd been used to in Windows (Alt+space).
This has worked most of the time, from OSX 10.3 in 2004 right up to this weekend in 2011, using 10.6 whereas it now fails most of the time.
What has happened to cause this turnaround? In trying to discover what I'd done "wrong", I noticed that for the first time this weekend I'd run Voice Over (the OS X app). And probably by no coincidence, now, I can only successfully execute my keyboard shortcut to "Move focus to the menu bar" during the introductory announcement of Voice Over: "Welcome to Voice Over. Voice Over speaks descriptions of items on the screen and can be used to control the computer using only your keyboard. If you already know how to use Voice Over press the V key now. If you want to learn how to use Voice Over press the space key now". Hence, I have about twenty seconds of available time to use my ⌘-space (cmd+space) shortcut.
I can achieve a working shortcut by reverting away from my ⌘-space (cmd+space) shortcut, and restoring the default ^F2 (ctrl+F2), or some other different shortcut such as ⌘-, (cmd+comma).
So, I wonder, if my experience adds anything to the [already slightly stale] discussion?

  • How do I move folders and albums in iPhoto on my MacBook Pro to my ipad?

How do I move folders and albums in iPhoto on my MacBook Pro to a new iPad Air?

To sync photos, connect your iPad to your Mac and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your Mac's iTunes (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo albums/folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page.
You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

  • How to add menu item in Virtual Folders Actions Menu

    Hi ,
I am writting a custom component which will add some action on documents and virtual folder.
I am able to add the menu item for DocInfo, but not able to add Menu Item in Virtual Folders Actions Menu.
    Please help!!
    thanks

I am able to add the menu item for DocInfo, but not able to add Menu Item in Virtual Folders Actions Menu. What exactly you are trying to modify? If web GUI, it should be following the same principles as your "DocInfo" changes (only the basis service is COLLECTION_DISPLAY). If you are trying to modify Desktop Integration Suite, I'm afraid there is no help (at least, I have not heard that DIS could be modified by custom components).

  • Move folders used by Photoshop Elements 8

I am running Photoshop Elements 8 using Windows Vista.
Last year, I installed PS8 on my new computer and restored a backup from my old computer. Everything worked fine but I noticed that my root photo folder (named Jpegs) is now 9 levels down in the file structure with many levels of folders below the Jpeg folder (see path below).
    Jpegs folder is located at:
    C:\Users\New_computer_account_name\Pictures\Adobe\Documents and Settings\Old_computer_account_name\My Documents\Old_computer_account_name\Pictures\Jpegs
It appears to me that last years installation of my backup used the full folder path from the old computer and added it to the end of the path on the new computer.
What do I need to do to move the folders up in the folder path so that they are easier to get to other than using a shortcut?
I am assuming that the photos will show up as missing if I just move folders using windows and will have to go through a long tedious process of reconnecting them (have over 10,000 photos cataloged).
Would it be easier to do a full backup, delete all the folder below perhaps the "Adobe" folder then try a restore to get them only a few levels down?
What is the easiest and safest way to move my photo folders up a few levels and at what level in the folder structure should they be?
I have search your forum and the Adobe help fiels but cannot find an answer to my particular question.
    Thanks in advance
    Farmer76

    Hi Farmer
You must move folders within PSE8.
Open the Organizer and click on the Display button (near the top right) and change to Folder Location.
Expand the tree in the left hand panel to show the full folder structure.
Highlight a folder and drag it to Pictures (normally the watch folder) or a folder of your choice.
The destination folder will highlight as you hover over it and you can then release the mouse.
When complete click the Display button and change back to thumbnail view if that is your preferred default.

    Hello:
I would like to free up space on my MacBook Pro's single hard drive by moving files/folders
    to an external hard drive.
Does any software exist to assist in this process (I don't want to find applications that no
longer work because the Mac can't find a file)?
Can I move folders like Applications, Downloads, and Users to an external hard drive
and then use the same external hard drive on my Mac Mini?

    any such document exist?

    speb,
the best folders in which to find suitable files for moving to an external drive are Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Movies, Music, and Pictures. Only move their contents; do not move the folders themselves. For ease of organization, create new folders named Desktop, Documents, &c. on the external drive, and move the  contents of each internal drive’s folder to its external drive counterpart.
If you select each of these internal folders in turn and press ⌘i to Get Info on it, the Finder will show you how much space each folder’s content currently uses under ▼ General: Size.
