- Did you lock the personal number records before calling (try BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEUE)
- Did you analyze the dump, what was the error message, etc. (too many errors are possible from overlap of intervals with another record to wrong values in call...)
- look at [Note 1381529 - Inconsistency while updating IT0584 without standard Tcodes|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1381529]
- usually in those case the programmer check setting dialog mode to '2'

Is there any way to get touch screen working for unit that got wet?

i recently had my ipod touch fall in water for a few seconds, and since then my touch screen will light up dimly, but is unresponsive. the unit works for sync on my computer, as well as playing on my bose sound dock. only the touch screen seems affected

If the liquid damage has occurred recently you should try to dry it completely before attempting to use it. Have you tried putting the iPod Touch into a bag/bowl of uncooked white rice? That would help to pull all the remaining liquid out of the iPod.
If, after that the iPod's screen is still not responsive then it's something you may need to have repaired or replaced.

Creating subtype for Infotype.

Hi ,
I have created a customInfotype following the steps below:
1) Go to Transaction PM01.
2) Enter the custom Infotype number which you want to create (Should be a 4 digit number, start with 9).
3) Select the 'Employee Infotype' radio button.
4) Select the 'PS Structure Infotype'.
5) Click on Create... A separate table maintenance window appears...
6) Create a PS structure with all the fields you want on the Infotype
7) Save and Activate the PS structure
8) Go back to the initial screen of PM01.
9) Click on 'All' push button. It takes a few moments.
10) Click on 'Technical Characteristics'. Infotype list screen appears
11) Click on 'Change'(pencil) button
12) Select your Infotype and click on 'Detail' (magnifying glass) button
13) Give 'T591A' as subtype table
14) Give 'T591S' as subtype txt tab
15) Give your subtype field as subtype field
16) Save and come back to PM01 initial screen
17) Click on 'Infotype Characteristics' ... Infotype list screen appears
18) Click on 'Change' (pencil) button
19) Click on 'New Entries'
20) Enter your Infotype number and short text
21) Here we have to set different Infotype Characteristics as per the requirement. (Better open another session with some standard Infotype's infotype characteristics screen and use as the reference to fill yours)
22) Save your entries.
23) Now the Infotype is created and ready to use.
24) If you want to change the layout of the Infotype as per your requirement...
25) In the PM01 initial screen...Select 'Screen' radio button and give 2000 as the screen name, then click on edit.
26) In the next screen.. Select 'Layout Editor' and click 'Change'.
27) Screen default layout appears...here you can design/modify the screen..change the attributes of the fields..etc.
28) Save and activate. (Don't forget to 'Activate at every level)
In thread Infotype the following method is given to create subtype for Infotype.
<b>Subtype Creation :</b>
Transaction PM01 Goto Subtype Characteristics. Click on Append and then subtype. Enter the name and description of subtype on screen.
Then goto technical Characteristics and maintain the details of subtype there. I.e name of subtype i.e. component name defined in PSnnnn. Subtype table is T591A.
Subty.text tab is T591S and time const tab is T591A.
But I am having no option to create subtype from PM01.
Please guide on this.

Hi,
What you are trying to do is to modify a Standard ( delivered by SAP ) object. This would obviously not be allowed all that easily. You will have to contact SAP and obtain what is known as an access key. You would then be able to modify the object. This stipulation makes it explicit that SAP is not responsible for any problems that you may encounter by changing the standard functionality.
There is, however, an exception to this. We have something called user-exits in sAP. These are the places in the code where SAP has given the customer an option to include some custom functionality within the standard functionality. That is because SAP thinks that these are the points where customer-specific functionality is most likely.
Hope you can now see the point. If you want to modify PM01, you have to either search if an appropriate user-exit is available, or you have to contact SAP to obtain the access key.

HT3775 bought Bushnell trail cam: worked,got 2nd cam: worked. Got 3rd cam which needed DIV X,so downloaded, now can't view 1st 2 cams. msg " required codec is not available" ***? worked for 2 years till downloaded DIV X now can't view old cams. Suggestion

I bought a Bushnell trail cam. Worked well, each video presented on the screen with the opening frame of the 10 second video. I could tell at a glance what the video was.( I have to guess it used quicktime ). I bought a second cam, same results as first. I bought a 3rd cam ,( all bushnell ), which required me to download " DIV X ", which I did. Now, I can no longer view the first frame of the 10 sec video, it just has an icon that says "AVI XXX" ( XXXbeing the number of the video ). I now have to click the icon, go to "Action" drop down "open with" and select DIV X , for each "anonymous" video, ( as I cant see what they are any more , just a number). Furthermore, I can no longer view my old videos. A message shows up saying " a required codec is not available" ***????
The 2 original cams worked for 2 years with no problem, but since downloading DIV X I cant play the older ones. I should point out that even if I select a (now) anonymous video, go to " Action", drop down "open with" and manually select quicktime, the message still shows up about the codec.
Suggestions??

What video card/graphics card does your computer use? NVIDIA GeForce? Person responsible based Authorization in Projects is not working for me

Hi,
Does 'Person responsible' based authorization for WBSE works for the WBS element only, or for the hierarchically sub-ordinate non-WBS objects (meaning Networks, Activities, Materials etc) as well?
Details:
(Authorization objects: C_PROJ_VNR and C_PRPS_VNR)
-- User1 is assigned with role TESTROLE1. This role has the Project manager based WBS & project authorization objects, with person number 101.
-- User2 is assigned with role TESTROLE2. This role has the Project manager based WBS & project authorization objects, with person number 102.
Following sample project is created by a super-user:
PROJ123 (Details: person responsible - 101)
WBS-1 (Details: person responsible - 101)
    WBS-1/1 (Details: person responsible - 101)
      NETWORK1
      ACTIVITY11
      MATERIAL111
      MATERIAL112
    WBS-1/2 (Details: person responsible - 102)
      NETWORK2
      ACTIVITY21
      MATERIAL211
      MATERIAL212
Now the requirement of super-user is that WBS-1/1 and its subordinate elements (Activities, Materials etc) should be editable only by User1. And similarly, WBS-1/2 and its subordinate elements should be editable by User2 only.
My issue:
Although WBS-1/1 is not accessible to User2, BUT User2 can edit the subordinate elements (NETWORK1, ACTIVITY11, MATERIAL111, MATERIAL112) of WBS-1/1. I do not want User2 to have edit access to subordinate elements of WBS-1/1.
Above issue is with User1 for WBS-1/2 as well.
Hope I am clear in explaining my issue. Can anyone please help me understand the standard authorization concept of Person responsible based roles. I suspect that I am going wrong somewhere but I am not able to identify the problem.
I want to allow access of a part of project to one user, and another part to some other user. And I do not want to go for an ABAP option if I can do above using basis authorizations.
(Above mentioned problem is not just with part of projects, but with a complete project as well.)

Are you aware of any authorization objects which can restrict access to Networks, Activities, Material components and Milestones, using 'Person responsible' or any other suitable field? I hope you got what I am looking for.
Restricting WBSE based on 'Person responsible' without restricting sub-ordinate elements is not much useful according to me. It helps only with simple project structures (having only WBSE) and nothing much. Right?

Yes, I have checked for BAPI's, but there is no BAPI which can be used as this infotype is a Custom Infotype.

I tried unplugging the cord that connects the HD to the iMac and plugging it back in, but I still get "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer" below which are buttons for Initialize, Ignore and Eject. I was using a cord that went from larger square plug to larger square plug. So then I tried one that went from smaller square plug to what I think is USB (thin rectangular plug) of the sort that connects the keyboard and mouse. Thanks, Michael! I do hear it at times spooling up and running. Just after I bumped the thread I looked for troubleshooting for this drive online and found the manual which suggested using Disk Utility which I've seen before accidentally (if I hit Command Shift U instead of Shift U to type "Unit" on a new folder for a student's homework ) but had never really noticed. Disk Utility does see it and also a sub-something (directory?) which might be the Time Machine archives on the disk, called disk1s2), sort of the way that my iMac's hard drive shows up as 640.14 GB Nitachi HDT7... and has a sub-something titled DB iMac, which is what I named my iMac's hard drive.
Anyway the owner's manual just shows the image under the formatting section, not the troubleshooting section, but as soon as I saw it in the manual I remembered seeing it accidentally a few times, went to it, and am now verifying the disk. Right now it's telling me that it will take 2 hours to complete the verification, so I guess I have a bigt of a wait. :-)
Does that fact that Disk Utilities can see it mean it's not failed, or just that it hasn't completely failed?
I can see the virtue in having multiple redundant backups, or at least two backups. What do you suggest? Two external hard drives? I had this one linked by ethernet, and but I also have a cord that could link it by USB (like a printer), so if this one is reparable I could get a second one and link it by USB. If this one is not reparable I could get two and do the same thing. I do have an Airport so I suppose it's possible to get some sort of Wi-Fi hard drive (my new printer/scanner uses only the network and not a cable, although it has a cable that I used for the initial installation), but I'd suspect a Wi-Fi hard drive might have a higher price.
What hard drives, if any, do you recommend? I seem to recall that when I was looking at external hard drives 4 years ago, Apple's were substantially more expensive, which is why I got the OWC Mercury Elite All Pro.

Adobe AIR for Android as3 codes not working for this one project

I'm trying to use Accelerometer in my flash game, which works for every other project I'm working on, but for some reason on this one project if I try using it I get errors, using the same code i've used before, such as this.
1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: Accelerometer.
1180: Call to a possibly undefined method Accelerometer.
This is a fairly old file, not that old, so are there files I need to add to it to get it to work, or settings I need to change? This is very frustrating, I don't know what the problem possibly could be. Can anybody help me?

The error message is indicating it cannot find the class. Make sure you are importing it:
import flash.sensors.Accelerometer;
