Is Reports9i/6i is not Developer friendely ? (w.r.t report2.5)

Dear friends.
in report2.5 there is no problem when you wants to resize frames but in report9i/6i flex& confine mode not works properly.
some times i try to resize the frame and result is
frame overlaps to other frames.
pls suggest what i do?

I agree that 6i is probably the worst of the bunch in regards to being developer friendly. I have been repeatedly frustrated and have had to figure out the 'quirks' of the software instead of focusing on actual problem solving.

then columns are rename with prifix 1,
(ie. cust_code with cust_code1)
second;
At layout section when I wants resize the Frame then

Hi Siddharth
Regarding column name renamed with prifix 1, the issues is solved in later patches of Reports 6i. I suggest you move to Reports 6i latest patch and try upgrading your reports. In Reports 9i, you do not get the issues, because that was altesy fixed in 6i patches.

I have had my Blackberry Curve since last spring and still do not find it user friendly. The online guide states how to make categories for the memo pad but stops there and does not explain how to save new memos within those categories. I go back and forth and cannot figure out how to do it. After pressing many buttons I finally manage to get it where it belongs but have no idea how and when I try adding another go through the same thing. I had a Palm previously; it was so easy, just make the cateogry, click on it and then click add new. Now I click on the category, then new memo and after that the entry goes into outer space somewhere because I cannot find it. Just clicking save does not work. Sometimes I can find the entire list of items in every category but cannot figure out how I did it because there is no actual option to do that. I often wish I had gone with a different smartphone but am locked in now for another 2+ years with basically a phone but nothing else. I am still using the smartphone part of my Palm for data, memos, etc., because it is so much easier to use; unfortunately I cannot get another battery for it so its use wll be gone when the battery does. .I wanted a smartphone so I just had to carry one device; now I am back to carrying two, a Palm PDA and a Blackberry phone. .

Actually I did get these replies in my e-mail, thanks. However, I did finally toss the Blackberry and got an iPhone. It is so much easier to use, right out of the box I was able to make calls whereas it took me some considerable time to figure out how to even do that with the BB. And the Memo section on it great, very easy to use, not to mention the other basic apps like calendar and contacts. Very user friendly. .

Very strange! All of my calendar events have reappeared. This has happened one week after downloading iOS 7
The calendar however, is not easy to use.
The typing function on the phone has become even slower. Have to wait for each letter to show on screen.

Read keywords from file but not develop settings?

Is there any way to read IPTC Core metadata, but not develop settings, from a file? I'm still figuring out my Lightroom workflow and made some errors that I'd like to recover from. Here's the situation:
In Lightroom 2.x I selected images, gave them star ratings, and made initial Develop module adjustments. I did NOT write the metadata back to the files (my mistake). Later, my keywording assistant opened the files in another program (Breeze Browser) and added extensive keywords using a controlled vocabulary that works very well and very fast in Breeze. Now I have extensive caption and keyword data in the XMP sidecars, but develop settings in Lightroom's database. I need to merge them.
The slow and tedious workaround in Lightroom is to select the photo, copy the develop settings, read the metadata from the file, then paste the develop settings back in. It works, but is repetative and slow. There's not even a keyboard shortcut for reading metadata. The other tedious workaround is to export the keywords to a text file (using Breeze) and copy & paste them into Lightroom's keywords field. But that's even slower.
Is there a way to write only the develop settings to the files?
Any other suggestions on how to proceed? I have several hundred images that need to be fixed.
In the future, I know I need to write the metadata to the files after making any adjustments in Lightroom so the data travels with the files themselves and isn't just in Lightroom's database.

So, assuming that i would have
String content = "458,304,0,345,432";i could split this and put this in an array string using a code like
String[] arry = null;
array = content.split("\\.");I haven't tested the code yet, cause i'll go to bed soon, but will this split all at once and put it in the array or do i have to create a loop or something ?
And is it possible to put number one using split in the array[x][v] on the x location and the others at the [v] location ? (the first number of each five has to be added to [x] and the other 4 to [v] )

This is old. ITunes doesnot have a support you can call to get things done. There needs to be an easier way to contact them? The screens are not user friendly.

Eloqua Email template are not Android friendly?

The Mobile email templates in Eloqua are not Android friendly.

It seems that after updating to 7.0.3, this issue is back. Both the template for the signature in the localization content (English) and the standard location for changing this are what we wish them to be, but emails going out still read the default Novell Service Desk, etc...
Any ideas on how to correct this?

The newer version of iTunes is not user-friendly. I liked it the way it was 5 years ago.

I completely agree!! I'm starting to really hate iTunes. I bought a macbook and an iPhone so everything would sync perfectly with no problems. I have to log into iTunes constantly for downloads and this and that...it's so annoying!! Apple is more concerned about tracking your personal information than they are about users enjoying their music. It's just a big data collection scam. iTunes (AND APPLE) you are on very thin ice with me.

Why not develop a "mouseless" and "barless" Lion

With watching the Mac Lion Video, I just found mouse is not very imoportant as old days; And, like watching the video, all the sidebars top/bottom the window can be hiden - why not develop a mouseless Lion and a new gesture to show/hide bars?

I get where you're coming from considering this is a $200+ purchase on top of the monthly plans, but they are free. Most phones don't come with headphones let alone a headset. If you're really that serious about audio, you may want to look into some Klipsch or Sennheiser cans. If you want to keep it in the Apple family, they do make a $79 in-ear headset which is better than the free ones. BUT, the standard headset is free. You don't have to use it.
