IS Retail - Competitive prices

Hello experts,
I'm in a new instalation of SAP Retail (ERP 2005).
I need to introduce prices from competition in the system and compare them with my own sales prices.
The condition type for my own prices i'm using is PR00 and i believe that for competition prices is condition type VKPM. Can you confirm me this? One of the input keys for condition type VKPM is costumer. I need to create my competitor as a costumer in the costumer master?
And is there any transaction (list) where i can compare the competitive price with my own price for a particular or a range of articles?
Regards and thank you very much,
Diogo

Hi Diogo
After you have done all the settings like
a. Customer (competitor) creation
b. Create a class CL02 and assign object to the classes CL20N
c. Assign it with site master where you are facing competition and pricing strategy.
d. Competitor price entry at WMB1
e. Run the VKP5.
When you run VKP5 , it will you show you the suggested sales price before final sales price column. To see  the details how it has taken this price , select GOTO in the main menu  click on Competitor price, it will take you to the screen where it will show the all the  competitor price and pricing strategy.
You don't need to go anywhere other than VKP5 to compare the price.
Reward if it is useful.
Best Regards

  • Retail Value/Price, Original and Current Price

    Hi
In IS retail i understand that we can maintain the current price and original price of article at particular store. Can some one let me know where can we maintain the same? Also please let me know the setting where we can say that the reference is Sending site current price or Receiving site original price when doing transfer from one site to another.
For an article i understand we can maintain the Cost price(Moving average price) and also retail Price , can some one let me know where can we maintain this prices of cost price and retail price.
    regards
    mohammed

    Hi Mohammed
In VKP5 transaction , you change your current price and can save. A pricing document will be created and you can see the price in the Transaction VKP2/VKP3 at any point of time.
Also in VKP5 , you can select " Sales price determining sequence as "6" so that you can see ur Current sales price..in the Final Price Field.
As vijai told ..the cost price you can very well see on the Logistics DC/Store view on Accounting Switch.

  • No retail price available for material MMMM in master conditions

    Hi All ,
When running transaction VKU6 to pickup and display price changes for retail price . I am getting this message.
"No retail price available for material <MMMM> in master conditions"
I have already maintained the condition record for retail prices , am not sure what does these Master Conditions refer to.
    Kindly give some advice...
    thanks!!

    Hi
VKU6 is for retail Re-valuation, if you want re-valuation to be done based on retail sales price than MAP then you use this transaction and see the changes here for the stores you selected  then you go to VKU7 for  automatic revaluation. If you are getting such error means you must be using two step price calculation and ran re-valuation for DC, try using re-valuation for store and you don't get such errors.
Pre-requisite is you should have old and new retail sales price for stores, these prices to be maintained against master condition type like VKP0 and same to be assigned in the list field.
If you are objective is  to see only change in sales price  then you can use t code VKP2 / VKP3

  • Stolen phone- buying a new one (price?)

I just bought my upgraded phone for $200 in January but it was stolen last night. If I purchase a new 16g phone with my contract how much is it going to cost me?

Copied from my first post in your other thread asking if you will get a replacement iPhone for free.
If you want another iPhone, you must purchase another. If you purchased the iPhone at AT&T's subsidized or discounted price, you will pay full price this time, *which will cost you $400 more than you paid originally.*
The full retail sales price for the 16GB iPhone 4 is $400 more than AT&T's subsidized or discounted price. AT&T's subsidized or discounted price for the 16GB iPhone 4 is $199 plus applicable sales tax. The full retail sales price for the 16GB iPhone 4 is $599 plus applicable sales tax.

Maintained PB00 pricelist condition record(Sales org/dc/pricelist condition table)
Basic data retail(IMG) Distribution chain level pricelist price is activated
Maintained Pricing type determination for price list
Maintained control data pricing table data backup maintained the relevant condition table which is maintained for the PB00.
*Error is:* "No basic purchase price relevant to pricing found with schema RMISR0"
Please let me know where i am going wrong for the pricelist pricing to solve the above
    Regards,
    Kumaravel

    Hi ,
In IS-Retail Sales Price calculation is happening from your Purchase Price. There is a link between Purchase Pricing Procedure and Sales Pricing Procedure.
For your Purchase Pricing Procedure refer RMISRO (TCode M/08)and for every purchase condition type which will affect your Sales Price tick Relevant to Pricing under Tab Sales Pricing.
For Sales Pricing Procedure refer the following link:

  • One material two prices

    Hi Experts
Can we mention two prices for One Material for same Sales organization ,distribution channel , site division ?
(e.g. in plant there is two material one material they want to sale at one price say $ 1 and another material they want to sale at $1.5 )
    Is it possible ?
    how ?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
200 % it is possible with careful customization
In the condition table of the pricing procedure you need to add either Price list field or price group field
    Preferably price list field
Material A So for a paricular Sales organization say 1000 ,distribution channel 10 , site 1000, division 00 + price list  say 01  whole sale then price in VK11 is  Rs 100
Same material A for a paricular Sales organization say 1000 ,distribution channel 10 , site 1000, division 00 + price list say 02 Retail then price in VK11 is  Rs 200
Same material A for a paricular Sales organization say 1000 ,distribution channel 10 , site 1000, division 00 + price list say 03 Internet sales then price in VK11 is  Rs 300
    Like that three condition records
Now in sales order the price list field you will find it in item details SALES A or SALES B (i dont have SAP access right now to check exactly)
You need to add this field in the incompletion log
Then in sales order the user will fill either one price list
If price list is 01 the price of Material A will be Rs 100 in Sales organization say 1000 ,distribution channel 10 , site 1000, division 00
If price list is 02 the price of Material A will be Rs 200 in Sales organization say 1000 ,distribution channel 10 , site 1000, division 00
    Like that
So the same material will have different prices according to the keys we are choosing
Note Price list any no of keys you can define in IMG-SD-BASIC FUNCTIONS---PRICING

  • Will There Be a Competitive Upgrade For Users of Other DAWs Like Cubase 4?

I plan to purchase Logic Studio 8 to give it a try. I currently own Cubase 4 and many other audio software packages. Will there be a competitive upgrade price offer for us?
    Thanks,
    Dave

Apple never answers anything in these forums, you're asking the wrong crowd. Sorry. Though as someone who bought and returned Cubase 4 as a competitive upgrade, I paid 499 at the time, the price of a brand new version of Logic Studio. So not sure how much more of a competitive price you need

  • Retail Promotion condition type can be different from VKA0

    Dear expert,
You may know that when we create promotion through WAK1 and active price through WAK5, SAP will create condition and store to condition type VKA0.
My question is "Is this condition type VKA0 hard code by SAP, can we have different condition type other than VKA0"?
Here client wants to have different condition type, for example ZKA1, ZKA2 to store different condition for different promotion type / purpose.
    Any soluiton or suggestion?
    Best Regards,
    Honghai

    Hi
Please check you customize settings in the IMG under retail sales price calculation.
Spro>logistics general>retail pricing>sales price calculation>control data for pricing table and data backup>control per sales price calc schema and list field
In your schema under list field ENDPR set the condition type for promotion and normal when saving list fields in master conditions.
Don't forget to then maintain the assignment of condition tables for your schema as well.
    I hope this works.
    Regards

  • VKP5 price to sales price

    Hi all
Can we maintain the same retail sales price(RSP - Price created in the VKP5 calculation)  in the sales order for the sales price or do we need to maintain the condition records for the sales order price.
Which means the price of VKP0 Condition record should be updated automatically??
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
No need to maintain condition record for sales order...price which define in vkp5 is determined in sales order automatically
In Retail Price, Sale Price is determined automatically.

  • Upgrade price question

I don't qualify for the 199/299 price because I upgraded on 12/27/09. So how much would I have to pay to upgrade early anyways?
" You can take advantage of our no commitment pricing at a participating retail sales location. You may qualify for a full discount on a standard iPhone upgrade on 05/28/2011 You can take advantage of our full retail pricing for an iPhone at participating retail sales locations. Additional discounts may be available on 05/28/2011. More Details: Equipment discounts are available from time to time based on a number of factors: service tenure, spending levels, payment history, usage practices, and other factors."
I don't have to pay the no commitment price do I? -_-
What If I upgrade early anyways an extend the 2 yr contract. How much will I pay?

How much did you pay for your existing iPhone?
The fully subsidized or discounted price I'm sure. You do realize the price you paid was $400 less than the full retail sales price for the iPhone?
Apple recieves the same amount of money per new iPhone sale regardless, so it is AT&T paying Apple the difference on your behalf and you haven't paid off your debt for the amount AT&T paid Apple for your existing iPhone.
How much more over the fully subsidized or discounted price would you be willing to pay?
You may qualify for AT&T's early upgrade price, which is $200 more than the fully subsidized or discounted price.
If so and that price is not acceptable, stick with what you've got, or look into selling your existing iPhone to someone else and use the proceeds to pay whatever you have to pay for the iPhone 4 if you want one.

  • Will the VerizonWireless stores match phone prices at Best Buy (with 2 year agreement)?

Currently BB has the cheaper phone with 2 year VerizonWireless agreement.

No, Verizon does not typically price match 3rd party retailer vendor prices.

  • UK prices too high!

I have used a money converter and i have found out that iPhone's in the UK would cost £64 if the US price was translated. Why are apple charging us so much for this but for the ipad they are charing roughly the same? Thanks for reading.

VAT is not a main reason for a $300-$400 difference in price. The advertised price in the U.S. is AT&T's subsidized or discounted price - $199/$299 plus applicable sales tax. AT&T's no-contract or no commitment price is $400 more - $$599/$699 plus applicable sales tax, but the iPhone is not officially unlocked.
The main reason is subsidized or discounted by a carrier with signing a long term contract for the discount provided by the carrier - which is available with at least one carrier in the UK if not all vs being sold at the full retail sales price without a contract and/or as officially unlocked which is the most expensive since no discount is provided by the carrier and there is no contract.
Yes it does cost more to do business in Europe - that is what you get with socialism which the idiots running our government at the present time who will be run out this fall so we can get back to the center are trying to inflict upon us here even thought the majority are not interested in it.

  • EBook (EPUB) Publication FAQ

How much does it cost to publish an eBook?
If you are a do-it-yourself publisher, there is no cost to use our free tools to convert and/or publish your EPUB and PDF format eBooks. We will even provide you with a copy of our free eBook Creator Guide to assist you through the process.
If, however, you would like a little assistance, we offer several affordable eBook publishing packages.
How do I create an eBook in EPUB format?
Although this is the most frequently asked question about eBooks, it is also the most difficult one to answer concisely. Have a look at the following video tutorials to get an idea of what you will need to get started.
Video Tutorial: How to Publish an eBook on Lulu.com
Video Tutorial: How to Publish an eBook with the Best Table of Contents
Then download the eBook Creator Guide to use as a handy reference when preparing your manuscript for conversion to an eBook in EPUB format.

If you run into difficulties, don’t hesitate to search our community forums or post a question. One of our volunteer forum experts will be happy to assist you.
What types of files can I upload to convert to an eBook?
Before we can convert your manuscript to an eBook in EPUB file format, it must be saved as a properly formatted Microsoft Word (DOC or DOCX), Rich Text Format (RTF), or Open Office (ODT) file.
For more information about file types compatible for use in our EPUB converter, see Supported File Types.
Can I use the same file I uploaded for my print book to create my eBook?
You can certainly create a copy of your print book manuscript file to use as a starting point; however, eBooks are formatted very differently than their print book cousins.
Your original manuscript was probably created to closely resemble the format of a print book, which requires, margins, a table of contents, headers, footers, page numbers, page breaks, etc. eBooks, on the other hand, are composed of reflowable text, do not have pages as we think of them, and include an electronic table of contents allowing readers to navigate to sections or chapters.
For more information about formatting your manuscript, see Prepare Your Manuscript for eBook Conversion.
What is an eBook Marketing Image?
Think of the eBook Marketing Image as the eBook’s “cover.” It is the image shoppers see when browsing online for eBooks and on their eReader’s “bookshelf” when they purchase and download your work.
When creating and editing your Marketing Image, you should design the image to capture a shopper’s attention. The art and text should be clear, crisp, and easily read when viewed as a thumbnail.
The Marketing Image consists only of the front cover art, which should include the book title and author name. Unlike print books, there is no back cover or dust jacket flaps on an eBook cover that can be used to provide author information or a synopsis of your work. Therefore the Marketing Image could be the first, and last, impression a shopper has of your work.
The Marketing Image must be created to the following specifications:
    Dimensions: at least 612 x 792 pixels (8.5” x 11” or 21.59 cm x 27.94 cm)
Resolution: 72dpi or higher to provide a clear image when viewed in multiple sizes
Do I need an ISBN for my eBook?
You do not need an International Standard Book Number (ISBN) if you only want to sell your eBook in the Lulu Marketplace.
You will need an ISBN if you want to sell your eBook on sites other than the Lulu Marketplace, such as the Kindle Store, the Apple iBookstore, the Kobo Store, and the Barnes & Noble NOOK® Bookstore.
Please Note: All eBooks published with an ISBN and set to a status of Private or General Access qualify for retail distribution. For more information about this process, see eBook Distribution FAQ.
Can I use the same ISBN for my eBook as I used for my print book?
No. The ISBN identifies the title, author, publisher, and format of a book. Therefore, a different ISBN is required for each format (hardcover, paperback, eBook, etc.).
How much should I charge for my eBook?
Only you know the worth of your work.
You can get an idea of a competitive price range by studying your intended market. How much are authors in your genre or area of expertise charging for their work? Do you have the same name recognition in your field? Are you just getting started as a writer and want to get your work into as many hands as possible? Is a print version of your book also available for purchase and if so, do you want to offer a discount on the eBook version?
Rather than answering your question with even more questions, here are few points to consider when pricing your eBook:
    Lulu Marketplace
You can offer your eBook as a free download or sell it for any price greater than or equal to $0.99.
Important Note: The Lulu creator revenue split is calculated on income above $0.99. For example, if you charge $2.99 for your eBook, your income for each eBook sold in the Lulu Marketplace will be $1.80, which is 90% of $2.00. For the mathematically inclined: Lulu Marketplace eBook Creator Revenue = .90(price – $0.99)
iBookstore or Barnes & Noble NOOK® Bookstore:
Retail channels also have rules governing acceptable minimum and maximum list prices. Each channel may adjust your price to comply with their pricing policies. Use this eBook Retailer Price & Revenue Calculator to see what your eBook will sell for on these retailers' sites and estimate the revenue you will earn from each sale.
    Amazon Kindle and Kobo Bookstores
Some retailers operate as resellers. This means they pay the wholesale price to a distributor when your eBook sells. Since these retailers are buying your book from a middleman at a set price, they can resell your eBook at any price they like, including a discounted price. Under the reseller model you will always make the same revenue as displayed in the retail pricing step for each book sold by that retailer, regardless of the sale price.
Once your eBook is published, you can view and edit your eBook's retail pricing and distribution options from the My Projects > Manage button.
IMPORTANT NOTES: When you select Kindle and/or Kobo distribution, Barnes & Noble converts to the reseller revenue model. At this time Amazon Kindle and Kobo distribution are not available to authors residing in Australia.
Why can’t I sell my PDF eBook on sites other than Lulu.com?
While PDFs are simple to create and great for reading on a large monitor or laptop screen, they are usually created as fixed text documents (i.e. the reader cannot choose the font or font size). As such, PDFs are not easily read on smaller screens such as those found on eReader devices.
Due to this limitation, our retail partners prefer eBooks in EPUB file format. These types of eBooks allow text to be optimized for all displays and reading on both large screens and small devices such as smartphones and eReaders.

Check this thread on how to create epub from ID.
Also, above right is a field that says "search forums". Type in 'epub' and you'll see a ton of threads.
