Question

Hello every one...Please clarify the following.
1) how are the inbound and outbound store integrate in IS retail.?
2) How do we transact data in and out of SAP to POS, what output types do we use here?
3) If an organization has both Wholesale and Retail stores, then how do they communicate between themselves. plz give example if possible...

Hi
u can communicate with POS system through XI middleware
following scenario u can configure
u2022     POS outbound-- data send from SAP to POS
o     Merchandise category information
o     Article master data
o     Control data
o     Customer data
o     Exchange rates
o     Follow-on items
o     Set articles
o     Bonus buys & coupons
o     Promotion discounts
o     Assortment lists
u2022     POS inbound-- data send from POS to SAP
o     Sales
o     Payment lists
o     Cashier statistics
o     Store physical inventories
o     Store orders/returns
o     Store replenishments
o     Store goods movements
o     Bonus buys & coupons
for whole sales you can configure SD cycle like R-3  for retail you use POS interface setting
