Is RH 9 HTML only available as 32 bit version?

All,
I currently use RH 8 HTML. Our department is considering upgrading to v9—along with the migration to Windows 7 (64 bit version). RH 9 looks great, but I’d like to confirm that that there is only the 32 bit version (vs. a separate 64 version) of the application available.
We use the Link to Word feature for our help pages, so a concern is that if we eventually migrate to MS Word 2010 (64 bit version) that RH 9 will be incompatible.
Thanks!

Hi there
In addition to what my esteemed colleague said, I've seen many other reports across the web that state folks are much better off avoiding the 64 bit versions of Office. There simply isn't anything that is offered that makes 64 bit needed or even worthwhile.
Cheers... Rick

  • Why has the Tecra M11-11M only got the 32-bit version of Windows 7?

Why has the Tecra M11-11M only got the 32-bit version of windows 7 and not the 64-bit?
Surely the i7 and 4gb can cope with the demands and the 64-bit version would allow more efficient use of the computing power.
    Many thanks,

Good question but Im afraid only Toshiba marketing division has right answer to your question.
I just presume they create own decision based on market research.
You can try to install own 64bit version if the drivers, tools and utilities are available.

  • Update to 14.2 only worked for 32 bit version of Photoshop

    Hi,
I have just run the updates for 14.2 through Adobe CC.  CC now says all of my apps are up to date, but when I run Photoshop (64 bit) it is still only version 14.  The 32 bit version has updated to 14.2.
I have tried quitting the cc app, re-booting, signing out / in etc and I still have the same issue.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Please confirm if you can see any updates when launching Help》Updates through PS 64 bit.
Also provide us with the following files:
    You can find them at:
    Installer logs
    Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers
    AAM logs
    C:\Users
    AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater
You can zip all the files together and send us through mail ([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>). This would help us in finding the root cause.
Appreciate your help. Apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Photoshop CS4 only installed in 32-bit version??

I bought Adobe Photoshop CS4 (Extended) 2 years ago. It was the disc-based copy for Windows. I recently got a new computer (now with 8GB ram and a 64-bit OS) So I instaleld PS CS4 the other day, and I now just realized that there is no 64-bit exe of the program. It only installed a 32-bit executable. It never asked me during install either if I wanted to choose the 32-bit or 64-bit version.
Does PS CS4 not have a 64-bit version? Or did I not get it? What's going on here?

There was a 64-bit version of CS4 for Windows but not for the Mac.  You might browser the DVD and see if you can find a 64-bit installer.  I don't have my DVD handy to tell you where to look.

  • Is there a way to filter apps that are only available for your current version of ios

I have the first generation iphone. It still works pefectly and I would like to give it to my 1yo son, so that he can play around with it. It has latest supported ios 3.1.3. I went to the apple store to find some kid friendly apps for the device, only to find out that almost ever app requires a version of ios higher than 3.1.3. I understand that this is the limitation of old hardware. I just wish that there was a way for me to only see apps that would still work on my device. Currently, I have to click on the app, then start the download, only to get a message that says that I need ios > 3.1.3. I can also imagine that there are a lot of people out there who don't know the ios limits per device. Wouldn't it be better if the message read, "this app requires ios 4.3 which is supported on iphone 3 or higher" or even simpler "this app is not supported on your device. It is supported on iphone 3 or better". But the ios filter would go a really long way.
    Thanks
    Richard

  • I want to buy a song that is only available on the french version of iTunes. How do i change iTunes so I can buy the song?

I really want to buy Elle Me Dit by Mika, but iTunes only comes up with crappy covers of the song. According to WIkipedia, "The single was released on the French iTunes Store on 11 July 2011". If this is true, how do I change my iTunes to the french version so I can buy the song?

    You will need the following:
A credit card billed in France (in Euro's)
An address in France to receive the billing for the card.
A computer in France to download the song.
This may be one of those occasions when buying the CD is easier.

  • DataSource only available in ECC 6.0 - How to copy?

    Experts,
We like to use Business Content datasources (0PM_ORDER_OPERATION and 0PM_COMPUNIT_ATTR) that are only available as from SAP version ECC 6.0. The client is on R/3 version 4.7.
    - Do you know of a way of getting the datasources in SAP R/3 4.7? Have you come accross cases were SAP for instance makes the underlying function modules and extract structures available in a lower version?
There are similar datasources available in 4.7 (e.g. 0PM_OM_OPA_1). In order to use those and further extend them (cant use original one for customer specific reasons) I would like to copy them in a customized datasource. Do you know how this is best done?
    Thanks, Meindert

If they still go back and support and enhance older datasources, how will they market the new product and get the customers to upgrade to the new version?
I would think the best bet would be to enhance.
But you can try by asking SAP.

  • Flash Professional CC no longer available for 32 Bit?

    Hi to all...
I purchased a membership for the creative cloud and downloaded some of the applications of the suite (Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, Dreamweaver CC and Muse CC) but the only Flash Professional available for download is the CS6 version, not the CC. I assume that Flash Pro in CC is only available for 64 bit processors. Any chance to get a 32 bit version?
    Thanks for your comments...

Flash Pro CC requires a 64bit OS. Here's the system requirements:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/tech-specs.html
If you're 32bit you will need to use Flash CS6.

  • I have Windows 7, but have only 32-bit ?...need 64-bit. How do I install 64-bit version? Am not computer savvy?

I have Windows 7 on my computer. I keep getting messages when I want to do various things on my computer which say that I only have a 32-bit version of ???? and I need to update to a 64-bit version of ??? I am not computer savvy and do not understand 32-bit version of what they are talking about; nor, do I know how to update to the 64-bit version. Are they referring to my web browser, or what? And, how do I update to the 64-bit version. Do I have to buy different software, or what? Someone, please help me with this. It happened again today when I wanted to update my Java plug-in. Said I was using 32-bit, so would have to install both 32 and 64-bit version. I am confused.

Firefox is currently only as a 32 bit application available.<br />
A 64 bit Firefox version requires all plugins to be 64 bit as well and not many plugins have a 64 bit version.
You shouldn't have any problem with running that 32 bit Firefox version on a 64 bit Windows platform.

  • Is HDInsight only available on Azure

We are exploring Hadoop for processing of web click related data. We use Microsoft products so I wanted to find if HDInsight from Microsoft is only available on Azure or can you set this up on your local servers.
Secondly if we are able to setup Hadoop (from Apache) on our windows server can we still use the .Net SDK for Hadoop to develop our MapReduce jobs.
    Thanks

    Hi,
HDInsight is only available as a service in Azure. Microsoft offers an
emulator for HDInsight which is for Windows on premise, but that is a single node HDInsight setup. As the name suggests, the emulator is for testing/evaluation purposes as Azure services incur some cost.
HDInsight uses Hortonworks Data platform (HDP) internally to deploy the hadoop stack. If you require a multi-node on premise hadoop cluster on Windows, you can use
    HDP.
Hadoop Streaming is a facility for writing map-reduce jobs in the language of you choice. So, you can use the .NET SDK to develop and submit MR jobs to your Apache hadoop cluster via Hadoop Streaming. Hadoop API for .NET is a wrapper to Streaming that provides
a convenient experience for .NET developers. An understanding of the concepts and general functionality provided by Hadoop Streaming is necessary for successful use of this API: see http://hadoop.apache.org/common/docs/r0.20.0/streaming.html for this background
    information.

  • Apps only available in the USA

I am new to Apple and loving it but there's one thing that makes me quite upset to be frank
Why are certain free apps only available in the USA? Infant even some premium apps are only available in the USA...
Had a chat with an old friend of mine over the weekend and I was bragging about all my idevices and in the end he said something I couldn't refute and it left me quite grumpy he said "apple products are only made to satisfy American users" and I couldn't say anything beyond that.
Somebody please wipe the moisture from my ears.....
One more idea, how about all premium apps come with a trial version, even if its a day or a few hours for that matter. one is often forced to purchase an app before they know that all the marketing material was flawed or the app doesn't fulfill what the user is looking for, but the money is gone .....
