Is rollup possible if aggrigates are in inactive stage

Hi,
Is rollup possible when aggrigates are in inactive status.
Please give your valuble answers.

Hi,
Its not possible. Actually when the aggregates are active, the will be pulled from infocube and stored in to the aggregates. if they are inactive no data will be pushed from infocube even after the load.

                           it still dose'nt solve my problem, if I open folders + folders to file, I still hav'nt Back or Forward = still grey & inactive, yet funny in Veiw=toolbars & to costomise, they're there green & active, but I can do nothing to solve my problem So so, what do you think? PC or Mac?
Back and forward buttons on a window listng the files in it, will only work if you open a file within the folder.
If you simply open your folder, there nothing to go "back" to.

Synch the ipod on itunes (apps are grey (inactive) without moving the apps from "folder" to store icons apps

Hi,
I use 2 PC to synch and store apps on itunes. I store apps on itouch by making folder for each games categories. When I connect my ipod to one pc, all apps are grey (inactive) and I have to synch the itouch, so all folders will be removed.
So how can I synch the itouch without mofifying (removing) folders?

So, if you have an ipod backup, you can restore the settings after you set up your ipod again. If you haven't got the backup, your game settings etc are gone.

How to cancel the sales order - header and line status are in Entered Stage

Dears,
I have some sales order to be cancelled in which the header and line status are in *"Entered"*. I am not able to cancel these sales order.
Also note that these orders are for maintenance service.Once i book these orders the lines will change to closed status.
So it is not possible to book and cancel the lines.
Kindly me to resolve this.

Coming to your Action-->cancel...as far as i know ...the header status will change to canceled..
unless until you have some processing constraints in place...which is stopping you...

I didn't find this particular info so I thought I'd take a chance and ask the community.......what are the different stages or member status names and titles called as one progresses from the beginning Student ....to Honor Student (which I am now in this category, woo hoo.....champagne anyone?).....what are the remaining levels to achieve? I see my profile changed my status from beginning scrub to now an Honor Student.....Deuces....thanks for pointing out the remaining steps and stages of membership elite=dom and what not. Cheers, FC

Items are autopicked to Stage Subinventory

Hi
we do a pick release through a custom program and this will do pick release & creates deliveries for all the eligible lines. it is seen that few items are autopicked to stage subinventory without performing the transact move order.
the pick release is not done manually it is done through a standard program and in the pick release rule the auto allocate option is disabled.
it is really strange that the Auto allocate to Stage subinventory without transact move order is happening only for few items and it cannt be replicated. it happens randomly.
can you anyone please help me.

Hi Kumar ... you have my sympathy: a situation that happens in Production but can't be replicated on a test instance is not a nice place to be!
Did you check the inventory transactions for those 'mystery' picks as I suggested in my previous post?
I'm not sure whether the fact that your custom program is only grouping order lines which are reserved has any bearing ... I'm not sure what happens with the allocation process when you are picking by prior reservation only. Usually the allocations are Oracle's suggestions, guided by your setup, as to which stock you should use to satisfy the pick but presumably when picking by prior reservation the allocation is not necessary.
Is there any reference on wsh_picking_batches to which release rule was used by your picks? Could it be that some of your picks were done without a release rule in which case the default values (auto pick confirm = on?) on your shipping parameters would be used?

Hello All,
I have created few properties like ReqNo (takes Integer) and ReqDate (accepts Date).
I have set the above 2 properties as manadatory. Created a Group and added his goug in 'allgroups' such that I see a tab wherein I can fill in these properties.
My questions is:
<b>Is it possible that these properties are only available for files and not for folders</b>. The reason being that even if I create a new folder, I need to fill some values in the above two mentioned properties.
These properties need to be mandatory and cannot make them optional.
Please help me solve this mystery.

If you only want the property to be available for files and not folders you only enter data into the "Document Validity Patterns" field in the Property config.

UpdateRules are in inactive state

Hi Experts,
      I have created a cube A with copy of cube B.
      Cube B contains 3 Update Rules.
      I have created same update rules to A, which contains cube B. and then transported these UpdateRules from development to Quality. But found them in inactive state and when i check STMS i find no transport error(import to Q is succesful).

I think, you have not transfered the datasource for the cube A to Quality system. Please go to source sytem(RSA13) select the BW Source system, check for data mart application component, in that check whether the datasource for cube A is there or not, it will 8<techn name> of the Cube A. You must have the data source in the Quality system. If it not there, then prabably you have resend it along with the update rules.
Also, check with this funtion module. goto Tcode se38 and selec the following program and execute.
RS_COMSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL
This program is to activate the communication structure. It may work..

Indent changing is possible but changes are not reflecting after refresh

I am facing one issue with alignment in the BEX. i need to changed the the result rows. initally the indent is 2 , am changing it to 1 and saving as existing report. after refreshing the workbook. the changes are not reflecting. can anybody provide me some inputs on these. any help is appreciated.

Export to MPEG2 with 4:2:2 chroma... is it possible? Where are the setting

I don't see how you can specify colour sampling in compressor... can you export to MPEG2 format with 4:2:2 from an uncompressed 10bit 4:2:2 file???
Final Cut cannot directly output mpeg2 so i'm interested if anyone else knows of a compression program for MAC where you can be SURE it's exporting 4:2:2 or you can specify in an option?

unfortunately, compressor only has the MPEG2, DVD compliant algorithm.
what this mean for you is:
resolutions of 720x480 or 720x576 in 4:2:0 that are interlaced (MainProfile@MainLevel).
however, the newsest version of Compressor also offers MainProfile@HighLevel with limitations of 1920x1080 in 4:2:0 that are progressive which can be used for "HD DVD".
the bottom line is that you cannot use compressor to create 4:2:2 MPEG2 files.
you would need a MPEG2 encoder, NOT a DVD MPEG2 encoder (like compressor).
of course you can create other files that do have 4:2:2 since compressor, at it's root is a transcoder.
also, when you look for an MPEG2 encoder, it will be a litter steep, price wise.
why would you want to create a 4:2:2 file anyway. are you creating a mastering file? does it have to be a Program stream or can it be a transport stream file?

Is it possible to style area shapes?

I'm using area shapes so i can have numerous links on the same image, however the shapes are basically none existent to anyone unaware they aren't there. Is the any way i can style them to make them visible?

Are we talking about CSS shapes or image map areas?

On startup of Mac Mini running OS Mavericks login windows are invisible. Login is possible but there are no white boxes for username and password. Keyboard inputs also do not display.

Mac Mini with 2 Ghz Intel Core i7 running OS X 10.9.1. Recent problem with startup screen where I get a gray startup screen that is blank and does not show the login windows for username or password. Mousing over where they should be does provide a cursor change and I can click into the invisible window and login. Also, I can just type the information and hit enter and login without problems but the keystrokes do not appear either. This is not a big problem if I make sure that I type my login information correctly, but if I make a mistake it can be difficult make sure I am in the right place before I retype. Any ideas why the screen is just gray and does not show the windows? Once I type in the login info in the invisible windows and hit enter the computer starts up, loads finder, and runs without any other noticeable problems.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

If i place a message in a queue can i read the message from JMS using BPEL ( JMS Adapter ) or OSB( JMS Transport ) like batcth rather than reading the whole message in to the OSB or BPEL at the same time .
