Is Scanjet G3110 supported in Windows 10?

Anyone using Scanjet G3110 on Windows 10?
Any problems?
Can't get clear answer from HP on whether or not it is supported.
Just get scripted reply that send me to links that don't answer the question.

Welcome to the HP Community ,  I understand you are looking to find out if the Scanjet G3110 is supported on Windows 10. Although I cannot find any sort of confirmation that it is supported, the best you can do is try installing the Windows 8.1 driver, to see if that works. Click this link, click "Edit" on the right side of the page to change the OS to Windows 8.1, and download the full driver there. HP Scanjet Full Feature Software and Driver Good luck

  • Scanjet G3110 top-deck buttons don't work on Win 7 Pro 64-bit

    Scanjet G3110
    Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit
Downloaded and installed new drivers (2014-01-15 , Version14.5). Scanner works, but the top-deck buttons don't.
No errors or warnings either during installation or while trying to use the scanner, but in the Application Event Log, I see two entries from MsiInstaller, in the order they occurred:
Product: hpg3110 -- Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Hewlett-Packard\Scanjet\DriverStore\hpgtg311.dll failed to register.  HRESULT -2147220473.  Contact your support personnel.

No idea if this is related or even important.

Well, I know why the buttons don't work, but I still don't know what a real fix would be.
The Windows Image Acquisition service starts at boot time as it should (its startup type is set to "Automatic")  but then stops after about 5 minutes. When it's not running, the buttons don't work.
If I start the service again, the buttons will work. It appears that once I've started the service manually, it will continue to run until the machine's shut down.

  • Scanning software for ScanJet G3110 not installing

I have downloaded the latest version of the recommended software directly from the HP support site.  OS is Win7 64 bit. The setup ends in few instants with no error messages but I have not desktop shortcut icons. The setup creates folder: "C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\" with just two subfolders: "Temp" and "Digital Imaging". Inside Digital Imaging folders I can't found many application files and there isn't the \bin\hpqkygrp.exe application.
On a pc with windows VISTA and default CD installer evertything works fine.
I noticed that many files missing from setup, like Common folder. The pc is in a network domain and I launched the setup as both domain user and domain administrator.
I tried many times in different days/months/updates... please help.

  • ScanJet N6010 Issues With Windows 7/8.1

Hi, I'm trying to install a ScanJet N6010 on a Windows 7 PC but it seems to be having a bit of trouble! Pressing the Scan To PDF button on the front pops up a window on the PC but not the correct one for scanning to PDF. Going into the 'HP Scanner Tools Utility' to configure the buttons doesn't seem to work either - the window loads but the four drop down menus (for each button) are empty, no values can be selected.
    Screenshot:
I've also tried this on a Windows 8.1 PC with the same result. Plugging it back into the original PC (which is also Windows 7 x64) and it works and the drop downs are also populated!
Is there anything I can try? According to the support matrix it's still a device that's supported by HP within Windows 7.
    Thanks
    Andy

i would suggest a system refresh. that happened to me as well and the refresh sorted it. A lot of gremlins seem to appear on windows 8.1 at first. but yes try a system refresh. and it should help. Waylen Watts

  • No drivers for scanjet 4570c scanner for windows 8x

no drivers for scanjet 4570c scanner for windows 8x
Sure, it's old- but, many PC accessories last a long time. This old scanner is working perfectly. I shouldn't have to junk it because HP, a multi billion dollar company doesn't want us to continue to use old accessories. I used to program- I know that it wouldn't be that big a deal to update the drivers for this old scanner to work on windows 8x.

You need to provide Win7 with device drivers for all the Mac-specific hardware, just like when you tried out BootCamp. In order to do so, use the BootCamp Assistant to download the latest Windows drivers and place them on media the Win7 installer can use.
Run BootCamp Assistant, click Continue to skip initial screen. Check the Download latest Windows support... box, uncheck all others. Click Continue. Select to burn to a DVD/CD or store in an external drive (USB Flash?). Click Continue. Allow the disk image to download, may take awhile. Burn or copy the image onto media, as per your previous choice. Then, when the Win7 installer says there are no drivers, use the media you prepared to install them.
Note that the above explanation is when using the diskless world of Lion. If you are using Snow Leopard, there should be a BootCamp disk you can use and not have to wait.

  • HP- scanjet G3110

I installed the new CD from Hewlett/Packard for the HP-scanjet G3110 (L2698-10008)  for Windows 7  OS, but do not have an icon/shortcut or anyway to get in and use the scanning program. The computer says that it's installed and functioning properly but I'm still unable to use it.

Hello herb430 Welcome to the forums!
I saw your post about how you have ran the installation CD for your Scanjet G3110 however, you do not see an icon on your desktop to use the scanner.
I would suggest trying the online download to see if that will install the scanner properly.

  • Is SharePoint 2010 Supported on Windows 2012 R2

However, we have a farm which is currently SP2010 SP1 which we are about to upgrade to SP2010 SP2 running on Windows Server 2008R2 and SQL Server 2008 R2. So the farm is currently not supported by Microsoft.
We are now looking to upgrade this farm to SP2013 SP1 running Windows Server 2012 R2 and SQL Server 2012.
We plan to start this process of by upgrading Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2012 R2.
Will SharePoint 2010 SP2 run on Windows 2012 R2 (or will we need Windows 2012) ?
Once Server 2012 R2 (or Server 2012) is up and running, we will upgrade SP2010 SP2 to Sp2013 SP1.
Finally upgrade SQL Server 2008R2 to SQL Server 2012.
So the part I don't know is will SharePoint 2010 SP2 run on Windows 2012 R2 or Windows 2012 ?
    Thanks

  • Level of local SQLCE/other DB support in windows phone 8.1/using linq to sql from dll?

I have had a mixed opinion for SQLCE support in windows phone 8/8.1. Is their still support for a local SQLCE or other database in windows phone 8.1? (A lot of different blog articles created their own handlers it appears and one used
an visual studio app called SQLmetal) I am hoping to at least figure out the libraries to use for Linq to SQL in windows phone 8.1 in order to access a local Database. I only need to retrieve data from a simple Database with one -
two tables and one of the tables has three fields.
I wish to access the local DB from a dll file even if I have to use Linq to SQL. The reason for this is to store data for a simple game while the app is running. However, I may need to send data to the database and would like to separate that
from the main application if possible. The only other question is: how do I add local database support to a dll file in windows phone 8.1? (This is my main objective but I need to know my database options first)

Windows Phone Silverlight 8.1 apps can still use LINQ to SQL (System.Data.Linq) see:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/hh202860(v=vs.105).aspx
For Windows Phone 8.1 [runtime] app you would need to use an external library like
    SQLite
There is a jumpstart training talk on using SQLite in Windows Phone 8.1 apps here:

I'm not sure what you mean by: "...access the local DB from a dll file..."  Do you mean you want the library used to access the database to be portable across
    platforms?

I'm not sure what you mean by: "...access the local DB from a dll file..."  Do you mean you want the library used to access the database to be portable across platforms?
This would be a yes. I need use it to submit an application to the store (I wish to have the data and business logic in the dll file while having the GUI separate). I am currently using the portable dll but if you think using another dll type would help
I will try that. I am a VB.NET programmer and so I can see where some programmers get their worries about SQLCE (It seems a lot of VB and VB.NET programmers like it from my time helping on the VB.NET forums second to SQL Server only).

Nevermind, I changed the dll type to "Silverlight" and I can use the System.Data.Linq reference at least.
