Hi Gurus,
For the Info Object Course (0TRAINING) attributes -Course Start Date(0TRAINBEGDA) Course End Date (0TRAINENDDA) are there in Master Data after activating Master data, when excute the report it showing as # for start & end dates. Please help me, points will be assigned.

Please check whether data is available in R3 side for these fields.
Also you can not add new attributes as it is. You have to right code in CMOD for populating the data in this field. Please load the data again after this code in CMOD. then only you will get values in these attribute fields.

If you want to use a top level site "department" list column in all sub-sites, you can go to top level site and create a
lookup type "Site column" to look up the value from the department list, then all sub-sites can use this lookup type site column created in top level site.

Report : How to show all the reports in Content Management

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how I can show the "Resource Locks" Report in Portal.
I can see 4 reports through Content Management -> Reports i.e. Approval Maintenance, Link Consistency, Resource Statistics, Time-based publishing.
If I want to add more reports over here than "How I can achieve it".
Also I have seen the settings System Administration -> System Configuration -> KM -> CM -> Repository Managers -> Reporting Repository
But here I find no combo box for Active Reports, so from where I can activate the reports and show them in Content Management -> Reports
Please help me.

Are you talkign about the report which give you details of which Portal Objects are currently locked?
If yes, then you can go to System Adminitrator > Monitoring > Object Locking

Open request not showing in the report

Hi,
We have built a query for planning to show open request. After 50,000 records, the request would be closed in the infoprovider. In the query, Request id is restricted with the most current data variable.
In Dev, the report shows the open request. But, in production, the report doesn't show the open request. When the Query properties are compared, the difference is the Statistics level is 0 in Dev and 1 in Production.
Is this an issue? If not, what could be the issue?

In all queries, which display data from transactional InfoCubes, characteristic 0REQUID must be included in the filter and variable 0S_RQMRC 'Most current data' must be used. This variable is part of the Business Content.This is required so that the system also includes the data records from open requests.
use this SAP EXIT variable in glbal filter. 0S_RQTRA (Most Current Data (Transactional InfoCube))..try

SPM 5.2 - problem with reason/activity fields - not showing in the report

Dear experts,
I have a situation that is hard to describe.
We have SPM 5.2 - all set and working, now the problem is that for some of the FF sessions the tool is either not reporting the reason/activity fields (due to some technical problem that is occuring randomly) or the users have found a way to abuse the fields and make thier way around them. (these fields are very important for our SOX controls)
I have created test users to see how they are entering without filling the reason/activity fields, but no luck - i couldnt enter.
As you know the Activity field is mandatory text field and at least one character must be entered, but I don`t think this is the workaround, because even if you put space the report still will show it. I have examples where the report is not showing anything.
The worst is that I can`t simulate such cases.
Have you ever heard of such nosense?

I think I found it - Application deficiency. It is the language that you are logged with. If it is not English the application is not recording the text that you type in the reason/activity fields upon FF session.
I hope the latest patches are fixing this!

Blank lines showing in the report

Hi,
When i run MEIS report i get a blank line for the colomn - Special unit of measure (qty filed) where as for some PO's it shows the qty and for some Po's it does not show.
Please tell what would be the problem with this colonm why is it not showing qty in that colonm

Images not showing in the report

Version: Crystal Reports XI

Currently I have a report that has images from the database (blob) , logo, and images that I inserted in the report. The report is being called by a jsp page. Our crystal server is installed in unix server.
When we try to run the report thru our web interface...... the report runs but the images are not showing. it only shows like x image in it.....
Don't have any idea how to resolve this....... please help

If you are using Web Service to access Reports through BOXI server, then as per documentation you need to call getImage of ReportEngine with callback handler after you call getDocumentInformation.

Stats from the Intel AppUp Center Are Not Showing in the Reports

I have tons of downloads and purchases for my app, and it is listed on both the Adobe Marketplace and the Intel AppUp center. The reports show what I assume to be accurate numbers for the Marketplace, but show 0's for all Intell AppUp stats.
I have twice purchased my app from the Intel AppUp store and have given it 1 week to show up, but nothing is there. Is there something wrong with the reporting mechanism for AppUp?

Currently the download numbers from Intel AppUp are not getting displayed on InMarket Portal. We are working on the fix, I will update you as soon as the fix is applied.

Variable based on calender dashboard prompt does not show in the report

hello,
i have at the dashboard a calender prompt for a column of date format and a pres variable for that value ('DAY'); i placed in the report a column of which content (fx) is @{DAY};
when i run the report the value of my variable is 0 instead of chosen calender day; the report gets filtered on the day, however only if data.day='@{DAY}; if i choose '<' or '>' it still filters on this one day; why is this happening and how can i work around?

Character is not showing in the report.

I have enhanced the data source with the new field and assigned that to dimension in the cube. I don't see the new character in the report to make it as free character. Any help in this regard is appreciated.

Not sure if this helps, but if your query is based of a multi provider, then make sure you are identifying the newly added field in the indentification section of the characteristics in MP.
Else, go to RSRT -> Environment -> Generate queries directly -> give the infocube name -> press F8.
Then logout of BEx and try after re-logging.

No records when run inside tomcat. The report preview shows data in Eclipse

I've designed a report using Crystal reports for Eclipse. The database server is Oracle. The preview window inside Eclipse shows correctly the report.If I run the report using Tomcat . The body is empty and no records are found. The query has no filter. Need report output same as its show in the previewer in the (.txt and .xls) format

I need an output file(in text and excel format) generated from the report builder exactly in same format as it shows in the Report previewer.
it should include all the labels as well as the data.

Hi Dharam
You can create text file output as seen on Live Previewer by generating to Text (File->Generate to File->Text). Ensure that you run Builder with the following command line parameter:
MODE=CHARACTER
If the Builder mode is not character (BITMAP), it will generate PostScript file if you do a File->Generate to File->Text.
You can create Excel format output from Reports with Delimited output (File->Generate to File->Delimited). In the ensuing dialog box, choose comma (,) as the delimiter to obtain a CSV file. Export this file in Excel.

Currency type is showing up in the report

Hi Gurus,
In one of report results, the currency type is missing and it showing the results as
-5,000.00 *
107,000.00 ERROR
Can some body helps me in correcting the same

its clearly due to multiple currency types. try to translate different currencies to one strandard currency, u want to show in the report.
suppose u have a amount KF in which contains data in 3 diiferent currencies(USD,CHF,GBP). now u have to translate these currencies to 1 standard currency type to display the result of this KF correctly.
here you can go to RSCUR tcode and create the translation type to translate the CHF and GBP currency types to USD and use this in the report to show the KF in USD type.

Discoverer viewer displaying all the reports instead of one report

I have created one menu and attached 4 reports to that.after that that menu is attached to the main menu.This menu is attached to the one xyz responsibility.
Now i am facing the problem is : After logging to the responsibility,i clicked on individual report ,but it is not displaying only one report.It is showing all the reports in the discoverer viewer.
Can you please help me in this issue..

Vendor information for some material's is missing in the report ?

Hi,
One of my user has raised a request that the vendor information for some material is not displayed in report where as its available in ECC, now i have checked in BI that information for 20 material numbers is missing even in BI that is the reason not showing in the report. Now what do I do ? Can you please suggest.

Kindly update the master data table for material and vendor.....
