Is shutterfly the only place I can get my prints done?
I have wasted too much time trying to get my edited photos uploaded to shutterfly today only to have the most special ones tossed out. They do not explain why they can't be uploaded. Why have them listed if they don't take my images?

Not legally. Copying commercial DVDs involves breaking the encryption on the disc, which is illegal as per the DMCA.

my macbook pro will not boot. It gets the grey screen with the apple until the bar is half way across and then shuts down. The only screen I can get to is in safe mode and I don't know what to do with that

When I use safari I keep getting a small coloured circular icon which in turn does not allow me to navigate at all. the only way I can get rid of it is to shut down and reboot. Can anyone help?

I use Outlook for my email, and about 90% of the time when I want to attach a pdf or jpg file it failes and andout 50% of the time when I'm trying to send a standered text email I also failes and the email masage crashs. The only way I can get my Outlook to work is if I switch to Firefox. I would rater not have to swich all my bookmarks over to Firefox.
Has any one eals had this problem?That's an Outlook issue. You'll probably get better responses posting on the Office for Mac forums.

I downloaded a free game last night and since then under the shared tab in my finder it says "hp002655a82ea0" and the only info I can get about it is that it is a pc. Then under console I see several "stealth mode connection" attempts ti TCP 192.168.1.107:##### from 74.125.225.82.443. The second number has jumped around and sometimes starts with 192. I dont really know what those numbers are but how do I stop them from attempting to get through my firewall and kick them out of my shared tab??? I encrypted all my files and made sure all sharing is turned off so I don't know what they are doing. Thank you very much.

Sounds like Firefox is "hanging at exit". That problem is frequently caused by an Extension or a Plugin. Read all of the following articles.<br /><br />
NOTE: Establish a habit of exiting/closing Firefox with Firefox button > Exit or File > Exit to allow an orderly shutdown of Firefox and closing of all of the files that Firefox has open.

I upgrated my computer to OS X Mountain Lion last night and since then my computer keeps restarting over and over again. The only way I can use it is by being in Safe Mode. Can you please tell me what I need to do so my computer works perfectly again.

Select the most recent panic log under the heading System Diagnostic Reports on the left. If you don't see that heading, select

In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header and body of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Hard restart.. While the phone is powered in, hold the power and home button. Hold them down and keep them held down. the phone will eventually shut itself off and reopen. keep held down till you see the appl elogo, then release. This will not delete anything off your phone, it will just force all apps to stop their current process. If you just turn the phone on and off, it will just pick up where it left off. Good luck

Since we downloaded Firefox 4 we have only been able to connect to the internet by using the dial up of outlook. Once connected in this way Firefox 4 works fine.
We have zone alarm firewall and NOD32 antivirus.I have now managed to get AX working on my BT home hub. I took my second non-working unit back to Apple in Solihull and got them to test it in store. They agreed it wasn't working. They then tested another unit in store and that did work so I brought that home. It would be worth you doing the same as I got a 10% discount off my next purchase of anything at Apple for my troubles.
I set my homehub security to None (from WEP - in homehub manager/advanced/wireless/security), plugged in my AX to homehub using an ethernet cable, then ran Airport utility and after a couple of runs it finally picked it up. I was able to set the configurations I wanted and 24 hours later it is still working. I set my homehub security settings back to WEP as soon as the AX was configured.
I also installed airport utility on my son's windows laptop and that is now able to print wirelessly as well. So, finally a result.
I would suggest you take your unit back to where you bought it from and get them to test it. If they offer you another one ask for a Mac genius
to test it in store for you first. Also ask them to run through the installation procedure with you. Don't forget to ask for something for your troubles:)

Really my question is about color space. How can you tell what color space an image is in (ie Adobe RGB or sRGB etc.)? I would like to at least see a description somewhere. I found and activated the metadata tabs for color space and color model, but the information that shows up makes no sense to me. For example an image that I believe to be sRGB show up only as:
Color Space: 1
Color Model: RGB
What does color space 1 mean?
Another example is an image that I believe to be Adobe RGB displaying only as Color Space: 65535
Color Model: RGB
I can find no clarity in any documentation.
Anybody know how to find the color space info in Aperture?
-SolDoes anyone know if it is possible to change the color space in Aperture as with other 'capture'/RAW workflow software. This is a handy feature if you forget to set it to the color space you want on the camera pre-shoot and I would have expected this to be handled by Aperture too.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I hate this beta and gannot get rid of it. I tried deleting the firefox link and reinstalling but it came back the same way. Help.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

as a beginner I bought the full element 12 I downloaded it but found that after putting all my photo in the Organised folder,I then went to the Photoshop editor but found it will not open????? even though I have the subscription for the full version its now asking if I want to use Photoshop will cost me another £7-49 per month
Does anything happen if you select a thumbnail in the Organizer and then click the Editor button on the bottom toolbar?
Did you buy the download from Adobe or from a store?
Do you have a desktop icon and what happens if you double click? Normally you should see both options; Organizer & Editor.
What computer and operating system are you using? -
FYI I have Snow Leopard. Is it because I didn't upgrade to Lion?
It's probably a notification, for example when a new email arrives. Check the preferences for the apps you have open at the time.
