Ipad mini keeps telling me siri is not available, connect to the internet and i haven't asked for siri to do anything

just got a new ipad mini. even when its just sitting idle, it will tell me that Siri is not available, connect to the internet. don't find anything in set up that speaks to sensitivity. what gives? anyone else had this issue?

So yesterday, I updated my iPad 3 to iOS 6, and I was really excited about Siri. However,everytime I ask Siri to do something like, "Launch Minecraft PE" it replys with something along the lines of "Uh oh. Something went wrong. Can you try asking again?" So I ask it again, same error message but she says it in a different way. I tried turning it on and off and on and off and all that. Nothing. Please help me.

If you have the 3rd generation iPad, it will be available when iOS6 releases this fall. Siri will most likely never be available for the iPad1 and iPad2.

As far as I know it's only been announced for the iPhone 4S so far - until if/when Apple announce that it will be available on other devices nobody on here know.

When will Siri be available for the iPod Touch and the iPad? Really wish Siri would be expanded to other high end Apple devises like the iPod Touch 4th generation and the new iPad instead of it just being iPhone 4S exclusive. That's such a cool feature!

Well.. Me and one of my good friends both have iPod Touch 4th gen 32gb's and my friend read on the Technobuffalo website that IOS 5.1 was suppose to come with Siri for the iPod touch and probably the iPad and I updated my iPod 4th gen to IOS 5.1 and it still doesn't have Siri !
