Is some content blocked in Saudi Arabia on Apple TV

I am attempting to watch Gravity on Apple TV here in Saudi Arabia. I can watch other movies but I get an error message with Gravity ... unable to connect to apple.

That message has no bearing on the content being blocked or not, it simply is a connectivity issue.

I recently purchased iPad mini Retina Display(4G). There is no Facetime included in the Pre-installed Apple apps because Facetime is blocked in Saudi Arabia. If i moved to another country, (Where Facetime is not blocked) how would i enable Facetime on my device as its not a stand alone app?

You cannot activate FaceTime. It is permanently disabled on any device purchased in SA. You cannot reverse that even if you leave the country.

I would like to transfer some content to a new iTunes account/Apple ID.

My daughter has been using my iTunes account/Apple ID to purchase music and manage her iPod.
She now has her own iTunes account/Apple ID and I would like to transfer the music she purchased under my account to her account.
Is there anyway to do this??? I have not been able to find any info about this.

If it's a gift card that you've just redeemed and you haven't spend any of it then you can try asking iTunes Support and see if they can move it over to your other account : iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If it's the remainder of a balance then no, it can only be used to buy content for that account, it can't be transferred to another account

The warranty is only applicable in the original country of purchase. Regardless, unless you have a friend to whom you can send it to in the US, you are out of luck. Apple does not accept international shipments.

If you value your job, it isn't a good idea to install unapproved programs on company owned hardware. A smarter approach would be to use Firefox Portable on a USB stick, as long as the USB ports aren't blocked or disabled. But that might not be approved either, but it is safer than installing Firefox on that PC.

All legitimate iPhones sold in SA have Facetime removed on the order of the SA Government and it cannot be reinstalled
any iPhone you purchase claiming to have FaceTime will be a grey import and may not function correctly as it will have been destined for another Country

Because your government doesn't want citizens making free calls over WiFi. Complain to them, as they are the one's who requested FaceTime be removed.

what you're saying here is that some people parallel import apple products around the normal channels and they are from other countries so they havent got facetime blocked
and others normally import apple products and they are blocked
and then you go on believing that if apple had a store in saudi things would be better rest asured that if they did they would sell products with facetime blocked

I looked in System Preferences > Language and Text and under the Region Tab I found you could set "Show All Regions"
This then added some Language choices that then had Countries listed next to them
I could chose Saudi Arabia here but it made not difference to the choices shown in Messages.
In Messages I was highlighting the iMessages Login I already have and clicking the Detail Button and then Logging in
After that I could look at the Drop Down for Language and Countries.
As you say it is a somewhat limited list.
I am also sure I did not really have my computer set to type in Arabic (It also still listed British in Language and Text > Input methods and showed the British flag rather than the Saudi one.)
It might also need a restart to make some changes take effect.

Complaint regarding maintenance and customer service in Saudi Arabia

In beginning I apologize If Im in the wrong Forum..
But I do not know where can I send my complaint ?? Is There a way to communicate with Lenovo management ??
if they continue with this performance (maintenance and customer service) this will negatively affect Lenovo reputation in market and they will lose a lot of customers.
My problem started when I bought a Lenovo Tablet Model IDEA S2109A-F Five months ago. After almost three Months the device was not charging.
I've sent to the agent for repair and for one and half month they did not perform any work and whenever I call often they does not response (during the official working time). and In the few times that they respond they says '' We are waiting for spare parts from Dubai ''
Then I contacted customer service last two weeks to tell them about my problem. They promised that they will answer me within 48 hours. Which never happened !!! And when I contact them again, they say they did not receive any response from the agent.
The tablets was a gift to my little son, he is very frustrating because of this issue.
This is my first time I with Lenovo products and I do not think I will repeat it again after this bad experience.

I am a British expat working in Saudi Arabia. It seems that only the App store is available in Saudi Arabia. There does not seem to be any way to access music, TV or movies from the Saudi Arabia iTunes store. Is the correct? What determines what is available in each country and is there any way to get music downloads implemented in the Saudi Arabia store?
Is it possible to have a choice of Arabic or English on the iTunes signup screen for Saudi Arabia. If you choose Saudia Arabia as the country the following screen is only in Arabic!

Only if Apple at some time is able to address all of the above issues and feels that the market justifies the costs involved. When, or indeed if, that will happen, no one here can say.

iPhones sold in Saudi Arabia don't have FaceTime due to restrictions by that country's government, and there is no way to install it, including via iOS updates (it's blocked by the device's serial number). You could download the Skype app as an alternative.

Can't view a website, issue related to mixed content blocking

I am having trouble viewing the website below in Firefox. This is Basic Talk, which is basically internet phone service, similar to Vonage. But it's cheaper and sold at Walmart. Was wondering why I could pull up their website just fine on my cell phone, but couldn't get it up on Firefox (or IE for that manner). In order to set up my account with them, I had to do it completely online via my cell phone. But after doing some research I came across some info in the Firefox Bugzilla support forums. And it appears this issue is related to the "Mixed Content Blocking" issues. I've tried viewing the site via "http" and "https" and neither way works in Firefox. But again, via my cellphone, just fine. If you all could please look into this and provide me further details with how I can view and access this site. I would greatly appreciate it.

Firefox 3 versions do not have mixed content blocking features, so if this happens with the 3.6.27 version that shows in the System Details List and also in other browsers like IE then something else is wrong.
