Is something going on with itune, seems really slow or not working
iTunes won't refresh or it is really slow today. It has been 2 hrs and I podcast still isn't refresh yet. Work fine yesterday
I have the same problem.
I try to reset the ID Apple, but it doesn't work.

The message function on my Ipad just quit working. I was using it while in Mexico and it just quit. I have come home and synced my Ipad with Itunes and function still does not work. How do I get this function to work again?
When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

Is there something going on with iTunes? I can't connect with any of my devices.
Is there something wrong with the ITunes store? I haven't been able to even connect with any of my 4 devices. I don't even get as far as password.
On my MacBook it cycle then says itunes store not connected. On my iPad, it says not able to connect to iTunes store. on my iPhone, the song I download just keeps blinking, and when I repurchase it, it says I purchased it and just keeps downloading (still from last nite)
I,ve downloaded some podcasts ok...it just doesn't seem to want my money..(hard to believe) -
What is wrong with itunes 11? it does not work
I have downloaded the latest version of itunes.
As soon as I start it it tries to download something called "Tap Paradise cove" and boasts a 43 hour download. Nothing happens if I try to stop it. No buttons on itunes work. It seems to lock up up the entire pc and I have forcibly power it off to do anything.
I have tried to uninstall rand reload several times and the uninstaller doesn't seem to work.
How do I get rid of it and wait until this gets sorted out?
AndyiTunes in Windows is difficult to uninstall.

There is no "adding" a device. Simply plug the iDevice into the computer. iTunes should automatically detect the device when it is connected.
iTunes can sync/manage as many iDevices as you want... there is no 1 device limit. -

ITunes 12.1.1 does NOT work with Windows - Fix??
Hi everyone,
I had issue after issue with the latest iTunes update (12.1.1) not working on my windows 7. It simply would not lunch when clicking on the shortcut to open.
After a fair bit of searching I found this alternative version which seemed to do the trick and now it works:
iTunes 12.1.1.4 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - iTunes64Setup.exe(2015-02-18)The "for older video cards" installer - which, like most prior "64 bit" versions of iTunes, is actually a 32 bit application with a 64 bit installer - may be a useful fallback if the full 64 bit version does not install or run correctly. Although 12.1.1.4 is a major improvement over 12.1.0.71, there are clearly still some lurking incompatibilities with some 64 bit Windows systems/components. It is, however, a little misleading to say that "iTunes 12.1.1 does NOT work with Windows" - in many cases it works fine without switching to the alternative version. I have the full 64-bit version of 12.1.1.4 running on three systems - two Windows 7 and one Windows 8.1 - no issues with either installation or operation on any of them.

What is going on with POP email? I can NOT retrieve email unless*...I reboot AND reset!* I POP 3 Comcast emails and my own URL email. Never any problems on Entourage. Hourly issues with my new iPhone—and it's only been 4 days.
This is *unbelievably frustrating* and negates why I got the dang thing in the first place.
Does anyone have a work around? Is this a known bug (Apple) or am I missing something?
+*Plus as a side note I think there are too many clicks into the In Box. Just a usability thing I wish I could set myself.+

Its not always the case, but I can't isolate the scenario which causes it to go into this weird mode... -
Updated my ipod touch to ios6 now apps close without warning and seems really slow to repsond. Also doesn't always connect to the Wifi never had any problems before upgrade
Try a hard reboot (hold home and power buttons down at the same time until your iPod reboots). If that doesn't work, do a restore in iTunes and do not restore from backup. You wqill lose your game data and settings, but your iPod should run better and work properly.

I added about 1500 songs in the past week, and now iTunes is really slow. Whenever I do anything with iTunes I get the colorful wheel. Can I fix this?
is this with iTunes 11.0.3 (the newest update that just came out a week or two ago)?
If so, don't do anything. I think 11.0.3 is a little buggy - I've noticed the spinning beachball too, sometimes clicking things does nothing, and it crashes a lot. I'm expecting/assuming that Apple will have another update out within a few weeks to fix the bugs.
Quitting and restarting iTunes might help, but I wouldn't do anything more than that. -

That's why you see this:
When I try to do the updates my computer says it has ready it goes through like it is downloading them then at the end it says some of the files could not be saved to "/" files.
After your restart your Mac, click the Apple menu (top left in your screen) then click: Software Update ...

I can't synch my iPhone with iTunes because the device does not show up in a device window when I plug it in...it's missing in action and thus I'm not able to add any content from the iTunes to my iPhone, e.g. podcasts. All the instructions on synching start with "find your device in the device window". But what if you have no device window?
Missing "message" from above: The iPad "DGMTR" is synced with another iTunes library on DGMTR's MacBook Pro. Do you want to erase this iPad and sync with this iTunes library? An iPad can be synched with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iTunes library.
I thought the libraries were the same. -
After I snync with iTunes my iPad Calendar is not updated from my computer where I keep my dates in Abacus. It used to do this.
