Is SONY going to take pre-orders for the launch day of the PS4?

Hello, I have recently checked all my local retailers to find that they were out of PS4 launch day pre-orders, and I did some research and heard SONY hasn't yet started taking pre-orders... Is this true?

As of right now, we do not have an ETA as to when we will start pre-orders. My guess is that once something more definite is out regarding the console, such as release date or specs, then we will start taking pre-orders. Maybe this summer?

How does porting work with pre-ordering for the iPhone 5?

I am currently a T-mobile customer with two lines, one for my wife and one for myself. We want to pre-order the iPhone 5 and become Verizon customers. Do I just pre-order the phones and then port our numbers over after we have received them? I guess what I am asking is, do I need to give Verizon any kind of heads up when we pre-order that we will want to port numbers, or can I just take care of all of that once the phones arrive?
I know I have to keep my T-mobile account active until the numbers are ported, so I will definitely being doing that.

The best way to pre-order your iPhone 5, is with the request to port-in your numbers from your current carrier. Here is the link to start your pre-order: http://bit.ly/RRkIKx After every option, select "Next" (top of screen). After you select your device(s), plan(s), and accessories, you will be asked if you want a new number, or if you want to transfer current numbers. If you transfer number, you will be asked for the number you want to transfer, current account number, PIN or password, owner's name, number to be reached, and full address. (Therefore, you will need all that when ordering.) The numbers will be ported over once you receive the phones, and they are activated. Until then, they will not be disconnected from your current carrier.

Why weren't there pre-orders for the 5/29 Amiibo wave?

I went to a store a long time ago and printed out my ticket for this wave and when I got to the register two minutes later, I couldn't pre-order the Amiibo I had the tickets for. The employees tried it a few different ways and I was there over half an hour the first time. They told me to come back the next day, so I took the bus early so I could order and still make it to class on time. The pre-orders still weren't up. I kept going back but nothing. It's stupid that I wasted so much time trying to pre-order with actual tickets and I still don't get them. At the very least, why weren't they available? Best Buy shouldn't get any Amiibo at all. It's the worst retailer when it comes to Amiibo.

I preordered an album and a song was released but it won't download. It just has a clear button that says "pre-ordered". How do I download the song but keep my pre-order for the rest of the album?

I recently pre-ordered Ed Sheeran's "X Deluxe version" (or Multiply). He said he was releasing a song a day until the album was released. The most recent was Afire Love. The button where I should have "download" just has a clear button that says "pre-ordered". Shouldn't the song have already downloaded? How can I get the song without having to cancel my pre-order or getting charged for purchasing the song and the preorder?

When will iPad 3 start pre-order for the 23 March-countries ?

I want to pre-order the new iPad but I live in Belgium and I can't pre-order yet
Ipad comes out 23 March in my country so does anyone know when it will start it's pre-orders if there will be any at all ?

Apple hasn't announced anything yet... I suggest you follow the twitter feeds of one of the blogs that tracks Apple and iPads (Macrumors, 9to5mac, imore, tuaw). They race to get out updates of news like that.

When will the next wave of pre-orders for the iPhone 5 be shipped

I sadly had to pre-order my new iPhone 5 through AT&T last Friday morning and was told I would get the phone today and then told it would be Oct 5th. I went into a store to see what I can do and although they have plenty in stock they told me nothing and then informed me it would be late October before it shipped. I know that this has nothing to do with you but since you have wonderful customer service and knowledgable peole can you please give me an accurate date on when the next wave of pre-orders will be shipped. Thank you so much. You guys are the best.

You're not addressing Apple here, we're all users like yourself.
If you want to know when the next shipment will be, call your local store or whomever you ordered it from and ask them.

Pre-orders for Vol II of two-volume series

I'm working on Volume II of a two-book series. When I post Vol. I on iTunes (this month, March, 2013), is there a mechanism to accept pre-orders for the second volume? If so, what time frame lag between volumes is deemed suitable. (I'm expecting Vol. II to follow Vol. I by six months.) Also, what 'proof' does Apple need that Vol. II is legitimate. Thanks.

Pre order of the apple watch

How long dose it take for apple to take money out for the pre-order for the apple sports Watch?

In the past purchases with Apple, my card has been hit for $1.00 within a week of making the pre-order. This is to insure that the card you provided is valid and has a credit line remaining to support the charge initiated for the Apple watch.....

Why can't I buy a movie that I pre-ordered, with the iTunes card already redeemed?

See, I bought an iTunes card the other day and redeemed it that same day. After doing so, I pre-ordered a movie that was expected to be released on the 18th of March(today). So I tried to purchase the movie I pre-ordered with the credit I redeemed from the iTunes card, but it is asking for my billing information. So I clicked on the link where it says "To redeem code, click here", and it asked me to enter a code. My concern is why can't I buy that movie I pre-ordered with I the money I have in my iTunes account?

You didn't purchase the movie, you pre-ordered it. So the code works to put in the pre-order for the movie. So it's on hold, so to speak. Then when the movie comes out (and only then) are you actually billed, so you have to enter the code again in case you or someone else who has access to your computer used some -- perhaps too much of the credit in the meantime.
If I use a regular credit card and pre-order something, oftentimes there is some kind of perk or extra included along with it for me in return for pre-ordering. Like an extra feature for example. I don't actually get billed until I actually get the movie and so it's kinda like that.
Did you lose the code?

Can I upgrade from the standard destiny pre-order to the ghost edition?

Hey is there anyway I can upgrade my regular Destiny pre-order to the Ghost Edition or will I have to canel my previous preorder to buy the Ghost Edition?

Thanks for pre-ordering Destiny at Best Buy! With the recent announcement of the Ghost and Limited Editions of Destiny, it’s no surprise that you’d be inquiring about switching your pre-order. I’ve only recently started really digging into the details of Destiny and I can already tell that this game will likely live up to the hype, and then some!
Kandlestick makes a few pretty good points. First, you would need to cancel your existing pre-order for the standard edition of Destiny and create a new pre-order for the Ghost Edition. However, as Kandlestick also mentioned, you may want to check the availability of the Ghost edition prior to cancelling your current pre-order. To my knowledge, the Ghost version is likely no longer available due to it being very limited in quantity. Click here to see the different versions and their availability.
If you wish to cancel your current pre-order, the method of doing so is determined by how you originally pre-ordered the game. If you pre-ordered on BestBuy.com, log in to your account and pull up the order. You should be able to cancel the pre-order from within the current order details. If you pre-ordered in-store, simply return to the store with your receipt and visit the Customer Service desk.

What is going on with the Sony Wireless Gold Headset for the PS4?

The release date provided by Sony was 2/10/2014. Every other store and website, including Amazon, Gamestop, etc. is selling these now. Best Buy still has them listed as a "Pre-Order". I went to a store today, and they didn't have them out on the shelf. When I inquired about them, they told me that they had them in stock in the back, but were NOT allowed to sell them to customers. No reason was given. I then called the only other store in my area, and they too said that they have them in stock, but due to instructions from corporate, were NOT allowed to sell them to customers.
This flies in the face of everything I'm seeing online, which is that people are walking into other Best Buy locations and buying them without issue. The website still has them up in Pre-Order status, but does say will ship them in 1 Business Day. I would really like to buy these from BB today, rather than waiting for shipping or getting them from Amazon. There is NO reason why these shouldn't be able to be sold yet.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

This headset looks pretty great! I can certainly understand wanting to pick a pair up as soon as possible.
I’m not sure what may have been going on, but it appears to be resolved at this time since the listing on BestBuy.com now has these as “Add to Cart.” If they were still listed as “Pre-Order” over the weekend, it’s entirely possible that the SKU hadn’t been made available to sell yet in store either. Stores may have had them in stock, but the system may not have allowed the sale. I apologize for any inconvenience that this caused.
I understand that you had been looking at other options for purchasing this headset, but if you’re still looking to buy one you should be able to do so at any Best Buy store that currently has them in stock or through BestBuy.com.

Please explain 3G-s Pre-Order for Store Pickup procedure

I've done this but what exactly does this get me? The fine print says +'Pre-authorization does not guarantee iPhone availability at an Apple Retail Store. iPhone is sold on a first-come, first-served basis'.+
So what exactly is the benefit to going this route? Will a separate and earlier line be opened up at Apple stores JUST for these pre-orders on the 19th?

One of the floor reps at the Apple Store here told me that if I go through the process and reserve online, then I can just come into the store to finish the purchase. I asked if that would mean that there will be one there waiting on me and I was told yes there would.
While she did not say this I am taking that to mean that say a store gets 10,000 phones and 5,000 reserved then they would only release 5,000 for people waiting in line.

Can't purchase a song from an Album that I cancelled the pre-order for?

Ok, so here's the deal, I bought a £15 voucher and made some purchases, the first of which was the pre-order of an Album that was released today (Sunday 24th). I didn't know however, that the cost of the purchase was deducted from your balance once you actually downloaded the album, and I've spent my credit to the point where I'm pennies of being able to pay for the pre-order of the Album. I decided however, to hit cancel pre-order and simply just download the songs that I could afford, then download the wrest at a later date. However, the album that I've cancelled my pre-order for, still displays as 'Purchased'? I was able to download one song for pre-ordering the album, but that was a deduction of 99p, the price of a single song. I'm curious why I cant't purchase the wrest of the album individually, am I tied to the pre-order because I downloaded a song that was advertised as 'Early Access', or do I now have to pay the full cost of the Album because I've surpassed the deadline to cancel the pre-order (if there is such a thing).
Some one please help me
P.S. I've only been using iTunes for less than a week, so I'm pretty much a noob.

Delete the problem track from the iTunes library, allowing iTunes to move the track file to the Trash. Then download the track again from the iTunes Store via this procedure:

Change delivery method for my pre-order for MGS V CE?

I have preordered the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - Collector's Edition for PS4 in March. What I didn't realize at that time is I will be out of the country from 8/24 to 9/6, which means there will be nobody at my place to receive the delivery on 9/1. I was wondering if I could put the order on hold so I could pick it up at a local store on 9/7 or could I ship it to another address (i.e. my friend's place) so it wouldn't get returned and get cancelled.
