  • What are the files needed for downloading the MSS -BusinessPackage

    Dear Gurus,
    Any body can give me a suggestion for downloading the MSS -BusinessPackage ,and also what are the files needed for the deployment -its in a urgent basis and reward points welcome!
    regards,
    S.Rajeshkumar

    Hi Rajesh,
    You have to download and deploy the following through SDM (for NW04s/EP7),
    1. Business Package for MSS (contains roles,worksets for your Business Package)
    2. PCUI_GP (WebDynpro Component)
    3. SAP_MSS (WebDynpro Coponent - your MSS application files)
    To use ESS and MSS in Conjunction, you also have to deploy Business Package for Common Parts.
    Backend SAP systems should have SAP HR and SAP FIN configured.

  • Minimum Files needed for bare bones XP Install?`

    Hello
    I'm new here having recently bought my first MBP. Does anyone know the minimum files needed for a custom (lite) XP Pro install using BootCamp?
    All I want to run is DV-Rack plus maybe 1 or 2 other programs but I don't want to waste space on my 200gb HD. I do't even want to install MS Office because I like iWorks better.
    Thanks
    Allen

    My recommendation is nothing short of 12GB. For your purposes, that you indicated in your post, 12GB should be fine. Please also consider any future uses that you may have for Windows XP. I have seen several times, on this forum, where a user sets the partition too low and then wishes to increase the size and it cannot be done unless Boot Camp and Windows is re-installed from scratch.
    If you can afford the disk space then I would even recommend 32GB and that would allow you to have some space left for future programs if any.

    Can synced photos on my iPad be sent back to my Mac? I lost pics in my iPhoto file needed for a presentation.

    And of course I forgot about the built in way to send them back to the Mac .... Email them. You can email up to 5 photos at at time.
    Launch the photos app, while looking at the photos in thumbnail view - tap the arrow icon in the upper right corner - tap on up to 5 photos at a time - Tap the Share button in the upper left corner - tap email from the resulting window.

    Driver files needed for the following Sony dvd/cd rom drive:  "dvd-rom  ddu 1615".
    The dvd-rom drive will not read any type of dvd or cd.
    desktop computer:  Dell Dimension E310 , windows xp, service pack 3.
    This Sony dvd rom was installed (by someone else) and replaced the dvd rom that initially came with the Dell E310.
    Where can I find driver files for this dvd rom?
    Thanks,
    Denise

    Hello Denise,
    Welcome to the Sony Community.
    All of the Sony internal optical drives are plug & play with Windows so no drivers are required for detection in your PC. If you are having issues getting your drive detected then please try the following:
    • Ensure the Sony drive is set as a secondary master by itself. If you have another disc burner or a zip drive on the same IDE cable, please separate them.
    • Ensure you have the latest Service pack for your Windows operating system and any other updates for your system installed.
    service, storage support email
    • Please remove your secondary IDE channel from the Device Manager.
    If the issue is still not resolved, service may be required. You may contact the Sony Storage support team by e-mail at: [email protected] for further information.
    Thank you for your post.

  • Are all these files needed for MBR streaming? event.xml,manifest.xml,event1.f4m,event1.m3u8?

    Also why does 'Manifest.xml use '<manifest xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/f4m/1.0">' and 'liveshow.f4m' use '<manifest xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/f4m/2.0">' ?
    Thanks for all the help!

    Event.xml is used for Recording purpose - the configuration in there is used for F4F recording.
    Manifest.xml is used to serve .f4m file in case if you are using Multi-level manifest.
    liveshow.f4m is new way of delivering f4m and is called Multi-level manifest and is used for HDS
    liveshow.m3u8 is used for HLS
    The difference between Manifest.xml and liveshow.f4m is that they use different specification of F4M file specification - first one is based on 1.0 specification and later is on 2.0 specification.

  • Configuring Receiver File Adapter for J2SE

    Hi All,
    I have a scenario in which i need to convert the IDOC data into a fixed length file.
    I did mapping according to the output structure of the file.
    My Output file format is as follows...
    Document1          document2      document3      etc
    Each document contains different fields with different lengths
    In XI-FIle adapter we give Recordset structure : Document1,Document2,Document3.
    But while configuring Receiver File adapter in J2SE.
    There is no option mentioned in J2SE Adapter.
    <b>http://saphelp.border-states.com/EN/95/bb623c6369f454e10000000a114084/content.htm</b>
    Please throw some light on the same.
    Thank You
    Regards,
    Reehan

    as far as i read the document, what i understood is that the J2SE adapter has a limitation.
    your XML structure should be as mention in the link;
    <i>To convert a table in XML format to pure text format, the document format must be the same as that which is generated by the sender file/FTP adapter in mode FILE2XMBWITHROWCONVERSION <i>(with the default value <row> for the structure)</i> and the sender JDBC adapter. This means that the document structure looks like this:
    <resultset>
    <row>
    <column-name1>column-value</column-name1>
    <column-name2>column-value</column-name2>
    <column-name3>column-value</column-name3>
    </row>
    <row>
    <column-name1>column-value</column-name1>
    <column-name2>column-value</column-name2>
    <column-name3>column-value</column-name3>
    </row>
    </resultset>
    This is an example for 3 columns and 2 lines. The number of lines and columns is, of course, unlimited. <b>The XML elements in italics can be defined by the user and the elements of a line must be grouped within an element of type <row> … </row></b>.</i>
    So cannot take the <b>recordset structure</b> as we have for the normal File adapter.

  • UME LDAP configuration XML file

    Dear Experts-
    I am configuring multiple LDAP as ume for EP 7.0 EHP2 . I am following the the document below.
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/8036faa9-3d95-2c10-e596-c7c97082f07e?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true
    It mentions xml file to be dowloaded is  dataSourceConfiguration_multiLDAP_db.xml file but ther eis no such file. Can you please let me know where I can find this.
    The only ones I see are.
    Microsoft ADS readonly , deep and flat
    Microsoft ADS Deep & flat
    Novell LDAP Read only flat and deep
    Novell LDAP flat & deep
    DatasourceConfiguration_simens_deep_readonly_db
    Siemes LDAP servers Read flat & deep
    Just to let you know we are using MS ADS flat. Please  let me which which file I can choose to put the second LDAP data source.
    Thanks,
    John

    John,
    There is no such file (dataSourceConfiguration_multiLDAP_db.xml) delivered for configuring multiple LDAP data sources.
    You will need to download dataSourceConfiguration_ads_readonly_db.xml and modify as per your needs and upload it with your own custom name.
    1. Open the dataSourceConfiguration_ads_readonly_db.xml file using a text
    editor (other than Notepad) and locate the <dataSource.../> section for the u201CCORP_LDAPu201D.
    2. For each additional LDAP server, paste the copy into the document after the original
    </dataSourceu2026> ending tag for the CORP_LDAP source. Change the name of the data source for
    pasted copy to u201CCORP_LDAP_Xu201D or some other value. This value becomes a data source identifier
    for UME and prefixes the principal Ids.
    For each LDAP data source, locate the <privateSectionu2026> within the <dataSourceu2026> tag and
    enter the following lines if they are not present:
    <ume.ldap.access.server_name>SERVER_HOSTNAME</ume.ldap.access.server_name>
    <ume.ldap.access.server_port>SERVER_PORT</ume.ldap.access.server_port>
    <ume.ldap.access.user>DS_USER_NAME</ume.ldap.access.user>
    <ume.ldap.access.password>DS_PASSWORD</ume.ldap.access.password>
    <ume.ldap.access.base_path.user>USER_ROOT_IN_DS</ume.ldap.access.base_path.user>
    <ume.ldap.access.base_path.grup>GROUP_ROOT_IN_DS</ume.ldap.access.base_path.grup
    >
    Save this file with your custom name and upload it.

  • Which is the servlet configuration XML file in tomcat

    Which/where is the servlet configuration file in Tomcat?
    Do we need to modify this anytime?

    You configure tomcat itself using the server.xml file in the conf folder, but there are many other xml files that can be modified, which can have an affect on your servlets or jsps.
    I think you may be talking about the web.xml file which resides in your WEB-INF folder of your webapp (defined by your context tags in server.xml). Don't confuse this with the web.xml file that sits in the servers conf folder.
    Search for web.xml to get details of what you can put in here. There are plenty of examples across the internet.

  • Writing to XML files need help

    Guys,
    I need to pull out data from the database and write it to multiple flat files in XML.
    I can't do it on the database server using utl_file, I need to do it on the client.
    Can you tell me the best way to achieve it.
    I am giving you a sample plsql that we have built.
    I have to create one file for each deptno.
    Your values suggestions/inputs would be appreciated.
    Dhiren
    declare
    queryCtx dbms_xmlquery.ctxType;
    cursor c1 is select * from dept;
    result clob;
    begin
    for c1rec in c1
    loop
    queryCtx := DBMS_XMLquery.newContext('select .... from emp where deptno = c1.deptno');
    result := DBMS_XMLquery.getXML(queryctx);
    DBMS_XMLquery.closecontext(queryctx);
    end loop;
    end;

    use the above pl/sql to generate xml.
    next step would be to create a folder on the xmldb repository.
    this has to be done with SYS user.
    DECLARE
    l_success      BOOLEAN := FALSE;
    l_resourceURL  resource_view.any_path%TYPE := '/public/scott';
    BEGIN
    IF (NOT DBMS_XDB.EXISTSRESOURCE(l_resourceURL)) THEN
         l_success := DBMS_XDB.CREATEFOLDER(l_resourceURL);
         COMMIT;
    END IF;
    END;
    /so now you have your folder as /public/scott under which you can create resources.
    resources in XMLDB is nothing but files.
    so the generated xml can be saved as xml file under the above path.
    to create a resource, you need xmldata and the resource name.
    eg.
    dbms_xdb.createresource('/public/scott/myxml.xml', l_xml_data);
    commit;
    now you can ftp the resource to the client,
    open <server name> 2100
    user scott tiger
    get /public/scott/myxml.xml c:\temp\myxml.xml
    close
    bye
    that's it.
    good luck.
    check the port of the ftp . normally by default it is 2100 unless it is changed by your admin,

  • Can't import xml file: "need translation document/template" - - help please

    Hi there,
    Someone edited a project with fcp 5.1. I have fcp 5.0. I've been asked to tweak the project (for no charge, which is fine with me; it's for a tiny 3rd-world charity organization).
    He sent me the project files as xml documents... but when I double click on them I get a window saying they "need translation document file", or translation template. Nothing in my fcp folder or app seems to do the trick.
    Can someone please advise me on this?
    I did a search before posting, and noticed that someone advised someone else that xml version 2 is the better xml file to work with. I don't know whether the xml files this guy sent me are v. 1 or 2.
    Any help would be very much appreciated!
    Malcolm

    Thank you Studio X. I've just sent off the request. I'll let you know if it works.
    IF it doesn't work... should I upgrade to FCStudio2, do you think? I didn't want to have to do that (I'm not being paid for this work, so I don't really want to go out of pocket), but if this XML2 thing doesnt' work, I'm not going to be able to do this project at all, it would seem. Which I would feel badly about.
    The other thing is, I've been sort of thinking that some day I'm going to have to get FCStudio2, so maybe I should just push that day up a bit.
    It would really bother me, though, if I go to the expense of getting FCStudio2, and then I still can't open these files.
    Cheers,
    Malcolm

  • Text file needed for Defor01

    hi,,
         i need the text file for (Delfor01)Idoc type.
    whether its possible to see, if means say me the steps,
    Or Say the links to refer..
    Advance thaks.

    Hi Bala,
    It is possible to generate IDoc in XML format file.
    You need to maintain file port for XML (t/code WE21) and ensure the partner profile (t/code WE20) output pointed to XML file port.
    In this case, when IDoc generated SAP system will take care all conversion format.
    This could be applied for inbound process as well (SAP receives XML file from external system/SAP).
    Hope this will help.

  • XML file format for Captivate 5 Quiz Result Analyzer

    I need to know how the XML files and folders created by Adobe's php files are structured so I can try to duplicate the proces in Coldfusion.
    We're a Microsoft shop so there's no way I'd be able to set up a WAMP server.
    Is there documentation anywhere or would somebody be willing to post an example?
    Many thanks in advance...

    One of Adobe's Tech folks on the forum mentioned writing something like this for ColdFusion a few months back.  He never got back to me and told me when he did write it it wouldn't be supported.

  • Cannot close an XML file used for parsing

    Hi All,
    I appears to have difficulty closing (possibly flushing it first) an XML file that was subsequently being parsed without success. The error generated is:
    org.jdom.input.JDOMParseException: Error on line 23: The element type "form" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</form>".
    Below is the code snippets of readData() to retrieve (HTML) data from a website, save it to a file, then convert to XML format before returning the new filename:
    public String readData() {
        try {
              URL url  = new URL("http://www.abc.com");
              URLConnection connection = url.openConnection();
              InputStream isInHtml = url.openStream();   // throws an IOException
              disInHtml = new DataInputStream(new BufferedInputStream(isInHtml));
              System.out.flush();
              FileOutputStream fosOutHtml = null;
              fosOutHtml = new FileOutputStream("C:\\Temp\\ABC.html");
              int oneChar, count=0;
              while ((oneChar=disInHtml.read()) != -1)
                  fosOutHtml.write(oneChar);
              isInHtml.close();
              disInHtml.close();
              fosOutHtml.flush();    // optional
              fosOutHtml.close();
        try {
              File fileInHtml = new File("C:\\Temp\\ABC.html");
              FileReader frInHtml = new FileReader(fileInHtml);
              BufferedReader brInHtml = new BufferedReader(frInHtml);
              String string = "";
              while (brInHtml.ready())
                  string += brInHtml.readLine() + "\n";
              fwOutXml  = new FileWriter("C:\\Temp\\ABC.xml");
              pwOutXml  = new PrintWriter(fwOutXml);
              light_html2xml html2xml = new light_html2xml();
              pwOutXml.print(html2xml.Html2Xml(string));
              system.out.flush()     // optional
              fwOutXml.flush();      // optional
              fwOutXml.close();
              pwOutXml.flush();      // optional
              pwOutXml.close();
              return fileInHtml.getAbsolutePath();
    // parseData reads the XML file using the name returned by readData()
    public void parseData(String XMLFilename)
        try
            FileReader frInXml = new FileReader(FileName);
            BufferedReader brInXml = new BufferedReader(frInXml);
            SAXBuilder saxBuilder = new SAXBuilder("org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser"); // JDOMParseException generated.
    }These codes would worked when they were in a single method but I have since placed some structure around them using a number methods.
    This issue has risen in th past where I have been able to close the XML file prior to reading them again. However, I don't have a solution for it this time round.
    I am running JDK 1.6.0_10, Netbeans 6.1, JDOM 1.1 on Windows XP platform.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.
    Many thanks,
    Jack

    Hi Alain,
    I have added the additional I/O statements in the finally clause as follows but the problem still persisted:
    readData()
    // reading data (html) from the webpage and save it in html format.
    try {
    catch { …. }
    finally {
           System.out.flush();
           isInHtml.close();
           disInHtml.close();
           fosOutHtml.flush();
           fosOutHtml.getFD().sync();
           fosOutHtml.close();
    // convert the html webpage format to xml format
    try {
    catch { …. }
    finally {
           System.out.flush();
           fwOutXml.flush();
           fwOutXml.close();
           pwOutXml.flush();
           pwOutXml.close();
    Below is a short listing of the new XML file:
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1" ?>
    - <html>
    - <head>

      <input type="submit" value="find!" class="searchbutton" alt="Perform search" />
      <div class="hide" />
      </li>
    …What I find it interesting is that it is possible to parse the above XML file with the same parseData() from another class without any problem. As a result, I have come to the following conclusion so far:
    ( i ) There is some file locking that is prevent saxBuilder from parsing the XML file at the time.
    ( ii ) The light_html2xml does not appears to have correctly converted over the orginal Html to Xml but some how it has been picked up by the parser in the same class, but not by the same parser from another class.
    ( iii ) I would like to use another conversion tool such as Tagsoup in place of light_html2xml to determine where the cause of this issue is coming from. As a result, would you or anyone be able to assist me coming up with a few lines of conversion statements using Tagsoup since I am not familiar with using this tool?
    ( iv ) light_html2xml is good as it strip out all namespace, DTD, Entity Resolver, etc and only return what I need. JTidy does correct conversion but include namespace, DTD, Entity Resolver which makes parsing difficulty.
    Many thanks again,
    Jack

  • I fouled up; erased library .itl and .xml files; need a little help

    I think I see what I did wrong (my issue relates to this reply post I submitted earlier today >> https://discussions.apple.com/message/16254985#16254985 but I don't think there's any need to go back and read that post to get the gist of my problem).
    So, after knocking around and reading a whole bunch of forum posts and Apple support pubs, I now know I did something dumb.
    Simply put, last night, in the course of attempting to delete from my MacBook Pro the iTunes library file residing there (the one designed to contain actual media files, i.e., music, books, podcasts, etc.), I also deleted the iTunes Library.itl and iTunes Library.xml files.  Yes, doh! is right.
    [BTW, the idea behind deleting the media library on the MBP was because my media files are -- and have been for some time -- located on an external hard drive.  So the good news is I still have all my media.  Of course, the bad news is I lost all playlists and a host of song-specific information and I'm sure a bunch of other stuff that is organized on the iTunes Library.itl file.  (Apple's helpful info sheet on the .itl and .xml files at >> http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1660)]
    So  I opened up iTunes today and there is nothing there, i.e., looks like just opened for the first time ever.  I now know that in the absence of the .itl and .xml files (which I trashed yesterday), iTunes went ahead and created new, empty versions of these files.
    HERE'S THE QUESTION: what should or can i do now to rebuild my library?  My media files still reside on my external HD and there they must stay because there isn't remotely enough room on the MBP hard drive itself.
    I'm just sort of stumped.  And skittish.  I don't want to make another dumb mistake that will make things even worse.  Any ideas?

    Hey, sorry to hear that, but good to know  that you have all your "stuff" and its just a matter of getting it all back together in the right place.  So, I have some ideas why it happened to me and maybe why this happened to you, which may be relevant later, but first I'll first explain how I got out of this jam.
    After much investigating, I finally did a search for .itl files and ended up "finding" one in the Media folder itself, specifically in the Music folder (yeah, should have done this much earlier).  Looking around, I also found the other files and folders that are supposed to be at same directory level as "iTunes Media."
    At this point, I just moved them back to where they were supposed to be and opened iTunes and, voila, there was my stuff (albeit not quite all of it or exactly as it should be).  Then, after making sure my Media folder was properly identified in Advanced Preferences, I checked the boxes under File -> Library -> Organize Library and iTunes started doing some activity that seemed like it was reorganizing or rechecking the organization (you can see I am no expert here).
    So like I indicated, it wasn't exactly the way it was when I last used iTunes before I had the problems (e.g., various podcasts, books, etc. werent there -- so i just added them into the Library manually, i.e., File -> Add To Library, etc.).
    Anyway, I hope this helps if you haven't already fixed your problem.  If not, I might have some other ideas I came across while still searching for solution to my problem.  Best of luck.
