Is TEDs transducer information saved in the .tdms file?

I have a TEDs-capable Pressure Transducer connected to a NI-9237 module in a cDAQ-9174. In this application, I am collecting data using SignalExpress 2014. The attached file shows the information displayed in MAX, for the TEDs-capable transducer. When I collect the data, is the TEDs information saved as metadata into the .tdms file? I do not see it in the channel properties within DIAdem. Thank you.

  • In trying to update I received this message: Firefox 3.6.3(2).dmg.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

In trying to download an update I first received: "There were problems checking for, downloading, or installing this update. Firefox could not be updated because: No data was received (please try again)" It also gave a link to download manually. When I tried from the Firefox website I got: /Users/(deleted for privacy)/Desktop/Firefox 3.6.3(2).dmg.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator. I tried this 3 times.

I have tried downloading the file several times and get the same message: "No data received." I have no other system problems, I navigate well to other sites, but I'm unable to download this upgrade. Any suggestions?

  • Cannot save webpage (.html file) because get error sayting that a " .js" file could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Any ideas where my problem is? Thx.

Every time I attempt to save a webpage (.html format) I get a message indicating that some .js-type file was not saved because the source file could not be read.
I did some "cleanup" of add-ons because there were so many. Is it possible I deactivated one that I need to read .js files, or could/would it be something else?
    Thanks.

    Please help.
    It is getting worse
Adobe flash player is crashing. I already uninstalled and re installed the latest ver. Also it is hanging randomly.

It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting downloaded files or is interfering otherwise.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
    See:
You can try to set the browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone pref on the <b>about:config</b> page to false.

  • "ABC could not be saved, because the source file could not be read" error when downloading

Almost every time I download a file, the download gets to the end and then I get this error "<filename> could not be saved, because the source file could not be read", and then the download fails.
I checked my addons and they are not the problem. This doesn't happen when I try another Firefox profile. I tried several solutions offered in "http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_save_or_download_files" but they didn't help. It's not my antivirus.
I hate to start another profile because I have my current one just the way I like it.
    Please help!

You can check the file attributes of all the files in the Firefox Profile Folder to make sure that you have write permission.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile:
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)
    See:

  • Could not be saved because the source file could not be read.

I tried to download and after a while, this error message: ''[filename] could not be saved because the source file could not be read.'' I've been on google searching but I could not find the answer can someone PLEASE help me. it happened when downloading a game and I've already seen a few times before but it was less important.
sorry for the bad english I used a translator.

This problem isn't only happening with Firefox 4, for windows, as the System Details, and Tags indicate.
I'm using a Mac laptop (OS X 10.5.8 -- Leopard), using Firefox 6, and have been having this problem with large files for quite a while ... possibly since FF 4, but definitely with FF 5. The large files I've had the problem with are in the 500 - 900 MB range, and from commercial sites as well as most recently with a zip file containing photos from a friend which he uploaded to dl.dropbox.com ... attempted it numerous times, after trying the various suggested "fixes", and each time at around 255 MB, the download quits, with the error that file cannot be read from the server.
The various proposed solutions I've found on the web -- resetting the user configured options connected to downloads in FF config (about:config); deleting the compreg.dat file in the FF profile folder, don't pause the download (never have done this) etc.
Others have opined that the problem is flaky intermittent WiFi, or Security/Anti Virus software interfering with FF's accessibility to the file during the download; or a caching problem at one's ISP -- HOWEVER Safari doesn't experience this problem at all. Each time that I've experienced it in FF, I launch Safari, and can download the file completely without any errors.
Would really like to see someone from Mozilla respond to this ... lots of us are experiencing it.
Whatever happened to Netscape's ability to recover from download interruptions and resume a download at the point where it had been interrupted (like when a dial up modem dropped the line in the middle of the download) -- sure would be useful to see that feature come back in FF.
    Thanks,
    Muiz

I am having trouble dating to version 3.6.14 or updating to the Beta testing. I am running Linux/Ubutu OS and I get this error message:/tmp/p7x3vko2.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Please help. Thank you , Deb

    Solved for me.
I set the owner/permissions of my profile's mozilla folder's (and all the files in it) to read/write access, and the problem disappeared.
    in linux:''
    * cd /home/myusername/.mozilla
    * chown -cR myusername:mygroup ./
    * chmod -cR +rw ./
'''Never do that with root privs (nor with sudo)'''

I am running version 3.6.22 and would like to update. However when I tried to update from the Mozilla web site I got the message: "/tmp/S_ku+qmL.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator"
What do I do now?? Paul Stager [email protected]

I have tried downloading the file several times and get the same message: "No data received." I have no other system problems, I navigate well to other sites, but I'm unable to download this upgrade. Any suggestions?

  • I get the following error when trying to open a pdf file... '*pdf.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read"

I get the following error when trying to open a pdf file... '*pdf.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read". I am able to open pdf files in IE and other programs.

I am encountering the same problem -- though with .qfx files from my bank. This worked fine in Firefox 31 ESR, but since upgrading to Firefox 33.0, I get the "<name>.qfx.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read" when I attempt to download. (I should add that downloading PDF statements from the same site works fine, and that the qfx downloads work fine in IE and Chrome.)
I tried safe mode, it is still broken. Tried v34 beta, no luck. I reverted to version 31, it works again.
I guess I will stick with the older version until a solution is found...or just use an alternate browser to download my financial data.

  • Signature preferences (AIR) are not saved in the fla file

    Hi,
    - I create a new fla file in Flash CS5 Professional,
    - I go to publish settings and select AIR2 as the target
    - I click the Settings button on the right
These settings are supposed to be saved with the fla file, since all of them are related to the project.
Application name, icons, files to include, etc, are all preferences related to the fla file of which you are editing the settings.
However, when you go to the "Signature" tab and select a digital certificate to sign the air application with, this setting will NOT be saved into the file.
Instead, whenever you publish ANY air application, it will use by default the last certificate you have used, even if you used it to publish _another_ application.
That is absurd, because this is a tab within the "publish settings" and all publish settings are specific to a fla file.
Is there a way to fix it? Perhaps some global preference somewhere, or a windows registry key?
Or is it just a bug?
    thanks
    m.

I would think the signature is the signature specific to the user/company who has opened the fla and is used to identify the developer/company who has created the application.
Now if the signature setting was saved on the fla, and the fla is opened on a different guys machine,
first - he would not have the signature that you had and at the same location
second - it does not make sense to him, since he is not you.
It is unlikely that that a person/company creating applications would sign the swf/air with different signatures.
So I would think that the current behaviour is correct and the signature is specific to the person who has opened the application rather than the application itself.
    Hope this explains it.

  • Error:  The iT Mus Lib cannot be saved.  The required file cannot be found.

    I'm getting this error repeatedly:
"The iTunes Music Library cannot be saved. The required file cannot be found"
I've reinstalled several times and even reformatted my computer. Still no luck. It was fine on an older version but this one just won't cooperate. I have to re add all files to the library each time I launch iTunes. arrrgh!
    Please help =/

    hi bpfriend!
    i'm just doublechecking something here:
"The iTunes Music Library cannot be saved. The required file cannot be found"
is it saying file or folder?
incredibly rare (i've only seen it reported twice or thrice), but i have seen a message saying:
"The iTunes application could not be opened. The required folder cannot be found."
... with some earlier versions of itunes 6.0.x.
    love, b
