Is the App store in iTunes down?

I keep getting an error when I try to access the App Store in the iTunes store.
It says "The item you've requested is not currently available in the US Store".
Everything else is working, and it's just the Apps for some odd reason (my apps are still able to update though).
Is the App Store in iTunes down?

I have exactly the same problem. What's going on???

Reset the iPad and try again. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Let go of the buttons, let the iPad start up.

Have you restarted your phone?
If so, try a reset. Press and hold the home & sleep/wake buttons until the screen goes blank, ignoring the power off slider if it comes up.
Check for the app again after the phone starts back up.

Well, if they have truly disappeared then something is really messed up. For really messed up stuff, you need to set it to factory default condition, and then afterwards, restore it from your backup.

When I upgraded my 4s phone to ios7, I no longer had the app store or itunes, can I get it back and how?

Make sure that you haven't restricted it in the settings - Settings>General>Restrictions>On. If you have it set to on you may have disabled app downloads and that removes the icon from the screen.
Swipe for screen to screen to look for it - it may be hidden in a folder.
You can restore it the home screen quite easily, but this method will restore your home screen to the way it looked "out of the box" and your current home screen structure will be removed.
Anyway the way you can do this is - Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

How do I get the App Store and iTunes apps back on my iPod?

I can't login to the app store or iTunes. When i type in my password it says "an apple id for (email address) has already been created. The email address shown does not include @aol.com, just everything before that.

I am having the same problem. It was working fine until yesterday.

TS1398 my ipad is connected to my wi-fi but the app store and itunes store never open, the internet nev    er works and it is always loading. i dont understand as it is a brand new ipad.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
