Is the cRIO 9067 compatible with LabVIEW 2013?

I just purchased 2 cRIO 9067s and I'm trying to configure one of them to use.  I got the IP address set and booted it into safe mode.  The status light blinks twice, then pauses.  The documention says this means I need to download software.  NI MAX only suggests using versions 14.?, which I'm assuming is LabVIEW 2014, but that option is grayed out.  And if I  try to do a custom install, everything in the list produces a concfict and wont download.  Is the 9067 only compatible with LV 2014?  Or am I missing a step?  the version of LV that I am using is 2013.  I'm installing 2014 to test this theory, but I'm no thopeful.  Thanks for the help people.

The cRIO-9067 does require LabVIEW and NI-RIO 2014. You can use http://download.ni.com/pub/gdc/tut/crio_software_versions.htm to look up the minimum software support for cRIO products.
I don't see how I can link directly to the result, but if you select "CompactRIO Chassis and Controllers" from the drop down and then "cRIO-9067" you should see this table.

  • Is the Keithley 2612A compatible with Labview 7.1?

    Hi,
I've got a shiny new Keithley 2612A dual channel sourcemeter and would like to start using it our lab's system.  We are currently using LabView 7.1.
I found a driver for the 2612A, but it says it's only compatible with LabView 8 or higher:
    http://www.keithley.com/base_download?dassetid=51950
Does anyone know of another driver, or other method that I might get this thing working in LabView 7.1?
    Many thanks,
    John

Download it and post it to the Downconvert thread.
edit - It's a project style driver which was introduced with LabVIEW 8. It might take a little longer.

  • Is cRIO-9073 compatible with LabVIEW 8.5.1?

    I just received a cRIO-9073 and a cRIO-9074.
When I configure them, both of them appear properly in MAX.
When I add them to a LabVIEW project, the cRIO-9073 does not show its FPGA target. The cRIO-9074 does show it.
I am using LabVIEW 8.5.1, is it compatible with the cRIO-9073?
    Thanks for any help.

  • Is the Intel I340-T4 Ethernet card compatible with LabView 8.6?

We are currently looking in to having our LabView program process the output of two Allied Vision cameras, run through a PCI GigE card.
On our old machine (32-bit Vista), we have a PRO/1000 PT Quad working just fine with the LabView interface - and we want to upgrade to a better PC with 64-bit Win 7.
We are under the impression that PRO/1000 PT is not compatible with Win 7, and were looking into either I340 quad-port adapters:
    http://ark.intel.com/products/49186/Intel-Ethernet-Server-Adapter-I340-T4
Does anyone have any insight as to the compatibilities of the Intel 82580 controllers with LabView 8.6?

    Hi Civa,
Scott here from AVT technical support.   You are correct re. that PT card not being Win7 compatible.  Here's a link to our current recommendations for NICs and switches.
    http://www.alliedvisiontec.com/fileadmin/content/PDF/Support/Application_Notes/Hardware_Selection_fo...
If it's NOT in that list, it doesn't mean it won't work, merely that we haven't tested it and do not know.  We do not attempt to test every 3rd party product on the market.
And our testing is typical with AVT SDKs not with Labview, though there are thousands of joint AVT / NI customers, and we'd have heard by now if there were any conflicts, I am confident.

    Scott

Is RoboHelp 9 compatible with Office 2013?

Not officially. If you want to import or link, then it will not work. However, if you only need to create printed documentation, then right click the print layout and select Properties. That way it will work. Obviously if you hit problems, Adobe will not support that but chances are you will be OK.

  • Verilog code in ISE 14.2 can be integrated with LABVIEW 2013?

i just want to ask if it is possible to integrate the verilog code with the VI in labview? will it work properly?

Yes it is possible to integrate Verilog code with LabVIEW 2013. The following KnowledgeBase article is currently being updated to reference LabVIEW 2013:

  • Are USB-6008 drivers available that make it compatible with LabVIEW 6.1?

I'm using a USB-6008 Multifunction DAQ, but it is not compatable with teh version of LabVIEW I'm using, 6.1. I may be able to upgrade to LabVIEW 7.1 to solve the problem, but I wanted to know what alternatives I have. Are there any available drivers or patches that allow the USB-6008 to be recognized by LabVIEW 6.1?

Unfortunately, no. The driver for the USB-6008, DAQmx Base 1.5 is only compatible with LabVIEW 7.0 or newer.

  • Is the DAQ Assistant compatible with LabView7?

I am equipped with LabView7 and a NI DAQ-Pad 6015 and am trying to monitor temperature using two thermocouples. I have searched for some tutorials online but most suggest using DAQ assistant, which is not listed in the input section of my functions palette. I have downloaded the most recent NI-DAQmx driver which is supposed to be compatible with LabView 7.x. I'm not sure if this means that it is compatible with LabView 7.0. I still do not see the DAQ assistant appear.
Any help or suggestions (about DAQ assistant or how to program in LabView7 to solve my problem) is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I have installed DAQmx 8.1 and now the DAQ assistance appears. However, when I select Analog Input >> Temperature >> Thermocouple and arrive at the physical channels screen, it says "No supported devices found."
I also notice that when I open the Measurement & Automation explorer, it does not appear to detect my DAQ pad, even though the light on it is blinking Ready. A window pops up and says "Can not find RTE directory: C:\Windows\system32\cvirte" followed by "Unable to open c:\program files\national instruments\max\bin\cvirte.rsc". After clicking okay to both windows, I check under Devices and Interfaces to see that my DAQpad 6015 is not listed.
Previously before I had uninstalled everything and reinstalled using DAQmx 8.1 my device was detected, but now it doesn't seem to be detected anymore.
Also, I just realized that while it says everywhere that I have LabView7, when I start the program, the opening window has LabView7 Express written on it. I hope this isn't the cause of all the troubles.

  • I need a step motor and controller compatible with LabView Can you recommend any

I need a step motor compatible with LabView and I thought i would check with you before i moved forward in my experiment

    Dear chapbs,
I've attached a sample cart below to show you the components for a possible setup of your system. Keep in mind that whatever stepper drive you purchased would power your motor. If you go ahead with the purchase of a controller & drive, I would highly recommend contacting NI to insure that you purchased the correct accessory components and cables to connect & power the components. I hope the  sample cart is helpful. I created it  by browsing ni.com, adding items to my cart, and then saving the cart to an excel file. Please post back if you have additional questions.

  • Is IMAQ 2.6 fully compatible with Labview 6i?

Hello...does anybody knows if NI IMAQ is fully compatible with ALbview 6i?
What i´m trying to do is to convert a bmp or jpg image to a 2d array..i can do this with the vi ColorImageToArray but how can i get an array for each color plane without using IMAQ Vision module?
Is there a way to convert the 2D 32 bits array that gives the ColorImageToArray into three different color planes or arrays?..is it possible to do this without Vision?
    thanks
    thanks

    Hello,
NI-IMAQ version 2.6 is fully compatible with LabVIEW 6.x. NI-IMAQ driver is an image acquisition driver and it has all the functionality required for acquiring images from an external video source through National Instruments frame grabbers.
In order to do image processing, such as performing operations on saved images from the hard drive, you will need IMAQ Vision image processing libraries.
    Hope this helps!

  • When IMAQ vision that is compatible with labview 8.0 is going to be released?

Hi, i got labview 8.0 but it is not compatible with imaq vision 7.x series. I am wondering when the new version of IMAQ vision that will be compatible with labview 8.0 is going to be released.
    Thank you,
    Christos

    Hey Matt,
There is also a great knowledgebase document called How do I install my IMAQ software/drivers with LabVIEW 8?, which has an update on it that takes care of moving everything that you need to move in order to get Vision 7.x.x to work with LabVIEW 8.0. Of course nothing extra has to be done with the IMAQ Vision 8.0 software to work with LabVIEW 8.0. One more thing, similarily to LabVIEW 8.0, you can now download the Vision Development Module Version 8.0 software from NI's website in case you wanted to try out (30-day trial) the Vision 8.0 software before upgrading.
I hope this helps. Have a great day.
    Regards,
    DJ L.

  • Is Max 4.1 compatible with Labview 7.0?

I see that Max 4.1 comes with daqmx 8.3 which is NOT listed as Labview 7.0 compatible.  I also see that installing the last daqmx for labview 7.0 (ie daqmx 8.1) would install max 4.0.3.  Therefore, if i have max 4.1 installed with labview 7.0/daqmx8.1 am I expected to have issues?

    degenste,
Just to clarify a bit, Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) displays a list of NI devices and software on your computer, but it does not install support for those devices.  The DAQmx driver is responsible for installing support for our Data Acquisition products.  Support for USB M-Series devices was not added until version 8.3 of DAQmx.  This knowledge base article describes why the USB M-Series product line has to be used with DAQmx 8.3.
You are correct when saying that DAQmx 8.3 is not compatible with LabVIEW 7.0 as stated in this document.  With this set up, your only options would be to upgrade your LabVIEW version or choose a different form factor such as PCI for your device.

  • Got the message "not compatible with this signal" on TV when connecting ATV to HD TV.

I got the message "not compatible with this signal" on TV when connecting Apple TV to my Sharp HD TV.

Go into safe mode an uninstall this new game.
If this doesn't work, uninstall the graphics driver so Win will install it again after restart.
