Is the "Find My Friends" app broken right now?

Last night I tried using "Find My Friends" and then it bumped me out of my saved login and said incorrect Apple ID or password (even though I am using the correct login info). I had been using it fine before this for a month. Now I'm trying to login, and it either continues to say the login is incorrect or it just gives no response after pressing the Sign In button.
I can login to www.icloud.com using the exact same account just fine.
I have been using the same account for both my iTunes store account and my iCloud account.
Is there anyone at Apple listening? I think you have a major bug in your servers.

I turned the power off my iPhone completely this time, then after powering back on Find My Friends allowed me to login.
This Apple app has a bug that is cleared by recycling the power.
Reminds me of Windows, how it sometimes needs a complete reboot to fix the OS bugs. Looks like Apple has the same thing going on with the iPhone a little bit.

So if I am checking to see that everyone is on their way and I have Notify activated regardless who its reporting on it say I (John Doe) has left. You state you configured your iCloud account on your iPhone 5 but the Find My iPhone app says it's not registered.
Did you actually enable Find My iPhone on the phone?

If you’re asked to sign in, enter your Apple ID or, if you don’t have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID, then follow the instructions.
If Find My iPhone (or Find My iPad or Find My iPod) is turned off, tap to turn it on.

Again, it's under Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone (at the bottom).

Find my friends app works differently now with iOS 8. I delete messages and am constantly being asked to share location....no "always share" option....

In previous iOS I shared my location with "my friends" one time, permanently in the Find My Friends app. Now, I am being asked to share over and over--I delete messages in iMessage all the time. I want to share my location with my friends one time, permanently. Is this possible?

I seem to have a similar problem. I share my location with User-A via Find My Friends. I have a conversation with User-A via Messages. I delete the conversation with User-A in Messages. Suddenly, User-A no longer has permission to follow me via Find My Friends.
I prefer to keep my message history in Messages clean, but do not want to revoke other users' permissions to follow me in Find My Friends each time I delete Messages conversations.
Is this a bug or intended? Either way, is there a workaround or solution, other than having A) having to keep all message history or B) constantly remember to grant users permission to follow me in Find My Friends over and over again?

Why can't I install the find my friend app onto my ipad?

When I try to enter with my account on Find my Friend, a message appears saying that my id is valid, but my iPad is not eligible for the free service iCloud.

Find my friends app no longer works

The find my friend app was working. But now it no longer works. it doesn't work on my iPhone or my iPad. I've looked in settings to see what I can do, and I did read something where it says you can only use one device at a time. So I set it for iphone and it doesn't work. Any help?

Regarding device visibility in iTunes try Andrei Cerbu's post here, JF Fourie's post here, or see TS1538: iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows, in particular section 5, forcing a driver update.
Once the device shows in iTunes you should be able to access the file sharing area from the apps tab of the device when connected.
You may find the apps in question are able to transfer files into Dropbox which might provide an alternate transfer mechanism.

i deleted the find my friends app. will i need to re-add all my contacts when i reinstall it.

It is possible, but if you have a recent backup of your phone, you could just restore from that backup and everything would be there.

Incorrect spellings in Find My Friends app

Hi all!
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. The apps sections were all for specific Apple apps and didn't include this one.
Recently the Find My Friends app has started mis-spelling names of locations. I live in the UK, in London, but when a friend of mine isn't in a location I've saved and it gives me the name of their location, it has started spelling London as Londen and England as Engeland. Why could this be happening? Does it rely on Google maps? Literally the only thing that springs to mind, unlikely though it is, is that Google changed the spellings for the Olympics as one of the odd little things they do from time to time (try going on Google maps on your computer and getting directions from the shire to mordor and you'll see what they've done!). I realise this is unlikely though.
Anyone else had this spelling error? It's the same on my iPhone and iPad.

SOLUTION:
For anyone reading this and curious of the solution, it turns out the issue was a change in default location / language associated with my Apple ID. Turns out it randomly defaulted to Dutch. Just gotta log in to the Apple website ID managing section and change it back.

I can't anymore locate one of my friends on find my friends app

Since last friday, I can't anymore locate one of my friends on find my friends app. All my other friends can be located.
I asked him if he turned the hide from followers tag on. He told me he didn't. He told me as well he didn't turn the location off.
But he just told me that when he opens the find my friend app it opens and closes immediately.
How is it possible to fix this problem?

I personally would suggest to delete and re-download the app from the app store.

Welcome to the Apple community.
You might start out by force quitting the "find my friends" app, then restarting it. If this doesn't help try deleting it and then reinstalling it.

Is he using the iPad or iPhone?
Is Settings > iCloud account registered?
Try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
