:and it would appear that the search would work, use the little dropdown underneath the big green arrow to actually pull up the advanced search you asked for, and it appears to work, I didn't actually bring up any of the results.

Occasionally my computer seems to go off on a frolic of its own - lights on, whirring, very slow to respond to my instructions, etc. Recently I noticed a message in the bottom right corner of my screen along the lines 'Choose what I share' There was an explanation that Mozilla sent Firefox information [or vice versa] and a claim this somehow made my life better. I thought I would choose what I share but the message disappeared and I have been unable to find the relevant page.

You could use firefox 3.6, which is old but still supported and secure. However the best solution is to give up on using Google Toolbar because Google no longer support it with firefox, mainly because it has little to offer.
You can still save google bookmarks by copying them into Firefox. Please have a look at

How do I go back to the previous version? New one is not compatible with my OSX version.

I'm running 10.4.11 and had Firefox 3.6.something. I installed the Firefox update, assuming that if it was not compatible with my OSX version, it wouldn't install. First mistake, huge. I need to go back to my previous version. I don't have system resources to upgrade the OS version.

I had Photoshop CS2 with an old Mac that has died. I currently use Windows 7 these days and will for at least a few more years.
Upgrading from a Mac version of CS2 what would be the least expensive path to get a version of Photoshop for my Windows 7 PC? I don't feel I need the most recent version. Just a version that works well with Windows 7 64bit and would be my least expensive upgrade route. I upgraded my Mac version of CS2 from an earlier version(if I remember correctly it was version 6 or 7), so the CS2 was the upgrade and the earlier version was the full if that matters.

Is it possible to install a previous version of firefox so that my programs work again? Also, when I receive email from some people, and print it, it prints out very strange, not in a normal format. If you do uninstall firefox 4 take care NOT to use the option that removes settings, that will remove all your profile information for ALL installed versions of firefox, including all your bookmarks and passwords.

When i reboot, a paid for app 'Find My Phone' reverts to the free version

This is driving me crazy...
i have bought 1 paid for app called Find My Phone.
Every time i restart the device, either because i have installed or new app or my phone freezes, the paid for version disappears and Find My Phone reverts to the free version.
I have been in contact with the developer, Genoa Networks, who told me to contact blackbury app world as its a device problem but i have no idea who to contact or how to contact them.
Can anyone help with this problem or point me in the right direction?

What version of Adobe Photoshop Elements is compatible with OS 10.2.8?

My nephew has inherited a power pc g3 running OS 10.2.8. The latest version of photoshop elements is not compatible with his system. I also know that Elements 2.0 needs a classic environment. I have been to the Apple Store and also contacted Adobe, as well as searched for specs on the web. Is anyone out there running photoshop elements in an environment similar to my nephew's? IF so, what version of Photoshop Elements are you using. Thanks.
