Is the G5 I-Sight imac 110-220 compatible? Urgent...

I'm heading over to Russia, and I'm trying to figure out if my imac is compatible with 220 voltage over there. I can't see any reference to it anywhere on the actual imac... Anyone know definitively, or how I can find out?

Seems very very confusing. iMac with isight says auto switch... but then right under says all imacs sold in US are not switchable... any idea what is right? Mine WAS bought in the US... THANKS

For anyone else reading this thread, it is worth knowing that sometimes an email is, or can be, corrupted thereby jamming the works. The solution above is good, but I just wanted to suggest another one.
If the problem arises, go to an online mail access service, such as Mail2Web.com and login to you mail account there and delete the offending message.

And George, as this is all entirely voluntary, whinging about no takers may not endear people to you. Besides which, a few minutes of searching on Google would have found you a number of solutions.

It looks as though 2011 is not compatible with 2003 per some searches online, but what are some options I have to gain full access again? I purchased parallels in hopes that this my help and I am able to use remote desktop connection to log on to server but can not drag and drop files I need. There is a shared drive on that Server we all use to exchange files.
The two main issues are gaining access to my email again and ability to drag and drop files from mac to pc. I hope this is enough info to get some solutions.
PS - IT person says my iMac's IP is what his server does not understand so that is why I can not login.

Office 2011 is not compatbile with Exchange 2003.

If they are both using the same iCloud ID (assuming you are running your mail from iCloud), then yes, the email will disappear from your Mac after you delete it from your phone and after your phone sycs with iCloud and your Mac syncs with iCloud.
I use a windows phone, but it works the same.

I tried to reinstall the OS, but it wants me to go online while installing and use my apple id, but this is not my iMAC, so I don't want to use my account. Also, I am working in a building that will not allow me network access until I authenticate, which can't be done unless I open the browser first. So I'm stuck at this point. I can't even restore a time machine backup that I have because it gives the error message that the system encountered an error. Any suggestions?

Requirements for iPhone 5:
Syncing with iTunes on a Mac or PC requires:
Mac: OS X v10.6.8 or later
PC: Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
iTunes 10.7 or later
The highest version of iTunes you can install is 10.6.3 which will not sync with the iPhone 5.

Go to Mail Preferences>Accounts, click the '+' button below the list of accounts and insert the settings, username and password as instructed. Some account types can be set up automatically as soon as Mail knows the emails address (because the server settings are built in), in other cases you will have to get them from your ISP.

When you add a song under one of the sign ons it doesn't add it to all 3 libraries. Before I updated to LION, We had one main library with all the songs we bought, imported from cd's etc. Then any of the three of us could add it to our own IPOD instead of buying the song agin. It is one house, one IMAC. It was working fine under Leopard.

The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

Thanks - I guess it is like there were two of me!
I bought the iPhone first and it seemed natural to link it to the (work) e-mail address which was in constant use. The iMac for home use came next and it seemed natural to use my home e-mail address, particularly as I knew by then that I would lose the work address after my imminent retirement. The same logic went for the recent puchase of the MacAir. I am not sure what happened with the iPad (also a recent purchase) - iTunes seemed to puch me towards the same ID as the iPhone.
It is not a huge problem - just makes my persona look schizoid! Otherwise very happy with everything Apple.

Move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on File, and choose Transfer Purchases. If you need to authorize the computer, the command is in the Store menu.

How do i use airport extreme to extend the range of my imac

I have an 2012 Imac and I would like to plug the Internet to my imac and use the the imac wireless and use my airport express to extend the range of the imac wireless signal. I am having an awfully hard time figuring this out - can anyone pass along a link to a document or any suggestions?

Although two AirPort Extremes are pictured in the example, the setup for a Time Capsule and AirPort Express would be exactly the same.
In general, a good starting location for the AirPort Express would be a point that is approximately half the distance from the Time Capsule and the area that needs more wireless coverage. You may need to experiment with the location of the Express a bit depending on the number of obstructions like walls and/or ceilings in the signal path

Are you saying that Yos/10.10, as a volume located in a mounted external drive won't appear as an option in Snow Leopard's Startup Disc, in Sys Prefs? I've never heard this one before. AFAIK any mounted volume, regardless of OS, should appear there. I would think that, if it appears in the Boot Picker/Startup Manager it would also appear and could be booted to from Snow's Startup Disk. I can't test this myself, since I don't have Yos. You can use a program like Carbon Copy Cloner. It will clone your HD to the external. The format is the same as your internal drive and you can boot from it using Option key at boot time.
