Is the HP Deskjet 1510 ePrint supported?

I purchased a HP Deskjet 1510 All-In-One but cannot set up ePrint on it, despite trying for the past 2 hours and scouring these forums.
Can someone either help me, as I can't find out how to print a page with the print code (I got another page to print but it has no ePrint code), or can you confirm whether or not this printer actually supports ePrint. Thanks.

Hi,
The HP Deskjet 1510 is a USB onlu printer.
ePrint is a service offered by a network connected printers only and therefore is not supported for your printer.
You may find any supported model for ePrint listed below, as you may see your model is not listed:

  • Error message - The HP Deskjet 1510 Series was not found

I bought the Deskjet 1514 on 19/07/15 and installed it on my relatively new laptop. It worked ok, then I did the Windows 10 upgrade on 01/08/15. I installed the updated drivers from HP for this device. What ever I do, (have uninstalled software, reinstalled at least 4 times, used the scan doctor, swapped USB cables and ports, cleaned the disk...) I just get the message The HP Deskjet 1510 series was not found, yet when aligning the ink cartridges the scanner will work but I cannot do the test scan in the scan doctor or scan anything using the HP software (which you have to do as there is no proper control panel on the actual device). As bought the device primarily as a scanner, I am not happy and just want the thing to work but haven't a clue how to proceed except to take the thing back to Tesco and get a refund and buy a Canon instead... Please can anyone help as the HP support is useless? The printer part is working fine, which makes it ridiculous.

Thank you for including all of the troubleshooting steps that you have attempted prior to reaching out for support. At this time I am going to have you complete some additional troubleshooting steps. We will be repeating the uninstall process for troubleshooting today as it is crucial that we have a nice clean slate to work with. Please complete all of the steps below.   Please disconnect the USB Cable from your printer and computer before proceeding.   Step 1:  Remove Driver:  1. Click on your Start button    2. Type Programs and Features in the 'Ask me Anything' box to the right of the Start button. If you just start typing when the Start screen is open it should automatically start typing in the 'Ask me Anything' section.   3. When Programs and Features opens scroll down the list of populated programs and look for your HP Deskjet. If you see your HP Deskjet listed please click on it and choose Uninstall. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the uninstall.  4. Next, click on the Start button and type Devices in the 'Ask me Anything' box  5. Click Devices and Printers   6. Under the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Deskjet.  If the HP Deskjet is listed, please right click on it and select 'Remvoe Device' or 'Delete' 7. Next, under the Printers section in the Devices and Printers window, click on any printer that shows once just to highlight it. Click on Print Server Properties at the top of the window.  8. • Is it possible to connect HP DESKJET 1510 All-in-One series Wireless printer without USB cable?

my mom recently bought me the HP DESKJET 1510 All-in-One series so i have an at home printer for school work. but when we bought it we did not know there was a certain USB that had to connect to the printer. so we bought the wrong one. now i have a project due and i cannot print. we have a small USB that fits it but its hard to connect it to the computer and printer because its so small. so if we can have it sent to the printer without the USB that would be perfect!

    Hi,
No, in many cases printers won't come with USB cables. You need a cable which is similar to the following one:

  • Cannot scan to computer with HP Deskjet 1510 due to missing scan icon ?

    Hi there,
    I have recently purchased a HP Deskjet 1510 series printer ;
the installation of the drivers on my Windows XP laptop went well, however now when I double-click the HP Deskjet 1510 series icon on my desktop, the panel that opens up contains the PRINT icon but NOT the SCAN icon ..
Does anyone know what I could do please ?
    Thanks for the help,
    R.R

    Hi Jamieson
sorry for the late reply but I was away for a while.
As per your advice, I've run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, but on the final screen, it says that it is "unable to find
the HP scan application software on [my] computer".
This is strange, considering that the installation software came out of the box from the CD..
    Screen captures here after:
(I ran the tool twice, with the 2 different sources but got the same result twice):
The Scan Doctor finally recommended me to download and install the latest Full Feature software from HP Customer
    Care:
So I installed the latest Full Feature software, but when I ran it, the install failed (!).
    Screen capture:
Right now, I can scan using mspaint, but I really would like to have the SCAN button in the HP panel.
Do you think there is a quick fix, or should I give up looking for a solution and simply use mspaint ?

  • My hp deskjet 1510 series does not print when connected to my hplap top (windows Vista),

My hp deskjet 1510 series does not print when connected to my hp lap top (windows Vista), it says the printer is not active, although it is default printer, connected and on. However, it does work when connected to the (also HP) lap top (windows 8) of my husband.  I did everything the hp print and scan doctor advised and also what I could find at HP support (like switch of fire walls, reinstall everything, check printpooler ec etc)... it still does nothing except that I managed to print a diagnostic print which should give information about the condition,  but it only gives numbers and letters like : 11. SN = [Edited for Personal Information] Yr  12 PER = 05YR etc, that does not really help me :-). It won't print any testpages.  H E L P!!!

    Hello Elisabeeth,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you're unable to print using the Deskjet 1510. I will do my best to assist you! When you reinstall the HP software, did the installation state it was complete?

  • HP Deskjet 1510 - Printing Issue

    Hi,
Sorry if I have entered this in the wrong place but I am new to the forum.
My father has purchased a new HP Deskjet 1510. He has a Toshiba Laptop running off Windows Vista 32-bit.
I have used the installation CD provided to install and also downloaded the latest HP Drivers from the website as prompted.
All appears to have installed correctly  and I am able to print all types of documents except word documents. (PDF's, Screengrabs, HTML pages etc.) When I print a word document, the printer goes through the motions but prints a blank page in the end.
I am also able to copy & scan documents in both black & white and colour.
I have tried various troubleshooting applications (HP Print & Scan Doctor, Windows Print Fix etc.) and all say that the printer and settings are all in working order.
I have also removed and reinstalled the printer but the problem remains.
I have also installed the printer on my own laptop (Dell Inspirion running off Windows 8) but the printing from word issue remains.
I am at my wits end and would appreciate if someone could provide some assistance.
    Cheers.
