No, the iPhone 4 is only available in 8GB now. The 16GB and 32GB versions have been discontinued.

First, are you positive it is really not there? Have you looked in your iTunes folder in your Music folder, and in the media folders there? Do you see your media files?
If your media are gone it is a lot easier to restore from a proper computer backup. Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

Unfortunately, not much to go on here. There are any of twenty different reasons why backups are not occurring, and no shortcuts that I know of to find out why.

Work up from whatever version you have.
Any work you value should be backed up....period. That backup should be used and tested regularly. Consider this a lesson learned, perhaps. Good luck in the future.

If you are in the US, you cannot purchase an iphone directly from Apple without an AT&T contract. If you want to purchase a no commitment/no contract iphone, you will have to purchase such directly from AT&T. However, the phone will have to be activated on AT&T's network before you can do anything with it. AT&T will require that you establish a post paid account at a minimum.

Almost everything in the codecs package has been replaced by a native solution. The last few remaining things are inching their way into FFmpeg's subversion tree right now. From there they'll end up in every other project very quickly. In the case of Mplayer, it's the same the code base. Is there something in particular that you need that isn't working?

Is The Gesture Input Still Available in ICS?

I want to install the update and I've read a lot of mixed reviews so far. Some good, some bad. Before I try it for myself though, I would like to know if the gesture input(swipe keyboard) is available in ICS. I know I can install a keyboard from the play store to get it but I prefer the default one sony offered.
So can anyone who has installed the official update tell me if it is still available by default in ICS?

Yeah the gesture input is still present in the ics update.....and to add..... the look of the ics is sharp and nice......

i'm currently travelling overseas and can't install the software in the computer i use regularly.
does anyone know if we can still purchase the upgrades in FEB or maybe MARCH?
or maybe we can download the upgrades and save it to a hard disk first and then install it in our PC later????

I'm sure the updates will be available indefinitely. There's no reason whatsoever that they would no longer offer the update, that would just be a loss of revenue for them. I'm sure there are people who are going to hold off for quite some time, but will eventually pay for the added apps, and apple will be glad to accept there order whenever they come around.

Are the CS6 applications still available from Creative Cloud?

Can I still download CS6 applications from the CC site? I had to wipe my iMac hard-drive earlier this year and re-install everything in order to deal with a software issue. Although I reinstalled the CC applications I need, I lost all of my CS6 versions. Since I originally downloaded my CS6 apps from Adobe, I don't have installer disks available. I do have my CS5 disks, but I'd prefer to have CS6 available if possible.
From what I can tell from the adobe site, as late as last year Adobe allowed access to CS6 apps for CC subscribers. The "filter by version" button is no longer available in the CC Adobe Application Manager

Is the FCP crossgrade still available?

We just upgraded one of our systems to a Mac Pro from an older G4 setup. I looked all over the Apple site and can't find a place to buy the FCS1 crossgrade for Intel Macs. Is it sill available, or do I need to go all the way with FCS2?

The 2006 Crossgrade was excellent value, which wasn't all that obvious at the time to everyone, as not only did it allow the app to run on Intel, it also allowed a cheaper upgrade path beyond FCP 5.0.4. < </div>
Not to argue with you, buddy, I just think the importance of the crossgrade offer was obvious, well-publicized, thoroughly discussed everywhere that has any FCP relevance and a superb value, too. The fact that the offer was extended indicated the head-in-the-sand isolation of tens of thousands of pathetic go-it-alone FCP users.
I don't think the crossgrade offer reflected poorly upon Apple in the slightest.

Is the sleep timer still available on the iPhone?

After the latest update the sleep timer seems to have vanished from the iPhone version of this app, although it's still there on the iPad. Has it gone or am I just being stupid and not being able to work out where it has moved to?

Just realised that might not have been very clear, I mean the sleep option on the podcast app, not the general sleep option in the overall iPhone settings. There used to be a option to set the podcast app to go off aft the end of the current podcast or aft a set time. That option seems to have disappeared from the iPhone version of the app, though as I say it's still there on the iPad version

TS3243 The light on my Time Machine disk is on all the time. The back ups still occur OK and without any issues but I need to 'turn off' the light. Any ideas?

The light on my external Time Machine drive is on all the time. Up until about six onths ago it only came on when it was backing up. The drive is working perfectly and backing up regularly, but the light is driving me mad. I have tried to find an option to put it out but so far have not managed to do it. The drive is a Seagate 1TB Freeagent and has 913 GB free so cannot be anywhere near full. Can anyone offer any advice or guidance to turn the light off?
