Is the iPad icon and font size universally adjustable?

Simple question - I have a relative that would love an iPad, but one of the problems with some of these devices (iPhone, Kindle) is seeing what's on the screen! Is the font size and are the icon sizes adjustable?

There are the accessibility features which include:
Zoom - which enlarges the view on three finger tap
Large Text - which can make the text larger in Contacts, Mail, and Notes.

Next time you accidentally use 3 fingers it will zoom again. Unless you need the feature you're better to turn it off

Yes. Use an iPhone browser, such as iExplorer, to access your iPhone's file system. The screensaver photos are stored here;
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleTV.framework/DefaultAnimalPhotos
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleTV.framework/DefaultFlowerPhotos
Once you locate these files, you can replace the photos with your own or add more to the folders. Do not change the name of the the folder.

Will there be an alternative to the current minimalist theme of iOS 7. It is far to small for a handheld instrument. Accessibility does not solve it for me don't know about others. Perhaps offer the old icons and fonts as an option? Easier to view

lov2bugu, you said things the exact way I wanted to express them! It was like watching me talking to a SONY’s CEO.
I don’t really think they are not aware of the problems. SONY used to be the 27th largest company in the world, according to Forbes. They are now at the 456th place!!
They are aware of their problems and I think, the move to buy the remaining stocks from Ericsson, is a move to bounce back into the market. They found the right time, where the stock is too low and the economics around the globe don’t look promising enough. I have to recognize them, all the bad phases they went into this year … hacking attack, loss of their factory in London, global economic climate etc.
But these are not excuses good enough not to produce quality, reliable and technologically advanced goods. I think that SONY is not to blame for the bad course SE has had. I think this is what SONY wants to revert. They want to “embody” all their technology … BRAVIA engines (TV Tech), Walkman and Cybershot tech (using Carl Zeiss lenses), VAIO (Comp tech) and finally PS3. Ericsson tried to integrate them, unsuccessfully.
Overall, I thing SONY, did not have or did not attempt to have the control of SE, hence, the answer you got back from SONY “… anything related to SE must be posted on the website of SE”. I think they will bounce. Just give ‘em some time. I’m willing to give them time, but not too much though. Just because I’ve always loved this brand!

Finder window icon and font size

Is there anyway to increase the icon & font sizes that are located in the left column? I could not find any settings that will allow me to do so. I have already increased the icon & font sizes in the main Finder window which had no effect on the sizes in the left column.
I have a Macbook Pro
Resolution - 1280x800

You should know how you publish it and what the technical limitations of each type are.
No one can or will give you any advise to use this or that font. Make several drafts, try it, pass on several drafts to testers and get response.
If you work with styles, it is then easy for you to change it to the best result with a few clicks.
Normally a column width with 37 to 45 letters I would personally suggest to be the best width, but opinions are very different on it. The more letters in a line the less readability is given, the less letters the more difficulty you will have to get an even grey factor. (I mean that through space between words some lines become bright others dark, which does not look so fine, I don't know the English technical term for that.)

All Icons and Fonts have doubled in Size on my Iphone 3 GS

I have a problem with my Iphone 3GS 32 GIG model. I do not know what I pressed but I have turned all the Icons and fonts to double in size and now I can't see the Settings Icon properly because of the inflated size of all the icons and fonts.
Could someone please tell me how i can return them all to normal size?

A simple double-tap with three fingers instantly zooms in and out 200% and you can double-tap and drag three fingers to dynamically adjust the magnification between 100% and 500%.

That message means that you have to restore the iOS software because something went wrong. Follow the instructions here. I hope that you have a backup.

There is no Siri "icon". You access Siri using the Home button. But you may need to turn it on: Settings App > General > Siri. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4992

First make sure you are using the charger that came with the iPad and plug that into a good wall outlet. When the iPad battery is completely drained it may take some time on the charger before the iPad responds. Be patient and let the iPad remain on the charger for at least an hour then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until the battery is at 100%. If the iPad does not restart Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

New user of Mountain Lion. I find that when I attach a URL as a link to Mail 6.0. The font and font size changes!!!!

When I try to attach a URL as a link that is taken from Safari to mail 6.0 the font and font size changes!!!!!
It changes from comic sans 24 to heltvekia 12!!!! What the heck is going on??????

Seperate text size modification is no longer available in Safari Reafer.
Use Settings.
Settings >General > Text Size
