Earlier suggestions said that it wold come out late September/early October. But now that the date is getting closer more and more people are saying mid October. Now that it's already the end of the first week of September Mac Rumors stated that the mainly rumored date is October 21.

As diesel said, nothing has been announced and speculation is prohibited.
That said, I haven't even hear the vaguest rumor that this is coming. I think your friend is "misinformed". Perhaps they misinterpreted statements from T-Mobile indicating they are working toward providing more direct customer support for people using unlocked iPhones on their network. That in no way implies that the iPhone will be officially available on thier network.

I am unset about the iphone coming out. I just got my phone last year and if I knew the iphone 4 was coming to verizon I would have waited. Now if i want one I have to pay the full retail price. I think everyone who renewed there contract last year should get a discount, not just people who renewed in November. Now I have to wait until my contract renew. This is so wrong. I have been with Verizon a very long time and to be treated like this make me wait to change services.

{please keep your posts courteous}you signed a contract you have to honor it, if you want the phone do like the rest of us who were in the middle of a contract did and pay full retail price. Verizon shouldn't have to give us a discount just because we want a new phone. The iphone is no different then any other phone as far as how their contracts are. You knew what you signed before you signed the contract. And as far as giving those who purchased in November a discount, I actually did purchase my phone the 26th of November which does quialify for a discount, but it would make more sense to actually sell your current phone somewhere such as e-bay to offset the price of the full retail price of the iphone. You would probably get more money then what Verizon is actually offering. If Verizon gave everyone discounting pricing just for the iphone that would be very unfair to those customers who do not want an iphone but possibly want a droid or some other new device so it's best they stick to their contract and make customers actually honor the contract they signed.

3 weeks ago I bought a Mac Mini. A new Mac Mini model has been rumoured to come out anywhere between the same week I made my purchase and the end of August. None's been released as yet.
I wanted one in the week of June that I bought mine so I bought it based on the fact that it did what I wanted and I couldn't imagine anything which could be added that I'd want - my MacBook Pro doesn't have Thunderbolt so the most likely addition isn't really going to be much use for me.
Basically you have to buy what you what based on what's out at the the time.
I can promise that within seconds of the iPad3 being released, the web will be full of rumours about the next one!

My phone just turned 2 months old. But in Singapore as long your phone is under one year warranty I can still go for an exchange at the respective telco, but my friends all suggest me to not change now cause after changing it'll be a refurbished set instead of a brand new one.

There are always new MacBook Pro models coming out soon. However with current 2011 models you can install the faster, Rosetta program loving OS X Snow Leopard with a hack, instead of the new clitchy and unstable OS X Lion.
So you have a choice now, but for not much longer. If you wait another 6 -8 months, Lion will be stable and more programs will be compatible with it.
If this is your first Mac, I would wait. If you can do a simple hack with another Snow Leopard Mac, then you can opt to get one now and revert it to Snow Leopard and have a stable machine.
Else take your chances with Lion.

I select "Color Bars" , "Black", or any other option
and take out my bars and tone and slug from the
timeline, the print to video does not print anything
to tape except for a nice nothing blue. I don't

You are a genius! Man do I feel silly. So just for the benefit of others who might read this post, I did exactly as you said, and of course when I restarted FCP, I had to identify my Firewire NTSC setting for the drive. This time, instead of leaving my tapedrive offline, I left it on and immediately saw on my drive monitor the video coming off of my timeline.
Every thing works perfect. I now have a clean timeline with just the content I'm working on and don't have to worry about bars, slugs, post black. Just a few checkboxes and I'm ready to send my tapes off. Really nice feature.

Finally, Iexplorer helped to solve my problem.

Is your Powerbook one that has Optical in and out? If it is, then it has SPDIF ports instead of the usual minijacks of older Powerbooks. You can tell by opening Apple menu -> About This Mac -> More Info -> selecting Audio (Built-in). If SPDIF is mentioned, then you have Optical in and out.

You have an iPhone 4? The next iPhone was the 4S, which came out October 2011. Then the 5 came out September 2012. Then the 5C & 5S came out in September 2013. And then the 6 & 6 Plus came out in September 2014.
So, there have been 6 'next' iPhones since your iPhone 4. No one here knows when (or even if) the next iPhone will be announced or released. But a fair estimate would be September of this year. But that's just a guess.
